robert harding Me too buddy. Saw them live in June 1973 which was the week this track this was released. They were my absolute God’s and remain so. Happy days.

I was properly pissed off myself that Geldof didn't get the best live band ever on that bill, what a tragedy. Queen wouldn't have shone so brightly if they had to follow Slade. 💖🎩
I first saw this in the 1970's on one of those late-night rock shows of the era, either "Rock Concert" or "In Concert." Slade had a great look, great sound and even greater energy.
I've seen Zeppelin, Deep Purple and many other live gigs, but Slade were by far the loudest. Great band, should reform and blow everyone else off the stage.
If this film had been released as it was gonna be 8nstead of Flame a year later the Mighty Slade would have still been rockin it out instead of trying to write poxy sixties style twaddle like beatles sounding Flame soundtrack..
To think the show was to be the movie release and hear we all are deaf ol fans and it still hasnt been released..disgusting a real sore point for us lot really when you look at how Brian May Jimmy paige etc can remaster stuff and our band are too lazy to see any point in bothering..sick to me teeth with it all..
J'avais 15 ans quand j'ai écouté la 1ère fois... Avec bientôt 50 en plus... j'aime toujours
What a great band these guys were, Live, or in the studio, still the greatest, I will die knowing I saw the greatest band ever !

I was there! A wonderful night !
Simply the best of the best. No other band came close. Noddy? Was at level superior to any other on the planet
Why Slade were left out of the band aid concert was beyond me at the time,by far the best live band ever, they would have gone down a storm.

So many were so afraid of them performing. That is the reason...

What a fantastic night it was though
