Happy amazing day. Nice video. I was thinking to upgrade to the turbo s or gt3 from a gts but I need the 2 little seats for the kids every now and then. So maybe a turbo s . The main reason fir my change is the color I have a black gts and man it gets dirty so fast. I need lighter color might be a gts targa even
I did the opposite! Changed my Turbo S to a GTS and bought a GT3 also :) The GTS feels lighter and more sporty than the Turbo S. It´s heavier and more GT-car!! Of course it´s a matter of taste!!
Thanks for sharing, and it's enjoyable to watch these comparisons. On 1:25, I just noticed that there's a few water in the rear light of your GTS, should that be concerned? Cuz my CarreraS has the same thing on the right front side light. Just wondering if I just leave it be, would the water cause some electric problem?
I actually made a whole video on this and eventually I had to call PCNA to make the dealer warranty my light since the dealers were refusing to fix it. You should get it fixed as it’s not supposed to happen
I currently have a GTS build with a freeze date quickly approaching. I noticed you do a lot of track driving but did not option the full bucket seats. Is that something you regret not getting?
I tried to get the bucket seats but porsche was not offering them when I ordered my car. Looking back on it, I actually like the 18 ways. They look really good and I can keep the rear seats. The downside to buckets is that they lose the rear seats and they don’t fold forward. The 18 ways have really good side bolsters so no issues with sliding around the seat on track days. I would not get the 14 ways though
@@carswithnate makes sense. I think if I end up moving away from the FBS, I’ll go with the 4-ways to keep it as light as I can. I read across several reliable sources that 18-ways add 60 lbs (30 lbs each) over the 4-ways. Thanks for another cool video.
You needed the 4 to be more competitive. That's part of the diff, maybe most considering your tires. Btw, my sweetspot was the 2019 991.2 4 gts. Perfect blend of tech and analog for me! Good luck with the taillight!
1) the other driver is my brother and we get pretty much the same lap times in whatever car we drive at this track. 2) a 2 minute track is not enough? Most tracks in America are 2 minutes or less. Not everything is the Nurburgring. 🙄 I don’t think you know what you’re talking about. Anyways, I’ve driven the turbo S myself before as well and the results were the same. What cars have you tested at race tracks and what times do you get?
@@carswithnate LMAO what I own and track such an internet response, that's irrelevant it's you who put yourself out there don't like it, don't post. The lack of knowledge around physics, traction, tires and understanding that no 2 drivers are the same, the results around an adult sized racetrack with true straights and someone not worried about wrecking a $275k car will garnish very different results. To believe a car with 700TQ and 650hp competes with a car at 473hp and 420tq is silly but sure they are close if it helps you sleep at night. The larger the track the large the gap between the 2 cars and everyone knows Turbo S tires from the factory are not suitable for track use, why dont you think Porsche tests a Turbo S with Cup 2s around the RING, cause it would slaughter all the GT cars not allowing them to sell their marketing propaganda. Cant believe people follow this shit
@@carswithnateyou are all over the place. You are not smooth. Abrupt steering inputs and corrections. Looks nice but slow way around the track.you are over driving the car
I’ve driven this track 100’s of times in real life and tried smooth vs quick inputs and quick inputs always get me a faster time. On the sim I agree smooth is faster but irl for street cars smooth is not faster on a track like this. Street cars don’t really have good turn in so you gotta fight it to rotate. Go search for lap times of a 992 turbo S and GTS at eagles canyon. I guarantee nobody is getting much faster unless they’re a pro driver or on slicks . Pretty sure I have the record lap time for lotus Evora at eagles canyon too at 2 min 6 seconds

The turbo S is great if you want an upgrade. It’s so fast and sounds a little louder than the GTS as well.
@@carswithnate Sounds better and louder you said?
amazing
Yes because the turbo S has a bigger engine than the GTS. Turbo s has a 3.8 liter engine whereas the GTS has the 3.0 liter engine 👍🏻

Thanks and that is a great comparison
Thanks for sharing also note that the Turbo S had PCCB which gives it the edge in braking while cornering👍🏾 nonetheless the video was still enjoyable!
True the PCCBS are a little bigger and lighter than the iron brakes
Tires make a difference. You should have Cup 2s for both. I would guess your times would be within 1 sec.
Great battle! How do you like the Aero Package? Ordering my ‘24 GTS and still have time to add before the freeze on the build
Definitely a must have. It makes the car look so much better
need to mount the camera better

@@carswithnate okay, thanks
yeah, that was cool, maybe get an external mount camera?
That track would probably not allow me to use the GoPro on the exterior
Would you consider tuning the GTS? Would that bring the car closer to Turbo S feel?
Yes if you tuned the GTS it would get the same lap times as the turbo S
what about a M tune on your gts Vs that turbo?
I think a GTS with a stage 2 would beat the turbo S on a track
Is the gts awd? Or rwd?
RWD

Nice video, do you have an opinions on 4gts which is obviously all wheel drive vs the normal gts? It's quicker but is the normal gts more enjoyable?
I don’t really think you need the 4gts unless you are driving in snow. The gts is very balanced and puts power down well with rwd
The GTS will eat the GT3 on straight away as it has a lot more torque.
Very true

bruh theyre the same price
Turbo S is almost double the price
Compares two different drivers on a tiny 2 mile track, = nonsense
