Regardless of how often these manufacturers and reviewers refer to these vehicles as utes,
in Australia they remain CREW CABS or DUAL CABS. Utes have a mono body with 2 doors!

I have the 2l twin turbo. Picked it up yesterday. First to have one in area 3rd in Australia to driveway away in one.
I’m glad I chose the 2l it’s better on fuel and a better motor. V6 wasn’t very wowing.
So far super impressed by it, the tech is next level. Love the app I can just start the car and unlock with my phone. Handles and drivers superb. All in all 70 odd thou well spent. 5 year warranty capped price servicing. It’s perfect

Interesting, I have a 2 litre bi turbo Wildtrak for work and a 3.2 litre Wildtrak as a personal car. I have had the 3.2 tuned and it is pretty spectacular for a diesel small truck/ute. On the highway I achieve 7.5 to 8l/100km and about 8.0l/100km out of the 2 litre bi turbo. Bi Turbo pretty much runs up and down the highway. The tuned 3.2 delivers some outstanding fuel economy in the front of a van, running a 6 tonne GCM. I have a 3 litre to pick up this weekend so be interesting to see how I see it comparing to my tuned 3.2, torques will be similar. I do hope that steering wheel movement doesn't come as a standard feature, will know in a few days I guess.

Looks tough? Looks like it had a plastic nudge bar attached to the front of the old Ranger and ran into a brick wall. The back seat is barely bigger than the original Amarok so it’s small children only in the back seat and cheap plastic dash for $70,000 dollars? The Raptor is $90,000 plus. Nope, just not worth that much.

Took a V6 for test drive just recently . Wanted to be excited about the performance of this driveline, but it is a huge disappointment especially when compared to my V6 Amarok.
I actually asked the sales bloke if it had a software lock on it as it had only done about 220 km. Got blank stares back. After seeing reviews by PD reiews and others on youtube it's a full second slower to 100k. Coupled with a 10 speed auto jointly designed by GM and Ford, ( a match made in hell!) I'll stick to the current Amarok with a spritely motor and ZF tranny.

For a 4x4 and they said they have listened argg ok... no big engine option for base models. well sorry, but us aussies; want a 4x4 want to be able to have vinyl floors wind up windows a manual trans and a big engine. So please drop all your crap.. and Give some of the strugglers a good poverty pack they can rely on in the wild and leave your top end latte rubbish for those city mums. And at least give some real caravanning and camping and rural people a real car.. if you can. 40k to 45k.. no fuss No muss reliable manual no bull crap infotainment. This idiot version was inspired by accountants that have no practical value until after the comments come in.. in which they would ignore anyway cause they are never wrong. Big disappointment. from a Ford fan.. Let down again by management.
