I was there. `Was in two minds as to whether to bother or not. But so glad I went. It was amazing. I`m quite used to seeing and hearing fantastic public shows abroad. `Never thought I`d see anything like this in my own back yard.
You've done a great job of that mate and with decent audio too!..a massive bonus for people who've lived here all their lives and can't get down there to see it..Thanks:)
I'm a very proud Hullensian studying at the University of Hull, I graduate this year (what a year to do so!) and whenever I feel a bit down or start lagging in my work, I watch this video and the City of Culture bid video. I cry, remember that this is what I've wanted for years, and I crack on again. Thank you for sharing :)

I saw some of the show tonight (6th January) but was heading to station from work, with colleagues so was unable to see it all, but it looks and sounds superb! The sounds of the waves crashing against the shaw, really sent shivers down my spine!
I'm a Hullensian in Oxfordshire and regret not making the trip up. This looks amazing! Has made me consider the other events over the course of the year. Thanks for doing such a great capture and for making me feel I can still be a part of it! Is the score by Gavin Buyers?
