I have a Dmax and have towed our caravan a lot of miles in all types of weather. Some of my friends do the same with their Dmax and I don't think any of us have had one single issue ... in over 12 years. Reliability is the key to happy motoring as far as I am concerned. Awesome stuff you'll love it , they're so comfy and just yes please any day . Enjoy your new toy when it arrives . Mine is the Mineral white with the black mineral trim same as the standard sports rims .
I wouldn't expect to see any engine problems in a pickup at 250,000 km. That is only 155,000 miles. The first major schedule service on my Ram was scheduled for 350,000 miles.
Yes, for looks and comfort Ford all the way, but for reliability and durability its Isuzu. Im a mechanical engineer assigned in maintenance of different vehicles for years. Also, price of ford parts is a real headache.
I've driven that Ranger sport model and the Wildtrack V6 diesel both are great but I love my brand new 2023 model D Max X Terrain dual cab ute. I had extras put on mine as I live rural western Australia in the goldfields region so we have very stupid wildlife over here that think vehicles are made for target practice . I enjoy my new Isuzu D Max X Terrain ute and I goes very well crossing sand bothsoft medium and hard using correct gear selection and mode , traction control system works a treat and the difflock for low range works exceptionally well. Fuel economy is fantastic where I got it down to 7.4lt of diesel per 100km stretch on the highway in 6 gear . The transmission is very nice and I like and love the reliability of the Isuzu range of vehicles. I'm very impressed and happy with my new D Max X Terrain Ute. It's very well worth the money I spent on it fro suit my individual requirements perfectly. A touring and exploring rig with comfort style and modern tech which is more than enough to confuse me as I'm still very old school 😁😁😁. Overall the D Max X Terrain Ute suits my needs very well. 10/10 to Isuzu for a very nice ride .
Hey mate. I'm also in rural WA and although quite a bit further north than yourself I can assure you our wildlife are just as stupid up here. I'm considering a dmax myself and just wondering what bullbar you went with? Cause if you're achieving those fuel economy figures with some steel hanging on the front that's amazing!
D max for me...they last longer than rangers best work horses..ranger at 300000km they start to show true colours..they even sold them at my work place.
Im actually planning to buy either, first car owner here and by watching the video , i made up my mind i will get ford but then coming to the comments, it says otherwise... i can picture dmax is better then ford by reading all this comments . So maybe i should choose Dmax then
Both are very good Utes, recently drove the Isuzu 3.0 LSE DC and I still think the Triton's 2.4 diesel is better. Found the Isuzu to be disconnected from what I wanted it to do. The Triton on the other hand is not lazy and is quick off the mark if you want it to be. The paddle shifters on the Triton are convenient for overtaking or just for fun. Also, the ride comfort is quite decent and of course durability comes standard. Back that up with amazing customer service from Mitsubishi SA dealerships makes it the most underrated ute/bakkie on the market.
Even if you hate these Ute's the reviews and tests are relentless. I've found my self measuring the garage, will one fit ? Lucky its too big. Marketing works.
Ive seen Dmax and Isuzu in general running flawless above 400K, cant say the same about the Ranger. As a matter of fact, I own a 1994 (4ja1 engine) with 425,000 kms, running like a train, Ford only wins on the looks, nothing more, nothing less
I love how frankly he speak about the isuzu and thats isuzu way...i have one and its engine economy and durability was no exception 16years of no major breakdown is worth saving, the comparison was not fair coz a3L vs 2L engine was far in terms of fuel frugality but it s their way so be it..
Would buy the ford for its technology and premium luxury feeling as an pick up truck. But if you talk about bullet proof robustness and strength Would go with the isuzu.. So I Would have both these as my daily routine trucks .
how strange weather is happening in Australia right now, they are wearing winter jacket in December! it is still weirdly cold at night in Queensland as well!
Drum rear brakes on the old Ranger were great. No issues with warping, rusty discs, worn pads and a reliable/simple and effective manual handbrake. The drums braked perfectly well.
