  • This is an international arrival into Newark Liberty airport in summer 2022. I arrived in from Canada at the international terminal and had a 7 hour layover at Newark so I decided to show you what it looks like.

    Glad you enjoyed Newark Liberty International Airport
    Been based here for many years as United Airline Flight Attendant.
    Although the three terminals may seem large and overwhelming, the terminal is easy and people friendly and easy to surf… For those who mentioned anxiety, you can always request assistance to reach your gate, you can request a wheelchair or hop on one of the motorized cars that usually assist senior passengers. To reach the other terminals there is a Monorail system that reaches terminals A -B -C
    The newly renovated Terminal C today feels more like a shopping center than an airport 😍
    As far as Reyjavik Iceland is one of the best places to visit on earth.
    Safe travels everyone 👍

      Thank you so much for the reassurance. Cos SQ changed their departure time, we're now left with only 1hr 20 minutes layover and will need to scramble from terminal A to B. Is it far to walk from terminal A to the SkyTrain? Thank you in advance. Appreciate it.

    Thank you for this video. I will be flying in from a Canada in a few weeks. I also have a 7 h layover but mine is overnight. It’s quite late so I will not bother spending $200 just for a few hours of sleep which means I will sleep at this airport. I hear they kick people out to pre security overnight so this will be an interesting experience. Thanks again 😊

      Yes. Funny story. I had a 5 am flight, and I arrived the night before. The tsa guard scanned my boarding pass and just let me clear security without saying a word. Then, at around 11 pm or something, an employee kicked us out.
      Jfk lets you stay overnight inside security. No idea about LGA though.
      Unless you are traveling with someone, you will have to stay awake throughout the night as they do throw people out of security overnight.

    • @Busybeeee
      @Busybeeee Год назад +2

      @@SYDAirlineEnthusiast this was not my experience. I did finally travel there, and nobody kicked us out overnight. They even put out bed cots, pillows and blankets for us as we were a few overnight travelers. But the airport was terrible. It was freezing cold, the lights were bright, there was music blasting all night and some of the overnight workers were just shouting like crazy so I didn’t sleep one bit. I got hungry and I bought a sandwich, popcorn and a bottle of water and paid US$45 for it. Then I tried to go to sleep in the chapel and it was packed of people. My worst airport experience ever. I will avoid these flights from now on.

      @SYDAirlineEnthusiast Год назад +2

      @@Busybeeee so which month did you have your layover there at and in which terminal? Were you inside security the entire time?
      Newark is one of my three home airline airports, and most of the flights I book normally choose Newark over jfk, which actually let me stay overnight inside security.
      I was able to remain inside the airport overnight, but not inside security.

    Sad part is Newark requires everyone to stay outside security overnight even if their flight departs as early as 5 am as of December 2022. That’s why I would only fly out of jfk for an early morning flight or if my flight arrives late at night. No idea if LGA lets you stay overnight.
