E19: La Bocana Baja California. Surfers Callum and Jake Robinson and Jack Rhoad killed in April 2024

On April 28th or 29th 2024 Australian brothers Callum and Jake Robinson and their American friend Jack Rhoad were killed just south of a remote beach in Baja California called La Bocana and their bodies were dumped down a 15 foot well. When they failed to show up at their planned Airbnb in Rosarito a few days later, the call went out to find them. Eventually one of the men's phone was located and the woman using it arrested. She said her boyfriend had given it to her and said that he had killed some surfers so he could steal the tires off of their truck. Police found the truck and campsite burned and when the bodies were recovered, each was found with a bullet in the head. Many people speculate that the suspect is a patsy set up by the cartel to take the heat off of what may have been a case of wrong place wrong time for the surfers and potentially seeing something they shouldn't have.
