The finish on that ESP is gorgeous.
Its amazing. I can't seem to find where to get one with that finish though.

Javier is the reason I want an 8 string guitar, not to djent but to play things like this, I get instant goosebumps whenever I hear anything from Mestis
Mestis is one of the best prog bands in the history of prog. I have been a huge fan of them since 2015, when the first release came out. You can hear what Javier brings to the table in AAL, in all of the music of Mestis. Tosin Abasi is an AMAZING guitar player, BUUUUUUUUUUUT AAL is nothing without Javier!

Since the first time i heard Sedosa and MediaNoche i've been obsessed. Many months later, i can hear it in my head for no particular reason, and i ended up listening to the full Eikasia album. It's been on a loop ever since. For me that's the sign of a great songwriter. Criminally underrated, i'm about to dive in on the other albums, i have a feeling i won't regret it at all
I love sensibility and creativity of this man, have a latin soul, he is a guitar master ever
Javier Tosin and Matt have all got to be musicians of this generation. I can not get over how individually talented each one is in their own rights and how well they mesh together...

Tosin is an awesome player and javier and tosin compliment each other well I'm glad though to see javier get some much deserved love he deserves it.

Easily my favorite release from Javier. This ep was so smooth; each song just as good as the next. Every melody and rhythm like a breath of fresh air.
The slight slide/tremolo thing that he does at 0:53 makes my brain burst in satisfaction. I don't know why, but the subtlety and sophistication that it conveys to me is out of this world, plus the fact that it makes it sound more vivid, organic, than the studio version.

Is there anything that Tosin, Javier, or Matt touch that doesn't turn to gold? Like, damn... they continue to challenge ME as a listener to broaden my horizons, which is really something. It's one thing to "play a range of styles," but these 3 guys, whether together, solo, or part of collaborations with other musicians... I can't even really put it into words. I'm not sure there's a genre of music that I wouldn't want to hear these fellas play, because I know they would absolutely crush it.
