RATM and A Perfect Circle of the 2010's. i know people are gonna hate on this, but i'm not talking about the music, i'm talking about the message. their songs are the "Bullet In The Head", "Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm Of The War Drums" and "Killing In The Name" of today. capitalism and all that comes with it (corruption, pollution) and mass manipulation; finally a band that's trying to change the world and make people wake up.

"We've given the vampires the keys to the blood bank." To be honest, these lyrics get me so goddamn emotional. I swear, this song has more feeling it than most of the shit that's coming out these days. I like the typical metal theme of gore and ex girlfriends, but this shit is important and so charged. I love this whole album. The lyrics in every one of the songs hit me right in the chest.

Personally i think we shouldnt lable bands with genres insted take the band for what they are. Music is always changing and people change with it. For example what was considered "pop" 20 years ago is nothing like the "pop" we have in this day an age. Just take music for what it is and forget the lables.

I highly recommend you to also listen to "older" stuff, especially the entire Hollow Crown album. To me, its one of the best metalcore records ever, regarding songwriting, lyrics vibe etc, for a couple of years, i think, it was the soundtrack of my life.

I just saw these guys last Friday, and I really wish they used my City's show for the video.
This crowd is pathetic.
We had people climbing on stage and stage diving, the pit was huge, the whole show was rowdy as fuck.

It's amazing how these metal-Goth bands play live. The Beatles could not even dream of playing live like Architects or Messhuggah. Now either they are good live or they won't survive.
