    yeah, I'd also stutter when I have to say "best value" with current (and previous gen) Ranger pricing in the same sentence. Sure, it's competitive with other overpriced competition like Hilux and Amarok, but lets not get carried away and call it good value.

    Fuel consumption?

    • @351tgv
      @351tgv 2 года назад

      without any for knowledge I would think that fuel consumption for the 2L sequential turbo with 10-speed on the 4-door versions will be around a realistic combined 9L per 100km which is 11.1kM per 1L (that is based on a full 80L max fuel tank) with he V6 about 8 to 10% worse off again combined consumption cycle.
      The current gen (now superseded) Ranger in 2L sequential turbo diesel i4 with 10-speed are getting roughly the same fuel consumption figures with the 3.2L i5 turbo diesel about 5% worse off.

      at this stage since there was no "FX4 MAX" trim level announced (which is the Australian equivalent of the "TREMOR" upgrade trim level it appears there won't be that specific version at this stage, of course that most likely will change.
      It's going to be interesting to see what rear suspension the NA market Ranger Raptor will have (provided the NA market actually gets a Ranger Raptor for this new gen Ranger) since the Bronco has a cheap as crap to make panhard rod live axle 4 link set up while the Ranger Raptor (and Ford Everest) have the far more sophisticated Watts Link live axle 5-link set up, we have seen that the F150 Raptor now has the rubbish panhard rod live axle 4 link set up so will be interesting to see what they (Ford NA) do wit there version Ranger Raptor provided there is one.
