@@isabelj512 i assume its because Q does not rebound (sort of irrelevant i think) and the string is light (no mass) so no additional force is acting on P and therefore has no reason to go faster/slower so the speed remains constant
@@isabelj512If the tension is the same, the acceleration is the same throughout the system
