Its a damn shame that major military installations dont feature this type of variety anymore...you have to visit these smaller private airports for a full menu of variety 😢 Bring back the 90s, airshows were so much better and varied. Im tired of going to bases like andrews and langley with same cookie cutter shows of one jet demo and fillers for the rest of the show.

Agreed! I am yet to see a variety in terms of the military aircraft on display. Glad we still have some vintage warbirds around.

Airshows are a recruitment tool, a way to get the general public to support DoD spending and other various things to garner support. Military bases and the local area are already subjected to our military and often huge supporters. It’s all about the $$.
