“The penalty box” lol😂
There are junk yards in Arizona that have just the most beautiful sheet metal I've ever seen in my life
Very good video thank you.Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and joe and your whole family
My 1st car was a 69 impala and I would love to have another! Also I miss places like this! We had some in my part of the country when I was young but they are all gone now! My dad and I used to go and pick one out and he would work on it and drive it home, awsome days!!!
At 3:20, it might of been a rendering truck.
Parts, parts, parts. All sorts of stuff of interest and value.
I don't really see any good builders, but there's still some good parts.
I want that 72 wagon!!
That place has a horror film air about it, I was constantly expecting a zombie or someone with a chainsaw to jump from behind one of those cars.
They did. The chainsaw guy bought one of the vans and the zombie guy was a Vega collector?!?!
A chainsaw may be needed there pretty soon.
Kind of makes me think of scenes from the Walking Dead with all the abandoned vehicles.
great video like seeing more on the 1953 Oldsmobile excited about the 1959 Buick looking forward to a lot more on it a very Merry Christmas and a Happy new year to everyone there may next year be even better for you guys love watching.😊👍👍✌❤🍻
Impala four doors. Love. Them. Thanks
When I see an old salvage yard like that one, I wonder why the owner didn't scrap most of those for the dollars long time ago. For the most part that is all that is left of value. There were more than a few Mavericks there and you made no comment on them. They make a good drag racing vehicle, but I know that is not your interest.
Another amazing treasure trove of classics!.
nothing interesting or of any value, just JUNK..
A dream adventure, really a lot of stuff,
How long will they have been there to be sunk in the ground so much.
Great video, thanks for taking the time to show us.
Would love to have seen the 70 impala wagon with the 400 more up close, cool collection ❤
I have a soft spot for old wagons especially the 69 big block you have
In high school I had a 1970 Chrysler Newport custom brown and white two door! I should have never got rid of it!
the flood got to it all..
Like Joe’s universal door key!
Was that a blue Maverick? Nice 10:49
Really enjoy your programs!! Could I make a suggestion? How about a slide show presentation, with an over dub narration describing each vehicle. Or perhaps do a dry run thru before actually shooting film. Thanks for all your efforts. From a devoted fan.
At 8:41, that poor Mopar was really buried. The front wheel was almost completely gone.
I'm always amazed that these old beaters were not crushed the past 20 years when scrap steel prices were so high. I rarely see a desirable or a collectable vehicle in these videos or tours of old yards on RUclips as I'm sure they were rounded up years ago and removed. You wonder how many of these old yards and the cars in them will remain after the old timer owner pass on.
Drove a 68 Dart as a teen.
I love my volare wagon.
Hope they were reliable cars. I once had a '77 Gran Fury wagon.
I noticed you looked closely at the Valiant which was similar to your mother's one. I spotted another '68 Valiant in sky blue which was converted to a pickup, As shown in your intro video.
all the buses are miss their tall blocks
Too bad....alll junk, to far gone!
Part 1 and Part 2 have a boat load of early 70's Chevys. The yard owner either really liked them or there was a very strong chevy dealer in the area that sold a bunch of new ones in the day.
The closest Chevy dealer is in Elgin; Taylor has a Dodge dealer. There's now a large combination Ford/Chevy dealer about halfway between Taylor and Hutto, but it's relatively new, and probably wasn't in business when the junkyard was still opened. Chevys are popular in Texas, though.
So, what happens to a yard like this?
The old man just died. Probably 90% or more will be crushed. The crusher is there now
As bad as you said the A body Mopars rode and drove, that B210 was probably the worst car I ever drove.
Any chance you know anything about the blue Plymouth duster???
👍👍👍👍
Dam I would like to have that chevelle
Is this actually IN Austin, or in an adjacent county? Several in Williamson County have been out of business for some time; the Thrall school bus indicates that the yard could be closer to Taylor than Austin.
It's near Taylor
A trailer hitch is not a tow bar .
15:29 '72 Townsman? Trim doesn't look like Kingswood
You could get a Bel-air until 1981 in Canada
So true, and Biscayne until 1975 in Canada.
I wanta get me another old square body valiant.
Being consumed by the good earth.
They're all sitting on or in the ground. Probably not a good frame on any of them.
1963-64 buick wagon might be restorable.
1964 was last year for full sized Buick wagons. There were no full sized Buick wagons from '65 to '69.
Buick did resume full sized wagon production in 1970.
1963 Invicta, restore is worth 22K to 77K depending on condition.@@ernielaw
Will he sale any
Can You Buy some Cars in thesse land
Roflmao in the penalty box
Most of them are either junk or have many missing parts...
Why don't you ever address directly in the camera😊😊
When In doubts 👎
The owner is battling 1000. Not a single one salvageable
Doesnt seem to be any rhyme or reason to the placement of the cars
