Tuesday's Gone Lyrics:
Train roll on, on down the line,
Won't you please take me far, away
Now I feel the wind blow outside my door,
Meantime I'm leaving my woman at home.
Tuesday's gone with the wind.
Well my baby's gone with the wind.
And I don't know oh where I'm going.
I just want to be left alone.
Well, when this train ends I'll try again,
But I'm leaving my woman at home
Tuesday's gone with the wind
Tuesday's gone with the wind
Tuesday's gone with the wind
My baby's gone with the wind
Train roll on.
Tuesday's gone.
(instrumental break)
Train roll on many miles from my home,
See I'm riding my blues away, Yeah
Tuesday, you see, she had to be free
But somehow I've got to carry on.
Lord And...
Tuesday's gone with the wind
Tuesday's gone with the wind
Tuesday's gone with the wind
My baby's gone with the wind
Train roll on.
Ahh on.
Cause my baby's gone.
I'm riding my blues day.
Train roll on blue.
Ride on train.
Ride on train.
Ride my blues day.
Goodbye Tuesday.
Goodbye Tuesday.
Ahh train. - Видеоклипы
Greatest Rock band of all time right here. Nobody since has never played with the passion and heart that Skynyrd played with
Led Zep is the best studio band...LS is the best Live band.
I Agree With OCN60 Pure Magic.....Lost my hubby 10yrs ago We Always Would Always Be There In Spinit With Me Train Roll On Babe..... This was The Song That Came on The Radio When I Left The Grave Site This Song Means So Much To ME....Thanks For Posting.....
Tuesdays gone was my daughters favorite of Skynard's songs. She is now in heaven with Ronnie, Steve and the others. Rocking through eternity.
Brings tears to my eyes! I had the pleasure of seeing them twice before the crash and no one put on a show like Skynyrd! I hope you are barefoot right now Ronnie, so you can feel all the Love coming up to you!!
Miss Ronnie so much....one of the real classic song writer, singers and band leaders of all time.
Man it takes me Back to a Time we were a Free Country , I remember being in East Tennessee and jamming to this and it takes me back to a Great Time and Country. we used to Drive in the back of a 77 Ford from Michigan to the Blue Ridge Mountains and let me Tell you ! it has and is in my Soul ...... Shame what happened because I'm sure Music would of been a lot better if that Plane Did not crash. You can play This Music and never Gets old ! sadly the Music Today just Sucks ! Thank you for the Video and Great Memories
It is a shame what happened to the band, they will never be forgotten. If you listen to the words of the songs and the stories they tell, it is about life and the struggles that we all deal with on a daily basis, some more than others. Lynard Skynyrd lyrics hold a deep spot in my heart, because of the struggles that I have had in my life. I will always be grateful for their music, but I will always be more grateful for the message.
Comments like yours, reassure me that the after life is real! Amen brother.
No band has come close to this line up, i agree with everything you said. Just a pleasure to be able to watch and listen to them. Have a good one
allen and gary make their awesome guitar playing seem so effortless and natural, so gifted
Clint, you evidently wasn't around when RVZ and original SKYNYRD were tearing it up. For those of us who were, today s band isn't close enough. The band didn't move on, the name did. The name SKYNYRD is why this band is making it today. SKYNYRD the band stopped on Oct . 20th 1977.
I was lucky .I got to see them when I was 13.The beat I have ever see.Ronnie is looking down from heaven and smiling at his brothers for keeping it going. But Ronnie was the best.He is still rocking in heaven.God bless you for your music.
Lynyrd Skynyrd was the very first concert that I seen in Philadelphia P.A. in 1977. It Featured Molly Hatchet, The Jake Isles Band and the Headliner was Peter Frampton, but everyone left when he came on stage. It was an outdoor concert with more than one hundred thousand people their. What a GREAT SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very nice. As hard and faithfully as the subsequent versions of Skynyrd have tried, there is NO COMPARISON to the "real thing". Thanks for sharing!
In eighth grade (73-74) I had the 8-track Lynyrd Skynyrd (pronounced leh-nerd skin-nerd). Played it so much. Have loved this song for 40 years. Still gives me chills when I hear it.
Such an amazing song, and Gary really tears up that guitar.. You can just hear him pouring his soul into it.
I however, am AMAZED that there is a video of this, but not Simple Man.. I know the guys didn't like playing slower songs, but Simple Man was always one of their most popular ones, and I really wish I could see the old band doing it.
It truly blows my mind hearing and seeing this every time and I must have watched and listened to this particular copy 100 times or maybe many more. What a band and Ronnie just lead that band so well. More power to anyone who keeps his dream going. I even do a couple of his tunes on stage. "If I leave here tomorrow would you still remember me" Ronnie Van Zant Yes we do Ronnie. We remember you, your songs, your music and your band. So many of us remember.
That's pretty cool that somebody had the presence of mind back in the 70's to audio and video record this show at Winterland, the talent in this band was and still very much is legendary.
for real ,,great live , no earphones ,no backing tracks , just live kick you inthe teeth f,ing music RIP
Very true saying
THIS SONG IS SO BAD ASS
20 years old from south mississippi in 74 when i first heard them. got to see em 3 times. ronnie can never be replaced.
What a beautiful lead. Speed maniacs have a lot to learn from these guys. That it's not just about technique or speed but soul and passion.
Absolutely the best of soulful rock an roll. Best ever!
Best all-American band of all time...cut down 30 years too soon....RIP Ronnie, Steve and Cassie !
Never tire of listing to this fantastic group
Ronnie and the Honkettes harmonising is goddamn Southern Rock heaven
A fantastic song to me with so many memories of the 70's. Glad to have been alive when these guys were to be able to hear their great music. They all died much too young. Isn't it always the way?
...this was good music...nothing overstated, in the guitar playing nor the singing especially, just good melodies and soul...
How can 10 folks not love this tune???? A Classic!!!!
Will always love this!! Was Ronnie 27 when he died too??
I might be old school but that's fine with me,there's no computer system Involved with this sound just plain old school musical magic. It's called "Real"Music.
Love you Ronnie ,wish you were still here making music.
Have been diehard Skynard fan since forever. I love everyone of their songs. They will always be my favorite band. I still a great sadness over the loss of such a talented and amazing band.
Favorite song** Ronnie is terrific. Wish I could have seen them live** 🎶
Ronnie, still singing to us from heaven.
Never be another Ronnie Van Zant
This is my all time favorite band as just like many of other people .... Grew up on this music it never gets old to listen to i dont care what song it is...
The very best in Southern rock!!!
This was good ol' ,rockin roll, red white and blue music . Whoever missed this generation,So SORRY !
Loved the Honkettes too. What a great band.
Billy switching from piano to organ and basically playing the chorus note for note on the organ is simply magical. Gary nailing the intro and ending. Wow.
This was the 2nd concert i went to, didnt realize at the time it would be one of the best and how lucky I was to have been there..Winterland was a special place back in those days...RIP Winterland and the band members in Skynyrd who brought so much great music their
fans..
harmonica version is the one id also love to see live at fox this is also great anytime your listening you essentially become a better being thanx Ronnie and Skynyrd and lcvid
Breathtaking performance by one of the greatest bands of all time. Ronnie was such a powerful singer, and his lyrics came right from the gut. I've read speculation that Tuesday's Gone isn't about love lost, it's about Ronnie's realization that he'd become a rock star and the simple country life he knew and loved was gone forever ... the train was down the tracks, never to return.
RVZ! one of the best contemporary lyricist America has ever know...and never ever wrote a single word down on paper. Composed solely in his head. Brilliant!
...and it's about time the PC Intelligentsia recognize him for his Genius
!
musician and poet great songwriter luv ls
The Greatest band ever!
They were the BEST.... true legends. The world lost some awesome talent the day of that plane crash. RIP guys.
Amen. Gone but never forgotten.

