People were asking about the warenty and I said I didn't know so I received the information in an email from the manufacturer. the details are listed below.
The Sanlida compound bows are backed with a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original owners. This warranty will apply to limbs, risers, and cams. The warranty consists of the following programs:
Limbs: The first 5 years cover the 100% warranty at no charge.
    Risers: Lifetime Warranty
    Cams: Lifetime Warranty
    Items Not Covered
Strings, cables, arrow rests and component parts, cable guards and cable slides are expendable components of a bow and are subject to a variety of conditions that are beyond our control. Thus, Sanlida cannot and does not extend any warranty for these parts.
    Original Owner
The terms of the Limited Warranty are a part of the sale between Sanlida and the original purchasers. The warranty is nontransferable. Proof of purchasing may be required.
    Damage Not Covered
Transportation and insurance charges for the return of the bow are not covered. Damages caused by abuse, mishandling, dry firing, alteration or modification made to original products are not covered and will void the warranty. Additionally, shooting of arrows less than 5 grains per pound of peak draw weight will void this warranty on all bows.Sanlida reserves the right to make parts substitutions on warranty coverage at Sanlida’s sole discretion, for any reason.
    Bow Warranty Registration

    Hi Sean,
I just watched this bow review. I am looking for a good beginner bow for my wife. Archery is new to me and I want to get my wife involved in another hobby that I enjoy.
I got a used Bear Attitude compound bow about a year ago. I have a friend that is a competitive archer and he helped me by recommending a good archery pro shop that would get the bow checked out and all set up. They also gave me a few lessons to get me started. For now, I have been watching your videos and practicing in the back of our house every morning. There is a field out back where I have marked off from 20 to 50 yards. I am shooting from 20 to 30 yards for now. Taking it slow and trying to work on my form and consistency.
Anyway, thank you again for your informative videos. They are really helping me and inspiring me to get outside every day and practice with my bow. On a personal note, your scriptures have been helping me as well to remember and practice my Catholic faith.
I watch the mass everyday at 7 PM at home with my wife. I am keeping up with the Bible verses that you mention in your videos. Thanks for everything. God bless you and your family.
    Tim from Tennessee

Great review! I’m in the process of purchasing this bow. Have you seen any company that produces aftermarket strings? Also I want your thoughts on adding twist and speed knocks for more speed on this bow. I have a 30in draw w/29.5 Easton carbon hex weighing 370 grains fixed blade and intend on installing a drop away rest to also help with arrow speed. I previously shot a Matthews black max2 shooting 337fps. I’d like to stay above 300fps. For me, faster is better.

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  4 года назад +1

I typically send people to 60x custom strings. You can try speed knocks. For arrows, I'd go to the manufacturer's website and put in the specs and see what spine they recommend.

Hey! I'm watching Your content about archery since week I guess and I realy respect Your reckon :) I have question to You about that Sanlida, is it USA or China production? I can buy Sanlida Bravo with basic equipment(as true begginer which looks budget solutions for hunting bow), for about 250$ and I'm wondering if it's a good choice, If not, I also consider Gen-X XLR8 but it's higher price option(more-less 340$) so I wonder what's better - buy cheaper stuff for the start, or kill money pig with these miserable 100 bucks inside and buy Gen. What You say? I'd be thankfull for short advise. Greets from Europe :)

Sean how long do bow strings typically last? I've had a bow I haven't shot and the strings may be atleast 4-5 years old that are on it. Should I just have the bow restrung before shooting it?

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  4 года назад

String life has a lot to do with how much you shoot the bow. Also it is related to how you store it. If it is stored in extremely hot temperatures, strings and cables can stretch. In that instance, you would need to probably take them off and add twist to them to get them back to specifications. However, you should still be able to shoot them for a while. The more you shoot strings, the more they wear out. so, it has more to do with how much they are shot. As long as you keep them waxed, you should be okay for a while.

Sean, I'm a beginner and just order my X8 bow. I have some confusion about draw weight and draw length. If the bow is set at 70lb, then with my draw length, say 27for example, then the actual draw weight at my draw length will be around 60lb. This is the info I got from your video. Is that right? Then with the same draw length, if the bow is set at 60lb, then the actual draw weight at my draw length (27in) will be around 50lb. I made this assumption based on the knowledge from your video. Is this assumption correct?