The 2 liter Ford has a narrower torque band and the 10 speed auto covers this up, the Isuzu 3 liter digs deep and the well proven super reliable Aisan 6 speed is more than sufficient, whereas the ZF 10 speed proved troublesome in some slightly earlier US Ford and yes GM vehicles. For long life and reliability the Isuzu is the pick IMHO. I drive a 3.2 liter 5 cylinder Ranger, now on its 2nd engine at 180k, not known for the reliability of the Isuzu or for that matter the 3.2 and 2.3 Mitsibishi diesels. However the 3.2 has a wider torque band than the newer 2 liter Ford and pulls well with the 6 speed ZF, but if heavy towing fit a transmission cooler if you don't wish to discover ' limp mode', a well known issue within the industry, Melbournes well respected Wholesale Automatics designed and supply plenty of twin radiator transmission kits for the Ranger ZF 6 speed as a result. Oddly Mitsibihi Triton autos ( also Aisan ) are factory supplied with transmission coolers. Ford need toget ther act together as they strongly promote the Ranger for towing,
The 10 speed in smaller Ford (10R80) and GM (10L80) vehicles is not a ZF. It was jointly developed by Ford and GM. Ram and Jeep use ZF transmissions in the lighter offerings (up to Ram 1500).
The back seat is actually more comfortable in the Ranger. No USB? Meh.... buy a plug in USB socket from KMart. After a couple of goes the pull-out armrest won't be an issue.
Being an 8 and a half year driver of a dmax with 280 k on the clock i wont be changing to a ford the earlier fords had transmission issues around 100k ive had nothing with my dmax ill be ordering a new one .
When are Isuzu going to do a performance version with a tuned up diesel, Thailand does so many upgrades on that stout engine with reliable option all the way upto 500hp and 1100nm, a factor backed 200kw and 650nm version is easily achievable.
The UK Ranger has a 1060kg payload and the Isuzu 1010kg I believe. They must be rated to carry over 1 ton in the UK to qualify as ‘dual purpose’ vehicles which allows eligible businesses to reclaim the VAT on the purchase price and write the total cost off as a cost against their business. More and more ‘consumers’ are buying these though, and that makes them very costly, not vehicles I would chose for the money using my taxed income.
F O R D = Fixed or Repaired Daily Isuzu = Japanese Robust Engineering with proven reliability especially the 3.0L found in the d-max which also found in their trucks
Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed the review. The good news is, neither of these utes is a bad choice - but it comes down to the fine detail of what you're after, and there's no shortage of happy D-Max owners, that's for sure.
Two points, first the Ranger seems to be a 4WD that will last you into the future but the Dmax does not and needs updating also the Ranger may be to long for some garages. Second, 4WDs need to be tested in all real world off road areas not just driving around Melbourne roads. Come to QLD or WA and do some real 4WD beach driving. I’ve owned a Dmax since 2014 and I’m waiting for what if any Isuzu and others will do to equal or better in Ranger, hybrid something maybe.
Isuzu and Toyota won’t they will do things that last. That big screen on the ranger and the full electronic dash is cool I won’t disagree however it won’t outlast Isuzu 😂. U must understand you can’t have the best of everything you must compromise somewhere wether that be reliability or technology. I have 2 Fortuner’s one with 550k km and a brand new vcross I can’t speak from experience.
The d max is a very old car and is not the reliable car it is made out to be the body seperates the crank shafts break the steering shaft in the cab comes adrift and the list goes on. Take a cloer look at what you get in both cars not just the items mentioned. From this you will find a real dispity.
The 2ltr bit turbo Ranger does not have disc brakes on the rear, they are only on the v6 versions. I have an Amarok v6 and even after the new version of that comes out I think I’ll be keeping mine for a while yet. Waiting to see how reliable the 10spd auto is. Loving my Amarok for a farm/work daily driver after even over driving 100 000kms. And the lack of some of the electronics are a plus for me, especially on the farm.
I've driven them all this past week...my thoughts are the Isuzu is the best drive but would benefit from a throttle controller being a bit sluggish down low. V6 Ranger was pretty good but really didn't like the 2L engine. T60 was the best of the rest with the new Triton pretty close
When the new Toyota Tundra and Ford F150 come to the market this year you could do a comparison test with the Toyota Tundra and Ford F150 and Chevrolet Silverado and Dodge Ram
$ for $ these 2 are equivalent. Ranger has more tech, quieter cabin, more responsive steering. DMAX sounds like a diesel and have reliability on its side. DMAX has aftermarket parts already on the shelf for any upgrades or add ons. Rangers cabin feels more spacious as does under the bonnet for a second battery. Time will tell for fords reliability for next gen and the V6 version.
