Quite a collection. Very nice! How much? I think they need it to be v8 for hauling cargo. Here in Texas you're probably going to want that a/c in there to keep things cool, and for the comfort of the driver or any passengers. Good show. 😾
With so many folks opting for the Nomad lifestyle (outfitting Vans & other vehicles) A well maintained, used hearse could be the perfect stealth camping vehicle...
@@BillLaBrie Ok, they ain't exactly stealthy, but you've got a genuinely well maintained, low mileage vehicle with the approximate square footage of a minivan for your build out. But way cooler looking...👍🏁
I suppose you could turn them into mini-camper vans with just somewhere to sleep in the back and some basic camping gear. And everyday you wake up is a bonus!
I have a 1948 packard hearse and we took that partition out and removed the bench seat and put bucket seats in so it really opened it up, great for using as a camper or great for at the home depot getting lumber.
That is a true statement . And all easy driving. I had 2. They ride like a dream . I had a 1959 Buick by Flixable , Packard is the bomb. But hard to maintain . Love them.
Kinda makes you hmmm though. It’s not like hearses have a particularly hard life, unlike cop cars, ambulances etc. Funeral home, staying up with the times? Being trendy? If a hearse is well maintained it could go for a long time, considering that it has a relatively easy life.
@@Martin-ng5br Funeral homes in big cities tend to replace hearses more often, likely because they have to keep up with their competitors. Older hearses that are still in good condition are often sold to funeral homes in small towns.
The Packard is just a Clipper sedan, not a limo. They weren’t appreciated when they came out as the “affordable Packard,” and never made it much beyond used car status.
Saw a dude cruising in his Buick Roadmaster hearse the other day, one of the last big land yachts, had his Halloween skeleton sitting up in the front seat, wearing a seatbelt of course.
Back in high school in the late 70’s, a buddy of mine bought a 65 Cadillac hurst from a local mortuary. Very low mileage and meticulously maintained it was a great vehicle. We’d grab our girlfriends and jump in the back and he’d drive us around town. Good times.
Cool 👍🤓👍. Can ya see all the van life people going to hurses?? 😂 You might not be alone😁. Ya might have a few spirits left behind😮..could be. It would make a sweet camper vehicle 👍🤓 thanks for sharing Naomi. Happy Thanksgiving
When the Packard limo was new it cost major money. A Cadillac limo in 1940 was $6000. That was a rich man's car or it belonged to a funeral home or most likely the Catholic Arch Diocese.
The Packard isn't a hearse but cool to see. I have a real 1948 Packard Henney hearse called Widowmaker that has a few changes that will make the purest cringe but i did save all the parts for whoever is the next caretaker when I take my final ride.
I believe it's Bryan, OH. "Murray's Cool Cars". Definitely "dealer prices" there. I bought a '93 in Indiana and drove it 40 miles home without issue, and paid asking price of $2,800. BUT, I've got some repairs to do.@@NaomisAdventures
Can you please tell me where that car lot with all the cars are. I would like to buy one or more of them ? Hwy 2 and hwy 34 is around the Cider Point area... Or Liberty area.?
That’s cool Naomi 👍 I don’t know how close you are from moundsville prison in West Virginia but every October (I believe that’s the month) they do a hearse car show 👍👍👍
I have a 1948 packard hearse and you have 2 groups of people. half the people are all over it wanting pictures and the other half they want nothing to do with you or your car, they cannot get away fast enough..
@@steveherr450 We have a '58 Chevy sedan delivery , I'm constantly having to convince people that it's about four feet too short to be a hearse , not to mention that it only has three doors , not five .
I did get spooked once with my hearse. when it came home the first day it went right into the shop and that night i was cleaning it out and had the back door open. no one around , close to midnight just listening to the music, mind spacing it, just getting into my work. well anyways i got close to the back door and i was just about ready to pull up the fabric off the floor and i felt a tap on my head! i jumped like a mexican jumping bean. turned out my shop cat was on the roof and when i got close to the back door she reached over and bopped me in the head. i was so into what i was doing, never heard her go up there.
What awesome cars. They all had such character. Cars these days are so bland. Thanks for stopping and filming this it was really interesting, cheers

Amazing Classic Cars... Thanks for sharing this amazing video of yours. Love it!
That Lincoln Mark V Arrow is a real automotive oddball! I've never seen one in person.

Hello from Naples, Florida. Now, that was interesting. A hearse parking lot. Thanks for sharing with us, have a great week 💯
For the record Hearses have incredible engines, they have been pampered and never really driven hard. Cool strong cars… Yes I owned a few.
That tombstone Packard was sweet.

Fun checking them out. I liked the rare Lincoln mark5 convertible. Where is this at ?
This is on East High Street in Bryan, Ohio Murray's Cool Cars. The lot has unique cars and lots of hearses available all the time.....