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  2 года назад

IF you loosen the limb bolts so that it is 60 pounds while at the 31 inch draw length, and then you change the draw mods so that it is set to 27 inches, then yes, the draw weight will be reduced. I cannot say if it will definitely be a ten pound increment that would yield 50 pounds but it will likely be close. God bless you

If I use 250 spine arrow with lighter grain tip. What will be the diference?

    Hi Sean,
I have a question about a product. Have you ever heard of Alpine Innovations?
They make a bow slicker, which is like a sling to carry the bow. They also make a sight slicker which is a small cover made of neoprene used to cover and protect the bow sight when walking in the woods. Their products are reasonably priced and made in the USA.
I have both the bow slicker for carrying my bow and the sight slicker for my bow sight.
Although, I do not have the hunting and archery experience like you and many others do. I wanted to protect my bow and bow sight when outside. Let me know what you think about these products. Maybe you can do a review on this company and their products.
Thank you and God bless you.

@@dans4270 Thanks. Allow me to share some thoughts, and I hope you will prayerfully consider them and talk with Jesus about them. Many people who read the Bible without knowing the proper context in which to read it don't realize that to believe in Jesus or to call upon His name means you must respond in the way Jesus commanded we must respond. What does it mean to call on the name of the Lord Jesus? That means we must request baptism. We need the Church ministers to provide baptism, which also means we need the Church. Firstly, read Mark 16:16 where Jesus says we must believe AND be baptized to be saved. Also read the book of Acts 2:37 how the people were cut to the heart by Peter's speech and said, what must we do to be saved? Peter responds you must repent and be baptized. Peter also reminded us in 1 Pt. 3:21 that it is baptism that saves us now, because that is how Jesus wants to give us the saving grace he won for us on the cross. If you are not baptized, you won't be saved, for Jesus says you must be born again by water and spirit in order to enter the kingdom (John 3:5). If you look at the reaction of the Eunuch in Acts 8:36, he hears Philip preach about Jesus, but we don't hear what Philip even said. However, we know what he said because of the Eunuch's response. He yelled, "Look, there is water, what is to prevent me from being baptized?" As soon as he received baptism, Philip was taken away. So, in coming to belief in Jesus and calling on His name means to request baptism. Also read in the book of Acts 2:42, the people DEVOTED themselves to the teachings of the Apostles (hearing the word preached at Mass), the communal life (This is lived out in praying at Mass other), the breaking of the bread (Celebration of the Eucharist at Mass), and the prayers, (the prayers we say at Mass). Read how Saint Paul had to correct the Corinthians who were abusing this. 1 Cor. 11:23-32 he reminded them of the Eucharist which he received from the Lord - it isn't just a human meal where you eat and drink. Rather, you are celebrating the Lord's Eucharist. He even says that if you approach the Eucharist without discerning the Body of the Lord, you eat and drink judgment on yourself. Why would you be eating and drinking judgment if it wasn't the actual body of Christ? Then we read Jesus' words in John 6:51-59. We must eat the flesh and drink the blood of Christ to be one with Him in the New Testament, the New Covenant, and he will raise us on the last day. And if we choose to reject that teaching, we are like the followers of Jesus who walked away from Him as depicted in John 6:66. Again, we need the Church and her ministers to provide these sacraments. We can't just do it on our own. That is why Jesus didn't come to give us a book. Rather, he chose 12 men to minister to his people (Peter, do you love me? Feed my lambs...) Jesus gave them all the sacraments, such as reconciliation (Confession), John 20:22-23 Jesus breathed on them and said "Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, whose sins you retain are retained" (How could they know to forgive or retain if they didn't hear it first?) James 5:16. we are reminded that we are to confess our sins to one another, not confess that we have sinned, but our actual sins. As Catholics, not only do we live the Scripture, but we do it in a way that we grow spiritually - not telling just anyone, but God's minister who can give us advice for overcoming that sin. Again, we need the Church, we need God's community for this to be possible. It is not Jesus' plan for us to go it alone, yet many modern Christians interpret the bible in a way that implies a do it on your own type of plan, and that is just not Jesus' plan. Thanks for watching, and God bless you.