If you don’t have something in the tray all the time, I would definitely go for their SUV counterparts rather than the utes every time for that sort of money.
both built in Thailand,so they both will have their own little niggles,Ranger can do with EGR cooler for serious long hall towing,Ranger great choice for serious towing with the V6
Xterrain do have tailgate assist, or it depends on the selling country ? Also, I watched plenty of reviews, and the diesel consumptions numbers you're getting on these models aren't true. The ranger is bigger and heavier, achieving higher consumptions than that. At the opposite, the D-Max is famous for its low consumptions numbers, thanks to its very wide torque range. Honestly the problem of the roller cover, was solved by Mazda BT-50, they got a top of the line edition, which got a cover that actually roll over the bed, and not disturbing at all the loading or eating space in the cargo.
Sounds a bit biased against the dmax. I own one and dont agree with alot of the comments. Great review on the ford, should prob done the review on the dmax as well.
A lil bias but alot better then others i seen where they wank over the ford so much it makes woman pregnant just by watching it. This wasnt bad at all though. I hate the ones as an example where its like i hate black roof lining the dmax is stupid for doing it. Then jumps in another model and not a word said about it being black and how it looks good. 🤷♂️
Depending on what you are using them actually. I'm not a tradie but often go back and forth between bunnings and some nursery(plant lover). Plus, camping and outdoor stuff like kayaking is our weekend routine, and an SUV isn't quite “versatile”. It can be both hall plants and bags of potting mix, but they will make my SUV trunk messy and smelly for the entire car. Same as dirty outdoor gear like tents, hiking boots, inflatable kayaks, etc. I am currently own a Prado, but still looking for a ute😂.
Not necessarily. I know plenty of families and non tradies who own utes so they can haul stuff and move loads without needing a trailer and don’t need to worry about getting the tub dirty like they would if they used the back half a of a wagon.
How are they totally impractible? I'm not a tradie and have had one for 5 years. I put five mountain bikes in the back, I tow a 2.5 ton yacht with the back of the Ute full of gear, I go camping with a tray full of gear. I pick up loads of mulch from the landscaping place. It is a softer more comfortable ride with much less road noise, and a better stereo than my wife's newer Mazda 3 evolve! The Ute is now the number one choice as a lifestyle vehicle in Oz for good reason. If it were totally impractible that would hardly be the case😉.
Im actually impressed by this vid i was waiting for the wankfest normally that happens over the ranger but even though i knew the ranger was going to win before watching the vid. The video was very well done. Good job! Me personally would rather the dmax still over the ranger. But ranger does add some cool lil extras. Reliability is a must and the dmax wins there not saying it doesn't have its problems like most cars do ect Infotainment in the ranger i love and hate at the same time its nice and big but having the controls for the heater in the screen when the controls are just there is mind boggling. Maybe at the stop of the screen it would be better so your eyes aint taken off the road looking down. I seen you didnt mention the cup holders under the vents in the dmax but bought up the measuring tape on the tailgate haha Those holes on the ford im sure someone will make a cup holder insert for it as like you said, its just a useless hole with no real use. Its also good to note about the tailgate is the 2023 model of the dmax is getting torsions bars to make it lighter which is good just how the ranger has it also.
Most enterprising owners would soon delete the rear centre armrest latch if it bothered them. The gear shifter is dead simple to use and no more peculiar than BMW’s current stick. It’s just different.
I am an Isuzu fan boy dating back to the original KB Rodeo, but work has a deal with Ford and I got the new V6 XLT… now we need a new Ute to replace a 1992 Rodeo TF, I am torn between the Ranger and D’Max and still am.. 😊😂
Ill be looking at the new Amarok 2.3T when it arrives. I'm after more of a car that has the ability to do some light off-roading, do a tip run and pick up a second hand tallboy if the need arises.
lookwise i would prefer the ranger. comfort n durability wise i rather choose dmax.one more thing, i hate when people didn't mention about their height when reviewing the back seat.
Great review, both 'cars' are exellent. I'd never pay that much money for n ute or off roader to go to Namibia, or the Karoo desert. To fancy ans to many bits that can can give problems. Double turbo is good for the first 150000km, from there on get your wallet. To me comfort and tech has run away to far. In SA the Mahindra Karoo double cabs are eating into the market because its not over speced and over priced, normal people can use an maintain the vehicle, drive thru a river without worries, go camping in far away isolated places because you've got money left to do things....
Thanks for the report guys - I wouldn’t spend over $65k for a vehicle as I would rather put that into property which appreciates in value - I’ve owned many Subarus and now own a well looked after 2010 Hilux 4WD Diesel Auto which I bought just before Covid for only $18k and it’s solid, economical and reliable - value for money is excellent because it’s practically three cars for the price of one being a domestic gardening/trekking/daily driver which is harder to spread the duties with an SUV - Ford have reliability issues and it’s a bogun brand.
