Their are 5 things I love about Epic
1. Jay Rivera. He was the creator & the main in Epic & he's done a top notch job in creating this all my love is sent to him
2. The Music. It's one of the only things that keep me happy during tough times and quite frankly through high school
3. The Voice Actors/Singers. they've done such an amazing job into making Epic a reality
4. The Storyline. The Storyline was so perfectly crafted, even though most of this stuff didn't really happen, it shows a great amount of emotion in it.
5. The Animations. People take their time to create these animations & tbh I would've been lost without them, but some special love to GIGI!!! For making all these amazing Epic Animations!!!💖💖💙💙

I absolutely love Eury's response to Ody. "If you want all the power you must carry all the blame!" The dude is flat out saying that yes, he would do the same and he'd expect Ody to react the same way. The hypocrisy of this man is incredibly shown. He's just angry that he happened and he's just acting out irrationally. A man who's at his wit's end and can no longer stand it.
I like how Odysseus pretty much kicks Eurylochus’ ass and only losses after being litterally stabbed in the back.

In all seriousness, I have so much respect for Gigi!! Animation is so difficult, especially with different camera angles
I love the detail that Eurylochus doesn’t land a single hit on Odysseus himself, and that it’s a member of the crew who stabs him from behind while he’s focused on fighting Eurylochus. It really illustrates how Odysseus became blinded by his own personal battles and his desire to get home, and neglected the crew as a result; meanwhile, Eurylochus couldn’t have taken on Odysseus on his own, but his actions gained him the support of the crew, which allowed him to win the duel.
Also kind of feels like a callback to Different Beast in a way… “But while you were so focused on turning my men into snacks… you didn’t notice that your friends got snatched”. While you were focused on your own fight, you didn’t notice that your men turned against you.
I LOVE THE FIGHT SCENE
This is a great animatic. And I seriously can’t believe how much Jay’s acting has evolved since the clip of this on the beach. Well done.

Okay I love the detail of how throughout Gigi's animatics, we've known Eury is taller and buffer than Ody, but it's always been played as a caring/concerned perspective, like a brother. Now, that'd completely shifted over to more hostile, and the height difference is emphasised to show just how much anger has been building up on Eury's end. The power of perspective 👌🏽
I want to see a live version of this musical, but I really think animations is the medium that will do the ‘epic ness’ of it all justice personally
