Some peoples hard music I can give them slack for if they mess up a tiny bit and that was a tiny bit to me... I wish to be able to have the technique for this song down with my pinky being faster. Just because the intro is hybrid picked doesn't mean it will be easier for some to play, Mario did use his pinky which may take a long time for some to get fastwe. Even in Flamenco the pinky is hardly used, but with hybrid picking, getting it stronger could open up lots of new possibilities.

@@MultiAlerocks hybrid picking is harder when you're new to it. But if you practice hybrid picking chords it helps a lot, well it did with me. Try learning "Nayhoo" by Chon its a really good song to practice hybrid picking.

The golden pedal Mario uses is called Morning Glory from JHS pedals and in another video (also playing Rosewood) he was using Ghost Echo from Earthquaker Devices. I think The Warden from ED should be there as well.

Does anyone know what drum head Nathan is using on that SLP 13x7?
They're kinda fast on this one. The studio version is almost 4 mins
The studio version ends at around 2 minutes and 40 seconds. Then there's a whole minute of heavily filtered guitar and drums that didn't get played here. It's about the same speed.

Erick is so good. I think he carries chon. He plays with a super bright tone while being way more crucial for the rhythm than Mario's parts.
Dude mario is the cleaner player, and also plays ryhthm at times, erick is a great player, but hes clearly not as skilled a player as mario is here. He made many mistakes.
Wut… Erick is great but Mario is why Chon is/was big. His hybrid picking with every finger is top top tier and every catchy chon chorus is a Mario lick
