I like what you're doing Fabziy. Breaking stereotypes of the army, you're a strong male role model figure in a society of fatherless homes. Showing the army isn't just a place to get shouted at but a place to be broken down and rebuilt into a better man. A place to find REAL friendship & REAL brothers. Not "friends" like you find in the street, but friends for a life time.
You only get shouted at during training once you've passed that things tend to be a lot more relaxed

Have to admit your doughnut buying for the team reminds me of my Navy days in the mid-80s. On finishing a night out I remembered my colleagues and would buy an extra portion of large chips for the onboard crew to share. We all are part of a team, we all recognise each other and the benefits of starting the trend of buying chips for my colleagues, when they went ashore they would remember me and buy some for me. Never my intention but its important we care, think about our peers

I was in the guards for 6 years I'm looking at coming back to the army I want to go into the paras cause that's what I wanted to do when I was in and go to guards para but didn't go that way in the end do you think it's worth going their on this 2nd time or to get trade?? Like the vids good look at what its like just remmber these lot might be hard on you know but all the staff might even turn out to be a pal later on in battalion grin and bear it it's worth the hard work ,( last 10 go again ) 😂
I'd personally get a trade pal. You can still do P company if you choose another cap badge and you'll then serve with that cap badges Para Regiment but you get a trade and all all the quals that go with it. If you can get a trade and some good quals from the public purse then why not!

you know there is P-Company so you can attach to the paras. army commando means you completed the tests the royal marines do before they pass out. it means you are in the army but can attach to royal marines

Kenneth Taylor it goes by BMI I think, think max is 32 but may be exceptions to Dr. Discretion. Google it
Nikita bmi is unreliable, I don’t know why they go by it.
PiddlingFish I know, but they haven’t evolved yet to use a better measure....
BMI between 18-28. Can be up to 32 but only if your waist is under 94cm and you are over 18. (If under 18 it must be under 28)
I passed assessment centre in July 2019 and had a BMI of 31.3 (I think?) and a waist of dead on 94cm and was declared medically fit to proceed as long as I passed the fitness tests (which is did :D) They advised to get my bmi down to 28 for phase 1 which I start on 2nd feb at winchester.
Currently got it down to 29.5 and my waist is now 92cm (EDIT -89cm) and fitness is significantly better than at AC last year. Still bricking it for next medical though.
