I'm curious, in the HP website for this laptop, it says it has DDR5 4800mhz support only, does it actually uses the 5600mhz in real application or is it underclocked to 4800mhz by the system?

Hi, I have the EXACT model (15-fb1013dx) but having stuttering issues after logging on Windows 11. I see that at 04:50 your BIOS version appears to be *F.02* and I have one step newer one which came with *F.03 BIOS* version.
My question is, do you have (or did you) any lag, freeze and stuttering issues before or after upgrading memory. I read posts that AMD processors are known to cause stutters because of TPM feature is enabled in BIOS by default. *So do have any low performance, stutter, freeze/lag issues while doing basic activities like while moving mouse pointer, typing keyboard etc. right after signing into Windows 11 with the Bios version shown at **04:50** friend?* Please reply me, I appreciate.

5600 RAM is defiantly better than 4800 but you must buy only Samsung Ram other than Samsung brand may not support by the motherboard

I have the exact same model (Victus 15-fb1013dx) and getting random *VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR* blue screen, especially at times right after signing into Windows when the PC is not under any heavy load. BIOS is F.03. Ran plenty of Diagnostic tests in UEFI mode resulted with no error. Is there anyone having same BSOD error here?

you have to backup your current ssd to the new ssd like 512gb to 1tb because of hp victus 15 only have 1 slot for storage

I don't know why you added 5600 mhz memory as this model only supports up to 4800 mhz DDR5 (PC5-38400).
it is working fine here.
HP replying to questions says that 5600mhz is max for this. 4800 factory. (On the Best Buy website)

i’m so confused lol, i bought this laptop and plan to change the ram pretty much same day i get it, but i can’t figure out what to order ddr4 or ddr5 because some people are saying only use ddr4 and others are saying ddr5 is fine and then some are saying one port is ddr4 and one is ddr5. but i thought you weren’t suppose to mix ram? 😭 someone please help me
