Awesome video. Thanks for making it. My factory thermostat on my 2019 is sticking after having cam phasers replaced. Ordered the updated one and gonna install it this weekend. Hoping my radiator fan doesn’t run at all this winter
Thanks for posting this video, I have an 18 and live in Florida as well. Did you have any issues with rising temps at idle? I’m stock, but if I’m at a stop light I can see my temps go over 240 and then quickly drop back below 226 after moving, but it just doesn’t seem normal.
I actually had to remove the mishimoto and installed the updated oem thermostat. I was having over heating issues like you. After some digging I found out they changed how the thermostat flows and I guess mishimoto doesn't know that.
Hey I noticed on your catch can hose going over your exhaust vct solenoid you might want to move wire from under the hose up it will over time chew up your wire 👍🏻
@@_willalexander.88 that sucks man... I had a 2015 and some idiot hit me from the back and totalled my truck too. Loved that truck, now I have a 2021 3.5 ecoboost. Honestly I like the 13th gen better

This just happened to me. I wonder if the cam phasers cause this somehow?
How much did the cam phasers run you?

Yes.this just happened to me too.glad to yall post .I was getting little worried. When I run 80 or 85mph it wants to stick a little
Why did they provide shit seal ?
I’m curious what symptoms you were having? I have a 2018 expedition and the temperature climbs when I’m under throttle
