- Since 1987 that I have been visiting and living in Thailand, I have learned to look at life differently, and I feel richer for the experience. Not only have I experienced Thailand, but also neighboring countries and further afield in Asia. With so many wonderful experiences and memories, I am glad to be able to share some with you.
Thanks for sharing your story. Thailand changed my life too. On my second trip I met my wife and we married in the UK where we live now.

I think I maybe a generation older than you, the first time I landed in Thailand was 1978 and at the time I was older than your first time. I can relate to many things you documented in pictures except for the motor bikes .
I'm now living in Chiang mai so if you're ever here again we could catch up and reminisce about the old days . You're a great adventurer!

What is your favorite part of Thailand? I've seen a lot by now,but I still have't seen it all.
My happy place in Thailand always was a little beach on Koh Phangan called Than Sadet Beach. Been there a couple of times. But it´s almost 20 years ago, since i last have been there. Time to go back! Cheers from Cologne, Andreas
