Man very very clean and beautiful job with that box!!! Jealous! Haha I don't think I could do something like that as clean as you did, but that's not to say I'm not good at wiring but honestly I don't think many people could do such an amazing job! Love it! 🍻
Finally ordered the aluminum sheets, hope to move forward on this project. I do have one question tho. You do a major tear down of the cabin to run these circuits. Do you have a video on just the un-assembling all of that? Thanks!
You could probably get away with much less disassembly. If you go look through my posts at the Wolverine Forums you will see I added a ton of things all at the same time so it was much easier to take apart the whole thing.. I used the wolverine service manual. Taking it apart is pretty easy, just time consuming and I wish the engineers thought about the fact that people want to install stuff. Then maybe some areas would be easier to access.
@@venomchris5818 i was smart enough to purchase the service manual but like most of them those views and diagrams aren't always the best. On a side note, my Wolvy finally hit the 150 mile mark so into the shop it goes for its first maintenance. Thanks Chris for your awesome posts and videos and I'm sure I'll be hitting you up again!!
I ordered the fuse panel. When you ran your light bar wire, you mentioned running it through the fuse panel using the wiring harness that came with the light bar. Did you keep the inline fuse that came with the wiring harness? Also, I don't plan or adding a 2nd batter yet as I won't be running near as many accessories as you so I will probably just run the fuse panel directly from the existing battery. Do you think this will be okay? Thank you for the great videos. Probably the best I have seen.
On my dual battery setup I'm running a stinger relay run to a key hot. So I made my rocker switch all time hot like yours when I turn on switch everything works as it should but it's also I think pulling some from main battery because key hot for stinger and main switch trigger wire are hooked on same terminal on stinger Would like to know your thoughts and if I should ditch stinger and run a relay like yours
If you are supplying the Switch with a constant 12 volts and when the switch is on it is activating the relay then you should be good. When the switch is off no power should be going to the relay from the switch. When the switch iss off, test both sides of the relay for 12 volts. Only one side of the relay should have 12 volts when the switch is off. Also, post a link to the stinger so I can see it.
@@venomchris5818 the two small post on bottom one ground one is trigger I have tapped into accessories fuse on main system for key hot to small post on relay I also main power switch on panel running to same small post on relay
@@venomchris5818 yes two small trigger wire but I got to thinking about the other reply you sent and I now know why I was worrying I'd because I turned key on with power switch on by accidentally and I need not to do that. Like you said there's no way for it to draw from main with key off main switch on. Just one of biggest wiring jobs I've ever done like this and my mind is everywhere thinking of all the routing and configuration of wire lol. I went back and watch the switch and relay video
Sorry to bother you again lol. So I have began wiring my sxs added second battery I am now wiring up the relay 4 pin I would like to have it on a switch so I can run stereo and other without having key on machine. I tend to over think things to the point of confusion so I was hoping you may be able to assist. A visual is always better. I am hoping to use a 2 pole switch. Hope you can help thanks

Can you show me how you wired the power switch from relay? I like the idea of the constant power with key off for accessories
I have a video all about switches and relays
On a 4 pole relay the 85 and 86 pole for constant power to switch. Switch pos. To 30 switch neg to? Does it matter 85 or 86?
Does the rocker switch in the cab run directly to the relay against the firewall?
Link for aluminum mystery boxes?

Watch my video on Relays, Switches and Fuse Panels. That should explain it clearly..
