- I explore Krabi, Koh Mak, and Koh Samui, then move to Songkhla in the south. With friend Alistair, we take an adventurous ride down to a party town called Betong, on the Thai/ Malaysian border.. .. I stumble upon Khanom about 15 years ago. Fantastic nice place. I bought land there just outside the city in the "jungle".