I could not have said it better, The best live band too.
I mourn this day every year.
40yrs. ago this June I saw them in OKC OK. backing up ZZ TOP at the state fairgrounds speedway. I was 18 and it was mind blowing!
Saw them a couple of weeks before they crashed. One of the best concerts ever! Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines, Alan Collins.....R.I.P.

May they all rest in peace !!!!!! Just this one single song means the absolute world to me !!!!!!! What they did is immeasurable !!!!!!!!!!!! I cant say enough about their talent !!!!!!!!

over and over its gets better
The first Skynyrd's song that I first heard back in the 70s. Still listening to the song, and still listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd today, here in rural Borneo. William, Malaysia

These are the most talented guys EVER..
winterland was one if the best venues to see a concert back in the day, my first concert was robin trower with eddie money opening in 1977. Winterland was also where peter frampton recorded frampton comes alive

I just chuckle when people today say oh yah I saw them in 1993
Its aggravating isnt it Clint, and when you tell them its not the same Skynyrd, they say its the same band only different, whatever that means
chance501 amen to both
it means the band has moved on and so should you. you can always listen to the original, but people these days love you tube vids. its close enough for me. cheers
tpp969 what does your reply have to do with what I said. About me moving on, no idea what you mean, because I said its aggravating when somebody is listening to RVZ song and says oh I seen them last year I need to move on. Maybe you should brush up on your math skills. I am fine listening to the original Skynyrd thank you Oh and Cheers
I agree this is the real lynyrd skynrd and people need to know that ! It IS a big deal to loyal fans !
This is my leaving the world song....
