- Yorkshire entrepreneurs Daniel Eha and Matt Cockcroft are seeking an investment of £40,000 in return for a 10% equity stake of their pet food brand which uses a unique process they claim keeps the food as close to raw as possible - but with a virtually limitless shelf life.
An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

They do not understand *risk vs reward*. I would've taken those contacts from Debra Meaden in a heartbeat. You can buy back your stake in the contract or renegotiate if financial milestones are met. Terrible decision at the end from these two. Do you think Bezos finances Amazon all by himself?
I work at Amazon and I remember picking these up for the customers. I think they are doing very well👍🏻

I feed both my dogs Pure pet food and it’s incredible!! I’ve tried lots of different brands, various personalised dog foods, but nothing worked as well as Pure. My dogs both have colitis and Pure solved that. Couldn’t recommend more.

@James Cricket I wish! No I don’t know these people, one of my friends recommended the brand to me, didn’t hear about them previously. I left my comment because I had a lot of issues with my dog’s digestive system and Pure actually got rid of those issues and I’m just incredibly grateful for that. By all means, look me up ☺️ There’s zero connection between them and myself.

£2m turnover to date isn't so great considering their company started trading 8 years ago. That would equate to about £250k turnover a year. Profit would be less than half that. Enough to pay themselves a salary I guess. They should have accepted Deborah's offer.
Mate what are you on about, the guys lives in my street and has moved back in with his mum and he’s working as a Uber driver so don’t know what company you been reading about. Please wish him the best I see him going work 5am and not coming back till the early hours it’s so sad.
I work for pure pet food and the company is ace and I use the Brand for my dog. It has really cleared his sensitive skin and he’s lost lots of weight on the general chicken. Seems the dragons are regretting it
I feed my dog Pure, he loves it AND the customer service is top tier 👌 i love that every person iv spoken to from the company also feeds their own dog Pure

Judging by their business still being open to this day and their online and social media updates, they seem to be doing well with a large range of products. Looks like it paid off for them.

It is the right decision by the lads. Debrah definitely could have catapulted the business very fast. But she had also made clear that some point in time she may have to look at merging her other business with this one, in which case they might become a washed down ownership , if not the minority ownership of the combined business.
Turns out...they did not regret that decision.
Deborah is just being way too greedy here. It's only 40k she should have offered 20% to keep the boys interested.
@@troo_story She would have got at least 5 times her investment back at 20% after 5 years. If she knew the petfood industry as she claims, she woudn't have scuppered the deal. That was a no brainer.

they say it becuase they know they can add so much value, your looking at some of britains wealthiest and most connected individuals some with vast global connections aswell. Its a case of do the entrepreneurs want a bigger piece of the pie at a slower growin business or a smaller pie of a faster growing business. owning 50% of 2 million pound business in 5 years. Or 35% of 6 or 7 million pound business in that same time.

Looking at their financials, they're doing very well. Not many companies have 1.8M pounds in cash on their books.
It looks like the two founders may have stepped down as directors with majority control. I hope they made a good amount before exiting.
But also Peter is right. It's hard to turn that into ten million in this market, which an investor needs. but they're great business men.

Peter and Deborah always help each other out whether both going in together or only one. A few words here, saying how good the other is or saying how bad the product is after the other has made an offer, the help comes in many ways
I watched a clip yesterday where Deborah tried to undercut all the other Dragons but Peter still ended up getting the deal. They may be friends outside of the show but during a pitch it's every Dragon for themselves.

Don’t buy, customer services are bad! They won’t issue customers with a refund when they know the product doesn’t work on all dogs. My dog just won’t eat it no matter what and I’m now over £16 out of pocket! They refuse to even partly refund, the company knows this and that’s why they don’t offer free samples. My aim is to let everyone know what my experience has been like so they can make up their own mind and have others come forward with same issues.
