My next question is what if I have to wash the rug or it needs to be carpet clean and with those being on the edges the whole idea was to not have it slip are those non-skid because it looks like a hard plastic that would just be able to maneuver on flooring. Not sure what those "corners" cost, but you can do the same think with a .98cent linoleum square. Cut it in half at a 45 angle and you get two.

How does this compare to a Family Dollar peel and stick vinyl tile? The non-skid is a good point. It does get good reviews on Amazon.

Is your floor bare wood? If it's sealed tape would be just fine
