Perfect song for beginners.
Adhitya Resna if there are any guitar teachers give your students this song for music theory hehe
@@jameslyddall sarcasm?
@CanCer no it's sarcasm
Kkkkkkkk Awesome.... ...... ; (
Absolutely! I mean..
Playing technical djent
With 7 strings..
On classical guitar..
Javier: Master of every guitar technique that exists.
Tosin: Master of every guitar technique that DOESN'T exist.
This is gold
Actually tho 😂 it's even better because you can totally see how they've learned to feed off each others' style over the years
You have to break your right thumb first to play any Tosin's part
So well put. :))))
LMAO
Tosin's playing is awesome, but Javier owned the song
Roco Cerecer aid love Javier to do his own spanish guitar style album. Theres two videos of him on youtube playing spanish guitar and its so peaceful to listen to.
Well, he actually has a group, Mestis, whos full of those sweet clean tones
the way tosin looked at him at 1:58 lol
@@mightycabbage does tosin have a side band like javier? Or is AAL Tosins band
@@anthonyjones3835 he used to it was called tram. Javier was part of it though. It was more jazz based.
It’s crazy how you can hear javier’s technical experience with classical guitar. His tone is incredible and his dexterity and ability to limit string noise is blowing me away!
That guy's got absolute control over the instrument with no effort. I always was amazed by them, but now even more if that's even possible.
Javier's playing was tight as hell. That's pro level for ya! :D
You can tell he really knows what he’s doing by his right hand technique. Incredibly bent, controlled fingers.
...What he said.
It's a nylon guitar not a classical guitar .. and yes javier is a gifted man , bless ya ll !
Javier's beard is fantastic.
Right?! The lack of appreciation bothers me. It's literally perfect
Very ancient greekish tbh haha. A God for sure
Javier is criminally underrated. His playing is flawless and his technique is so tight and effortless.
Javier is so bad ass
1:53 Virgin Tosin vs Chad Javier with the picking style lmao
Could have been a tone choice, foo
I was indeed thinking Javier has an overall better technique than Tosin when it comes to classical guitar picking.
Tosin is no slouch when it comes to finger picking...he studied classical guitar in college.
Javier studied classical *and* flamenco for *many* years. His picado and rasgueo techniques are obviously going to be more polished than Tosin's.
They're both phenomenal musicians and human beings either way.🙌🏾❤
Chaz Teal watching these guys is always is inspiring
Virgin comparing 2 guitarists vs Chad 2 masters of their craft making great music
Javier's technique is insane
I love how this song just sounds weird the first time you listen to it then you realize just how unbelievably good it is after a few more listens
It's not good, it's perfect
@@prodbyjeremiah97 I stand corrected :D
lol took the words out of my mouth
Most of AAL are exactly like that, probably it's because the tempo is always broken
Can't confirm, sounded amazing right from the start, but I did hear playing god a million times before and that has a very similar vibe. Would not be surprised if Tim was in part influenced by this amazing performance.
I absolutely love Javier's latin influence in AAL.
You should check out Shubh Saran if you like Indian music fused with jazz rock fusion. The Indian flavor just adds so much spice. Also a good recommendation if you want more time signatures, but also generally more chill grooves.
I feel like this song is so severely underrated for the live setlist
i think it's just impractical to bring on tour 2 classic guitars that are being used just for this song.
@@Stefanofazio98 They played it in Anaheim at the Observatory on their second time through on the Joy of Motion tour, it was awesome. They actually played almost all the songs on the album they didn't play the first time.
I saw them play it for their 10th anniversary tour, tosin had that guitar on a stand next to him and switched for it.
Oof, Javier is putting on a show here. I'm going to be watching this one for years.
Still watching!
@@oh033 me too!
Great warm up before smoke on the water
They're quite a team.
OMG, they still can djenting with classical guitar
*Grandpa guitars
I'll slap my nan for every day that passes without an Apeirophobia playthrough
This! I want one so bad.
I hope your nan slaps you back. Just like Tosin slaps that guitar
2:37 my favorite part
it's like math rock but better :)
spanish flamenco breakdown
Lydian
JAVIER FLEXIN' ON US
Animals as leaders reminds us that in the chaos and trial that is life, there is always beauty to behold.
Wouldn’t it be great if AAL did an all acoustic album or EP at some point?
i wish they'd play apeirophobia live
@@harshgarrettto be fair that song is fucking crazy, I wonder if they ever really practice it.
dude they're AAL all their songs are crazy hahaha@@tiaraguy7705
Hopin for an acoustic/unplugged AAL album since 2012... Still got faith!
I'll add a new Mestis album to this wish. (If you don't know Mestis, you're welcome for introducing you. It's Javier's solo project.)
Seeing Tosin playing a classical guitar really puts things in perspective as far as his style/influences go.
God, the nylon strings lend themselves so well to this song.
The way Javier flicks those fingers while playing some chords, beautiful!
