Hey I got a 68 camaro with a destroked 400 and brodix heads. What did you do for headers? I’ve looked all around and can’t find a solution. Thinking about just welding a spread bore flange onto a set of camaro headers

iabsolutely love your build. im gonna use a dart SHP block , 3.48" crank , 4.165" bore, 225cc promaxx maxx series heads epoxied down maybe as low as 195 actual cc's. 'XFI 292 like' but a solid roller cam with 11.5 to1 static and dynamic at 8to1 plus. perspectively .
It sounds mean always wanted to build a 377 ...with a wicked lumpy cam like that nice job. Is that a solid roller what are the specs ? Thanks for showing the video

I had nothing but issues with this carb, I Switched to a Holley and it solved every issue. And it idled great once it got a little heat in it. I’m building a blown 427 with twin 950 Holleys now.
Lol thanks.. A lot of people ask the same question.. I've always liked these old squares. This 4spd truck is fun... And yes I've got at least 5x in the engine vs what the truck is worth lmao... Sleeper at it finest
+stephenjray1988 Damn near every hot rod and muscle car out there has WAY more money put into it then they are worth lol. My buddy used to always say we all had the same disease of putting $30k + into $300 cars. We do it because we love it and enjoy it.

ive switched to profiler 210cc heads with 2.08 valves now.. they flow around 307-310cfm.. seems to make more than the bowties...
That is a ligit engine right there! Should have been at least 12:1 tho. Very nice ligit build.

It was a camcraft Solid roller camshaft, 264/268@050 duration and had .635” valve lift
I'm in the process of gathering part's to build one.what rear seal do I use 350 crank seal or a 400 seal
350/400 use the same rear seal. I used fel pro

I have a comp cam in a bored out 350. Mine starts rough like this and takes about 45 seconds to clear up. What's up with that?
I like to build oil pressure before turning on the ignition .

Probably too much fuel at startup. If your carb has a choke on it, try opening it up a teeny bit more.
