You didn't mention the issue with the transmission. Rough shifting, random accelerating, spinning in shifts. I own a 2020. The transmission is a mess.

I had a 2019 with 57k km's. Had to do the rear brakes, found the rear axel seals weeping. Also had the blend door issue which was going to cost $1500 to fix. I had the truck for over 3 years so warranty ran out. $2150 to fix these issues. Just traded it in on a Toyota product. Also lots of folks having to deal with transmission issues on Ranger forums I belong to. Liked the truck but glad I will no longer have to worry about and deal with any future issues the truck might have had.

Today i became a victim of a blown transmission on my 2021 Ford Ranger XLT with only 65k miles. I'm so happy.

I was the owner of a 2019 Ranger. Loved everything about it except the transmission. Rough shifts, banging into gear when downshifting etc. The only time it shifted smoothly was when I put it in snow mode. I sold that lemon before the transmission could fail. Time will tell how bad these 10 speed trans really are

There is a class action against them I landed a lifetime power train warranty with mine that's the only reason I'm keeping it and go figure turbo blows at 10k haha

Well the time is here I purchased a 2019 ford ranger and it is a piece of 💩💩. The transmission as you stated shifts horribly it’s going to get somebody killed.

Another common issue is the fuel pressure sensor on top of the fuel tank. If you get the truck undercoated or rust proof, it'll affect the sensor and throw a code.

I've been seriously looking at a nice 2019 Turbo .... damn, glad I did a bit of research.

You never got one ? I found a sweet 2019 private party. They had it serviced in October for the transmission. He said it was in the shop for 2 months. It still have 2 years remaining on extended warranty. I feel like I should seriously pass. I love the truck… what should I do ?

And : Soft metal ignition key, prone to wearing out quickly . Not built for a work truck as it’s always got some sort of electric/ sensor issue.

Glad I saw this video and several more like it. I was considering purchasing a used Ranger but now would only consider an F150. There seems to be quite a few low mileage rangers for sale, so I’m assuming the previous owners had issues with it.

Ive had my computer go out twice, the inside stuff worked fine, but nothing would work with my phone, such as the auto start, location, and so on, both times in January when its cold as hell. Wondering if it goes out again this january in time for the severe cold. This is a 2019. in addition, the second summer I had the truck, the fuel door arm cracked, and has since fallen off. I was going to do a diy fix with glue, but my recent dealer oil change resulted in them removing it from the glove box and doing god knows what with it. Dealer wouldn't fix it under factory warranty.

Well my 22 just ate a turbo at 10k miles but ford picked up the bill and I do have a lifetime power train warranty so I'm not too worried about it.

I just decided after reading these comments to not go with a used 2019 ford ranger 59k miles. These sound like a mess ???