@@seansoutdoors ok I see you believe your church's teachings and know them well, that being said I'll tell you what God's word says.
I'll start with this. The text for the king James bible comes from Antioch Assyria, that is where the disciples ( someone who's disciplined and following Christ's teachings ) were first called Christain. All other bibles come from the texts from Alexandria Egypt.
In English we have to ask " who, what, when, where and why ?" Etc.
Mark 16:16 is just before Christ returns to Glory ( the father's side ). Jesus said I am come to the house of the lost sheep of Israel. He didn't come for the gentiles. We get in because the Jews rejected him.
Acts 28:28 is where Paul tells the Jews that the salvation of God is sent unto the gentiles, and they will hear it.
The jews require a sign in
      1 Corinthians 1:22
jews started with signs in Exodus 4:1-9
Jesus told the Jews except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe in John 4:28
Jews associate water with purifying all throughout the old testament.
John the Baptist used baptism to bring out the jews to get them ready for their messiah.
Baptism gets you wet it doesn't save you.
      1 Peter 3:26 says it's a " figure " a figure is not the real thing.
It also says " ( not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God." I got baptized AFTER I got saved. So didn't the Ethiopian eunuch. IF thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. He was baptized after faith.
As for John 3:3 Jesus explains what he's saying to Nicodemus so he can understand it. In verses 5-6 born of water is the physical birth, the woman's water brakes and after the child comes out. That's why he said again " that which is born OF THE FLESH IS FLESH, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit.
You have to be born " again ".
God is a spirit,... " being born of God is the spiritual birth.
Being born of water is the physical birth. No baptism.
Paul was asked by the keeper of the prison in Acts 16:30 " sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
Paul said in verses 31 " Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved,..." no baptism.
As for John 6:51-59 Jesus is doing this to get ride of them and to see who'll really follow him.
In verses 15 Jesus percieved that they ( the people he just feed ) would take him by force, to make him a king ( wasn't his time to be king yet ), he departed but they followed him. That's were he states of eating his flesh and drinking his blood.
In verse 63 he tells " it is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth NOTHING: the words that I speak, they are spirit, and they are life.
If Christ was talking literal than he'd be braking his own commandments.
Genesis 9:4 before the law, you're not to eat blood.
Leviticus 17:11-14 under the law, no soul of you shall eat blood, or even the stranger.
Acts 15:20 under grace " ...., that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from BLOOD."
      Acts 21:25 is a repeat.
In Luke 24:33 there are others besides the 12 disciple, so there's more than 12 disciples. In acts they cast lots between two men who had been with them sense the baptism of John. Christ sent his disciples out by twos and there were 70 sent out all at once.
In James it says confess your faults not sins.
Ok I know this is long but one more thing. Salvation ( according to God's word ) is a free gift.
Ok please answer me this on question how much work do YOU have to do to receive a free gift?
For by grace are ye saved, by faith, and that not of yourselves, it IS the GIFT OF GOD, not of works lest any man should bost.
now I didn't give you what my church says/teaches I gave you what God's word says.
We can argue about the Greek text, or where our bibles come from but one thing no one should argue about is the gift of God. Jesus Christ was given, the just ( Jesus) for the unjust ( everyone else ). In April of 1998 I trusted Gods Word. I put my faith in what Jesus did for me on the cross ( he said " it was finished). I asked him forgive me and save me from hell. Ever sense that day I've been trying to follow him. I put no trust in what I've done because there's no way anyone of us can work our way into heaven. Jesus is the only way, and I'm talking about the man/son of God, God manifest in the flesh.
If you're trusting in your works, church Etc. than according to God's word you are already damned John 3:18
Please don't think I'm attacking you or anything like that. When people hear God's word they get offended.
I'm not trying to insult you or be a jerk, I believe God and I can only speak those things that I know to be true.
      Thanks again Sean.

If the arrow broke that means you had a bad arrow, assuming it was a carbon arrow.. Here is the video I made on how to put the string back on ruclips.net/video/Pz7riB3PIzE/видео.html
