Hey Dream! Started an SEA account after having played EN for 500 days and 800 hours. Have not spent one ruby since joining (joined when Molusso banner was running) and have only used seals. Almost all 4 stars. Most challenging play through I have done yet but having fun. Thanks for the great video!
Thanks for this guide. My luck went full after watching this, I tried rerolling to get Cyrus and after four tries I got him and Sofia as well. I didn't spend any money yet. I already got Fiore, Viola, Gilderoy, and Millard as well. Fiore is already 2 awakened and the rest are 4.5 stars.
More random tips: you can almost always run successfully if it's not a plot battle. Most of the time you will know there's a battle coming up because the game prompts you. If it is a plot battle and you lose, no big deal. You can start that part over(usually just the cut scene(s), which you can then skip, and the battle. Alternately, you can pay rubies to continue where you left off in battle, but that can get expensive (rubies for more characters might be preferred by most).
Something that struck me as weird was that if you only had one party member instead of a full team of 8, you don't get more experience for that one character(no split exp). Also, only the characters in your party gain exp. I'm sure a lot of things are obvious, but just an FYI at the outset for new players:)
Just started in the middle of Therese banner. So far, without the needing to reroll, I was able to acquire Lynette almost immediately. Pulled three times in the step banner as to get more units and I got Theo, Eliza, 4.5 Scarecrow, and Fiore. So far so good, I'm not going to spend anymore as I am good enough with this team.
I have used several accounts. These were the best starters I got in different accounts 1: Viola + Tahir + 3 stars 2: Sofia + Cyrus + 3 stars 3: Viola + Aslyte + 3 stars 4: Theo + 3 stars 5: Millard + Wingate + Tahir + 3 stars 6: Millard + 3 Star Camila + 3 stars 7: Lynette + 3 star Menno & 3 Merrit Any advice which account should i continue playing?
Wish this was made earlier lol. but no regrets here, I managed to start with 6 5* teams including dupes for Lynette and Immediately awaked her to 3x if I get another one I might just awaken her 4th time so id be done with it and next goal is to save for her lvl10 ult.
I got Lynette, Scarecrow, Theo and Millard 4.5 and im good to go for that, gonna hoard and go play hard mode till i see a banner i want or a Collab for Nier comes, that's the only time i'll use my rubies 100% for sure 😂😂😂
Got every 5 stars except scarecrow and cyrus. Lynette is at Awakening IV too, the other 5* are at awakening 1 except sofia. Story mode is just a walk in the park it feels like 😅.
I just got Lynette as my starter + 4 stars from the launch reward 10 pull in one account versus Scarecrow as starter + 4.5* Fiore from launch reward + 4 stars in another, should I stick with Lynette account or Scarecrow? How to reroll? Btw, when I tried using Guest Player I got myself 5* Lynette Viola Sofia and Scarecrow also 4.5* Theo. But once I bind my account, the data is overwritten and I need to restart all over, and I got only 5* Scarecrow and Viola

Yea their 4.5 star versions are fine, you can rank them up with hunts later on. Ultimate attacks aren't in SEAs version yet, when they release it will come with a quest and tutorial.

As you level up, you get job points you spend on your skill board, each node has a stat increase like atk, def, hp, sp, a new skill, speed, or passives. At the start, sp pools are really low, but as you get higher level it starts to grow.

If your other units are good, it's fine, it's more of a mindset to have going forward. I didn't save any of my stones for the first four months and I regret it.

So I just deleted my sophia acc 3 days ago and got lynette account,within my first 1k rubies I got a1 Theo a1 lynette and 4 star gilderoy now I'm trying to get Cyrus and damn this game is amazing
You can try to message the official SEA cotc twitter or NetEase about it. If you didn't spend any money yet, probably faster to get reroll :/ Always bind your account to an email as so as you are happy with an account.

I dont believe it is in SEA server yet, we were under the impression SEA was going to get accelerated like TW was, when the Ultimate Training Tower releases, thats how you unlock ultimates.
South east Asia it's a separate game from global, (Philippines,Malaysia, and some south eastern Asia just got the game) I guess we don't belong to global lol

Very true it's a lot of money, but I'd be careful about the real game part, because cotc has more content than both of the switch games combined. I'm at 1500 hours of playtime after 1.5 years.

Binding the account shouldn't clear any data, it should just give you a way to log into it, so try to log in to the email you bound it to.

Lynette, Viola, Theo is a great start, just put your rubies into Cyrus banner as you go until you get him.

You can just use the Viola Cyrus account if you want to stop, Lynette will hopefully come home later on.

How do people reroll? With only 10 pulls the game gave at the start, or i just missed any event?
Yeah people are rerolling with just the 3 pulls from rubies and the 10 seals :/

Its a chore thats worth doing, could try to get cyrus with some rubies and if you miss out, then go reroll for him.

You don't need to reroll, but its a very nice quality of life for a game that a lot of people end up putting hundreds of hours into.

No, he is perfectly good at a0. And since he was added so early, you will naturally get his a1 from pulling on future banners down the road.
Those elite monster is not respawn anymore after beat it? I ask cause daily reset/weekend i don see those cait respawn anymore like at the video
They respawn every day, I think its every 20 hours for the caits.

I would reccomended trying to get at least another unit in rerolling, but if rerolling will kill your enjoyment, just play on through.

That's a fine start, try to put some pulls into his banner from story rubies.

No pity, but it has spark shop.
Every time you pull on a banner you get fragments and with 150 or 200 you can buy the rate up unit.

Theo's regen procs before poison damage does, so make sure you keep that up.
