Your videos have really given such valuable information. I go for selection at the end of August and your videos continuously motivate me. Thank you Fabziy!
These vids need to be on the army website they tell the truth. The drama the emotion but also the amazing stuff the bods learn along the way. Keep it up I intend to watch the videos I’ve missed
I remember Ammos Hill in Scotland. When we came down to York for second stage, we were a lot fitter than the lads who had completed their first stage down South. I just attacked everything they put in front of me. I loved the 8 mile C.F.T. as you could then wear the the Combat Infantry Flash. A good sense of achievement. Not everyone can do it. Many didn't complete it. Wipe any disruptive thoughts out of your Mind. Positive Mind, equals positive results. Respect to you lads! Scotland was a lot better to train and live.
Fabziy, thank you for sharing your insite to army life. Im currently training myself to join, running, press ups, sit ups. Your videos motivate me everyday. Hopefully i will meet you one day :) thank you for you service

I pass out of pirbright this Thursday. Just want to say without a doubt, the pti’s in pirbright are incredible at what they do and are so motivational to make me want to do better in pt sessions.
When I do a tab I think it's better to be in the middle. I enjoyed goin through depo I always finished at the front but kept in the middle as that was best for me but I would tab past the slacking lads some times a quick double feels easier than a tab just to stretch off. Last tough tab was 8 Miller up Scotland gaeloch head at one point there was a very steep hill very steep and long. someone tried to take up a lootin van and it tiped backwards on to its side ha ha ha. The para pt's hammered us they wanted to break a record that was recorded on a phone app the record was set by runners we learnt afterwards. And they broke it and broke 50% of the recruites wearing full kit. ha ha ha. One lad decided to go beyond the pti the idiot.
Did this in 1981, Heartbreak, Sand Hill.. etc. 58 webbing, SLR,DMS and putties.. 🤣. Nothing like doing this in the pouring rain with 58 webbing weighing half as much again and rubbing the skin off your shoulders 👍. Anzio Platoon, Tng Btn and Depot, RAOC, Deepcut.
I’m glad I found your channel, helps to give an idea on what I may be doing and what to prep for for when I go over, although I won’t be going to pirbright. I imagine it’s similar things all around?
Great video, well done lads, i used to love these tabs as a shit digger grunt in the shitty jock guards Regiment, back from 2004 to 2008, And now that I am back in training in the services(RAF REGIMENT RESERVE'S), I can still knife it in my sleep!! And thats me both drinking and smoking, and ive sti.l got it, must be genetic luck, i asume. And put it this way yes I'd rather guard an airbase, and NAAFI, anytime!!
Its actually 90% physical and 10% mental.. Unless you are unfit... Rofl. Then I guess your 'mental' goes up. But consistent training = injury prevention and a better route. Easy for an athlete. Hard for an unfit civilian.
Fuck me the troop staff need to get all up in that. Lead from the front show that it can be done. Get the motivation going. Good vid bud. Mental resilience is so underrated but so vital.

Just go out running every day, no need to train with weight as they build you up to it. Just put on a pair of trainers and do a 3-5 mile run every day and you will be fine. Doesnt hurt to mix in some pressups and situps either.
Emma Whitney don't put yourself off when you watch these videos. Instead, look at what you can achieve when you join the army. Everyone has to start somewhere. Get out for some runs and do a bit of fitness - the army gets you to the next stage of fitness so that you too will be able to do this. Be positive and prove to yourself that no matter how tough something is, you can do it with determination.