I have never bought my Dmax as a recall for engine problems other than a loose bold on the rear tray or suspected loose bolt related to steering. But friends frequently bring there car back to ford with engine light problems, noise and leaks . Even with warranty its a pain in the a$$ as a owner after spending 10k more than a d max
Not really in the market as I’m patiently waiting on my new WRX to arrive next year. However, based on reliability, it’s hard to go past the Isuzu, as my 05 RA Rodeo will attest. Would still be happy to do a quick run to Weipa in it. I just question the longevity and reliability of both in another 17 years.
Definitely not a family vehicle. Need a wagon for comfort. If you want a ute cut down a 200 or y62. Is the norm . Definitely not a power house or luxury in a ute. Unless you buy a raptor.
In the Ford line any trim level that is Lariat or above is pretty luxurious. A King Ranch, Platinum or Limited is going to have more luxury features than a LC200 or a Y62/Armada.
What’s most frustrating with Utes in Australia is that none seem to have a soft opening tailgate. Pull the handle and let it go and it lowers softly and gently. It just goes “bang” open unless you hold it. Unacceptable for the price. James you’re sitting far too close to the steering wheel in the Ranger while explaining the internals though. As for the price - if you’re spending $60-$90k you’re better getting an SUV over a Ute.
Wheres the off-road/4x4 comparison? The 4x4 drive-train wasn't an 'afterthought'!!! These 'trucks' primarily & potentially belong to, and are purpose-built for folk who work and go camping/touring! Reliability is the big winner here so 'right off the bat' we aren't talking ford! And we are talking about the whole drive train! One of these vehicles is a 'buy once, low, low maintenance investment, both in a tool and tourer whereas the other vehicle is a high maintenance city pretentious poser that's going have folks regretting their initial decision to buy it in the first place! Those who have done the homework over the years know that Isuzu is the winner by a huge margin!
As good as the Ranger is, the bottom line is Ford are delivering an over priced car with lots of bells and whistles that allows customers to do the quality control for them. Isuzu lean towards reliability and robustness. Bump steer? I’ve spoken to 3 suspension specialists and they all told me it’s because wheel aligners don’t know what they are doing.
I gotta tell you guys I have a current model MUX it is the same as the D-Max The MUX is the most annoying frustrating car I have ever driven and I have probably driven more cars than most. I christened it "Beeping Betty" cause that is all the bloody thing does beep beep beep Oh yeah lane control that is never off You go to doge a pot hole the bloody thing pulls you back into it Let alone the 2 cyclist I nearly cleaned up as I moved out to pass them and Beeping Betty pulled me straight back at them The poor guys thought I was deliberately trying to run them off the road. Yeah I set it all up so it doesn't do it, Yep It was great but guess what As soon as I turned it off and restarted for my next drive all the settings cancelled out and went back to where they were originally (the dealer told me it was a safety thing) and OH yeah the window wiper washer set up The washer outlet is in the actual wiper blade when you are sitting on 100kph no water goes to the bottom of the blade on the drivers side so right in front of your eyes you have a big dirty blurr. It has other multiple design floors like the drivers side sun visor cannot be pulled down and placed against the window as the rear vision mirror is in the road You can't pull the wiper arms back to clean the window as they foul on the bonnet I can go on and on. The car drives great has plenty of power it handles well but all the safety features control the car not you. ISUZU you can stick it right up your clacker Buyer Beware
Get an Everest, our ranger resets every month or so but that’s much better than every frigging start up, it’s a 3.2 and has had no reliability concerns up to 40,000 kms, the last one is still being used by an employee at 420,000 kms no problem. Though I’m not sure about the new V6 and Bi-Turbo in terms of longevity
Just read thru that thick manual and go thru settings then to synchronise both clocks together the one centre dash board console and the drivers dash instruments. Took me 8 goes at it and finally got it right . Done my head in as I'm not young but old school and electronic is a nightmare for me lucky I got smart kids who are familiar with this rech and they did the rest for me . Keep trying mate you'll get there . The manual is tuck and flaming heavy as . Have fun read and playing . Like I'm still doing now .
Thats not the only think that is weird about Fords choices of features in the whole range. Have a good look from XLT through to Wildtrak and even Raptor. e.g. Intrument cluster has no taco in any ranger except Raptor but Amarok Does. Can not option up XLT With a lot of Wildtrack options. Wildtrak has adjustable tie down rail. Why not available in XLT/Sport. So many other silly decisions by Ford.... So now I am waiting to see if they listen before a purchase is made.
