That's a great idea, this old LEATHER SMITH did about the same thing a long time ago, the only difference is I put the squares on the bottle CAPS. GOD'S BLESSINGS BROTHER ✝️⚾🙃

Good video. The charts with dyed leather cutouts look very professional. I wish my local leather stores would provide those for their customers to refer to when buying dyes. I hit the download link, but there was only a 404 error message. I was allowed to sign up for the newsletter, but unfortunately no dye charts were to be found.

@@HobbyBloxs Oh, that is great! Very easy to find now. I came back to watch your video again to figure out which Fiebing's Pro-Dye colors I want to buy to try them out. I stopped the video to get a good look at your chart and it was very helpful. I'm only going to have 2 colors on my chart to begin with, but eventually I'll add more. :o) Thanks for your wonderful video!

I used the Fieblings tan on my leather chair. Just did first coat and stopped because it’s too orange. Should I do the second coat with brown? Looking for a camel / brown color. I’m scared it will be too dark? Appreciate any advice!
Fantastic video, thank you! Would you be able to show the swatches from the leather dye range? I am trying to decipher which red to buy to dye a pair of shoes at home and its difficult to tell.

Which one is darker? Show brown, chocolate or dark chocolate?
Dark Chocolate is the darkest.
I wish there was a wider range of colors of the Pro Dye. Any idea when they will expand the range? Also would the regular Febings lesther dye work as well for veg tan?
Hi. There is not a massive difference between the regular and pro dyes. You just get better coverage with the pro dye. The standard leather dye works great with veg tan - you may just need an extra coat to achieve the same depth you get with the pro dye.
Geordie Leather thank you, good sir. Do you also recommend to put shoe polish over the pro dye after it dries for added shine and protection?