A beautiful Dual the two together make. Pushing and inspiring one another while opening the windows for us all to watch. \m/
Djamenco = Djent + Flamenco
I was thinking djazzical
Fladjenco?
Pretty good, I’m not a fan of the vocals though
I know right, the vocals always annoy me too
at least the lyrics are decent
[insert obligatory shitty response completely not understanding the humor behind it] [Reply to your response with an insult to belittle you cause i'm better]
Really poor written lyrics.
The vocals in this song are fuckings
best outro in the history of music.
I was waiting for that outro... It is so beautiful! :-)
This is on the level of some genius classical music. Unbelievable.
1:08 That´s what I call feel the music
2:21 My favorite phrase in the entire song
I saw Javier perform for his project Mestis in Montreal some 5 years ago, no words.
This song is really underappreciated.
This is the most I ever enjoyed animals as leaders 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
listen to their second album
I really love Tosin, but Javier is a badass guitarist as well and constantly overlooked.
Absolutely amazing
Is this even legal?
No they are playing from tesseract jail
In most countries... No....
Shhhh
Gorgeous guitars, playing on point: good job Animals!
genuinely such a beautiful song
SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL
Two brothers performing i love it!
Sounds magic!!
Oops, I almost forgot to watch this today.
What a Beautiful song.
This is superb.love this band man...... but damn that added solo was just right and fit nicely .love this arrangement
The outro is what heaven sounds like
Love seeing Tosin play classical guitar don't want to miss out on any videos
Amazing🥴 my favorite animals song ever, and perhaps my favorite song ever!
I am in love with these guys.
Those are some gorgeous acoustic guitars
absolutely beatuiful
I don’t think I have ever seen both Javier and tosin play acoustic together. Always a treat to watch you guys play.
One of the best songs on the joy of motion
Tosin: [ I'm Chillin' ][ I'm Trying Hard ]
Javier: [ I'm Chillin' ]
So so good on those guitars.
Javier sounds sooo clean. It's just absurd!
MASTERPIECE
I will try to play it by watching a lot of cover versions and by using my ears 🎸🔥.
Love love love
I love Fishman piezo pickups, my acoustic Ibanez came equipped with Fishman this is the best sounding guitar that I ever heard! Big bows to the engineers, great work! Keep on doing what you are doing
This is ridiculously good
Man that LTD though! Stellar playing as always guys keep pushing music to it's limits
Always love seeing an esp Ltd being played. I never knew they had a classical 7 string that's pretty dope
Awesome!
javier is crazy good
This is the best song ever.
So cool
Javier is so good!
What a vibe
My fav to play along on my cajon!
This is insane..wow!
Javier’s like that uncle I never had.
I love the lyrics....
ESP: PLEASE release to the marketplace the 7 string that Javier is playing in this video.
Lucas Deet pretty sure that’s an LTD dude.
Aye, if ESP doesn't come through you could always try Kremona or Agile.
@@survivalstyle9228 ESP owns LTD
Ortega
you can buy it.
That outro brings us somewhere everytime
Javier Reyes rocks on this song!!
How fun it may be to play
I usually go to polyphia playing God then come here to finish off.
Mind blown
Reyes y Abasi as leaders!!!!
Amazing
...is Javier’s beard.
Christopher Montenegro I know right
Its the perfect shape.
Defying gravity...loool
It's got a life of its own...
I am looking at real masters of their profession here aren't I?
Reyes guitar is beautiful
Le duo infernal
Javier Reyes is King!
amazing this to f...
Javiers guitar is such a beauty
I just wish the song faded out on that last part for like, a couple more hours.
Javier djenting on an acoustic is the best thing i saw today
Wow that vocal lyric it's heart breaking..
The embodiment of synergy.
Deftones' Steph Carpenter: 😐 *goes back to 6 string*
😂😂😂
Also can't ignore the insane talent of Matt on drums on this song. 👏
beutiful
Yeah is that the nicest beard of all time?
WE NEED AN ACOUSTIC PLAYTHROUGH
It's music like this that makes me never want to learn guitar. I never want to lose the magic of listening to something this amazing. Once you know the magician's secrets, the magic goes away and is replaced by technique, that is something I would never dream of doing to myself because of music like this. Makes me want to cry. Amazing work.
I wouldn't let that stop you, if you really want to learn guitar. I've been playing over 20 years and although some of the magic goes away, you have a deeper appreciation in the long run.
It makes me so happy people who don’t play guitar listen to AAL . I didn’t know they exist.
@@joshalicea9870 I’ve played drums my whole life though, Matt Garstka is an absolute fucking BEAST dude
@@firkinja oh nvm your a drummer you get it LOL . Yes Matt Garstka is a beast. I wonder if someone who doesn’t play any kind of instrument could dig AAL
Bro if you learn guitar this becomes even more unfathomable
No one is talking about how well synced they are…
god i love that chon part
Javier como pez en el agua, 🐟 Tosin...carajo con esta plumillita! 😬