Interesting that the tape-measure came out for the tubs, but not for the cabins. I wonder about shoulder room, leg room front and rear, head room front and rear. Rear door opening, always was a down note for access in these dual cabs, so have they improved or not?
My experience - Isuzu has it well-balanced and better looking ( to my eyes). I'm not too fond of the Ford look - I think VW's face is better and morden.
Looking at these two in a caryard this year. It is clear that the ranger is a generation ahead. Dmax feels old, like hilux. More a comparison to the PX3 Ranger.
D-Max I still don't know why the steering wheels are not aligned with the driving position right. The wheel tilts to one side. And the armrest is to low on the door card. Uncomfortable driving
That sketch pad in the Ford is awesome, gives you something to do while you wait for the Tow Truck.
This made me laugh. I'll never go near a ranger again
Isuzu durability and reliability is hard to conquer 💪
that the point.
But the wait time are bs
That right babe
Gutless engine would go for the fords v6 any day
Old wives tale re the tractor motor and the vehicle shakes and sounds like one
I’d take the ranger all day everyday for looks and comfort. But I’d always be worried about issues. Dmax for reliability.
I’m the opposite. I’d take the dmax because I don’t like how American the ranger looks. I can’t argue with how comfortable the ranger is but what is the point in a comfortable ute. @snapduke spot on fella!! Hilux reigns supreme still. Ranger is far too American looking and it's a ford lol
I’d rather the Isuzu for reliability and a proven drivetrain, after having a friend work at ford hearing all the issues they have,no thanks…..

I have 2014 Dmax 2.5 4jk1 engine at 200,000km.Very reliable never a problem. I trust the car.

Rangers are killing it here in rural Queensland. Ordered a 2024.50 Wildtrak, wait time around 3-6 months. Optioned up and sent directly from Thailand.

Tell us you know sweet f-all about utes with out telling us you know f-all about
Well I would buy the Ranger because I need a MacDonald's chip holder and theres no way I'd buy a Dbanger because it doesnt have this feature 😁
I would pick next gen ford Ranger over any uts in the current market.
I love to have the Ranger and Isuzu DmAX these utes ate both great
Ill go for ranger 🎉
'Assuming your a chippy' most people that buy these now only go to shopping centres.
Is the Ford a constant 4X4, Or 2X4 like the D-Max? I placed a deposit on the D-Max yesterday because I didn’t get any assistance at Ford
You can run both in RWD, then 4WD high-range or 4WD low-range
Dmax have a “I wannabe a Korean car” design.
How so ?
the tough times are about. it will often come down to bang for your buck. Isuzu for me
Ranger everytime, particularly with the V6 TD. Sure DMax is a good thing, but not up to Ranger level.
I have the V6 Ranger Sport & it is awesome. I get 8.6L/100km on the freeway. 186kw/600Nm is very handy 👍
Whatever I've driven ford for 7 year's now and changed to isuzu for 4 months now and really hat of to the isuzu it amazes me every day
Your joking right? 🤣 Dmax way better and can get a lot of power too with its 4jj3
@@pariscooper5458 2023 DMax…..rear drum brakes, 450Nm. My 2013 Colorado had 500Nm!!! 😂😂😂😂
I've got a Colorado and there all power on paper and shitty in real life 🤣
I've driven them all this past week...my thoughts are the Isuzu is the best drive but would benefit from a throttle controller being a bit sluggish down low.
If I had money, I' d buy the Isuzu!
You see them a lot here in 🇮🇱
How long until the 10 speed grenades itself
I give it a year or two
The new Ford Ute is a Lemon.. Izusu' s engine is like a tank
Ranger wins hands down
Xterrain do have tailgate assist, or it depends on the selling country ?

Dual cab utes are totally impractical unless you are a tradie. The MUX or Everest are a far more sensible choice.
Reliability is a must and the dmax wins there not saying it doesn't have its problems like most cars do ect
Infotainment in the ranger i love and hate at the same time its nice and big but having the controls for the heater in the screen when the controls are just there is mind boggling. Maybe at the stop of the screen it would be better so your eyes aint taken off the road looking down.
I seen you didnt mention the cup holders under the vents in the dmax but bought up the measuring tape on the tailgate haha
Those holes on the ford im sure someone will make a cup holder insert for it as like you said, its just a useless hole with no real use.
