I’m going to be installing this same kit. I need about a 1inch to be leveled. I’m using the bilstien 2.5 in the front with bilstien and OME 898 in the rear 2 inch lift.
The lack of threads on the oem nut is done on purpose to provide the bolt a section to stretch out so that the tension created along the bolt is spread out along the length of the bolt. otherwise if the struts are held in place with a regular nut, the gap between the nut and mating surface of the top hat is so small that a high stress point is created which would increase the chance of the bolt snapping off. the new nut that comes with the spacer is fine as the lift spacer provides the needed gap between the nut and the mating surface of the struts. people bash on spacer lifts because its stiff and snaps the shocks when bottoming out but it works just fine when done right. choosing a top hat spacer lift like yours then upgrading to extended bumpstops should eliminate all the downsides of spacer lifts. imo spending thousands just for the purpose of lifting a truck is even more stupid
I’ve been looking into adding something like this to mine. 21 TRDORP. With KDSS 6112 with 120 springs and OME rear springs 400lbs 1.5. My front just seems really low still. Hopefully these spacers will help.
Thank you for this vid! I have the same kit and been looking for a video! Also sitting in my sock drawer for almost a year LOL

Any issues with alignment after the install?