The new dmax upgrade include tailgate assist wireless charger..
ill go for Ranger V6
At least the ranger will look the goods when it's on the back of a tilt tray.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I am an Isuzu fan boy dating back to the original KB Rodeo, but work has a deal with Ford and I got the new V6 XLT… now we need a new Ute to replace a 1992 Rodeo TF, I am torn between the Ranger and D’Max and still am.. 😊😂
Ill be looking at the new Amarok 2.3T when it arrives. I'm after more of a car that has the ability to do some light off-roading, do a tip run and pick up a second hand tallboy if the need arises.
12:10 that cup mount cubby has a pretty agressive lip on it, so I keep a 2m tape measure in there. Hasn't fallen out thus far
lookwise i would prefer the ranger. comfort n durability wise i rather choose dmax.one more thing, i hate when people didn't mention about their height when reviewing the back seat.
Dmax all day 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Its a cup holder, you can order them. Comes with wildtrack.
Isuzu all day
Not really in the market as I’m patiently waiting on my new WRX to arrive next year.
However, based on reliability, it’s hard to go past the Isuzu, as my 05 RA Rodeo will attest. Would still be happy to do a quick run to Weipa in it.
I just question the longevity and reliability of both in another 17 years.
Then u should not be buying a wrx they were ok about 20 yrs ago
@@tyzon00800, maybe you could try and mind your own…
@@tyzon00800 who buys a WRX for reliability, you buy one for smiles
Who wants to be in the same Ute in 17yrs time anyway? The tech will be ridiculously outdated and the vehicle worn out even if it’s still going.
@@jerrymyahzcat, quite happy to be in mine.
Roller tonneaus are not good. A good tri-fold cover is a much better option since it can be secured vertically which allows you to use the full bed.
The isuzu is for MEN
Ford is to give it to the missus to go shopping and go fetch kids and stuff
Been driving my Dmax x terrain for a year now. I am a woman...😂times have changed. How about the men do the shopping while the ladies go off-road lol
This box does not beat the ranger on any level , it’s a tractor in disguise
bit disappointing that the new dmax wasnt tested for this video
What’s most frustrating with Utes in Australia is that none seem to have a soft opening tailgate. Pull the handle and let it go and it lowers softly and gently. It just goes “bang” open unless you hold it. Unacceptable for the price.
James you’re sitting far too close to the steering wheel in the Ranger while explaining the internals though.
As for the price - if you’re spending $60-$90k you’re better getting an SUV over a Ute.
Haha - everyone says that, but I swear I'm not. I'll shoot a video to show everyone where I sit and why! James
It's hard to watch mate...do you have abnormally long arms?
SUV vs pickup is going to depend what you are using it for.
I would not change my 2023 dmax X for any other unit….
I would, drove both of these Ute's, I'd pay $3000 more for the V6 Ranger. It makes the Isuzu feel gutless and old
ILove ford
Dmax for me! 🎉
Ranger wins and is far better by a mile
Nice. Honest review! 🎉 ganun dapat wag puro maganda lang.
Thanks for letting us know. I know the radio can be a pain to operate. Touch screen lags. There is no sport mode ? I need it for over taking.
They've put a cancel button on the steering wheel in newer models
Style is Ranger
Substance the Dmax
What say you
The two separate clocks in the dmax is a massive deal breaker for me.
What year is the Ford?
Go for the V6 Sport. Glad i paid abit more.
I find it odd abit for ford to remove the cup holders from the wildtrak below trims
Just picked up my Next Gen XLT yesterday and it has a digital tachometer.
I find it odd that they would have cup holders mounted on that part of the dash.
Interesting that the tape-measure came out for the tubs, but not for the cabins. I wonder about shoulder room, leg room front and rear, head room front and rear. Rear door opening, always was a down note for access in these dual cabs, so have they improved or not?
There’s enough room in the cabin.. unless you are over 1,95 m.
No peace of mind with the ranger in terms of making it to your destination…😂
My experience - Isuzu has it well-balanced and better looking ( to my eyes). I'm not too fond of the Ford look - I think VW's face is better and morden.

@@tyzon00800 My Apologies...It's my bad - Autocorrect -modern. Hope this makes you happy.
Better Ford ranger in all feature aspect but Isuzu D-MAX only best because of fuel economy
LoL cupholder delete, c'mon ford 🤦
Looking at these two in a caryard this year. It is clear that the ranger is a generation ahead. Dmax feels old, like hilux. More a comparison to the PX3 Ranger.
D-Max I still don't know why the steering wheels are not aligned with the driving position right. The wheel tilts to one side. And the armrest is to low on the door card. Uncomfortable driving
