      On easy the ai shouldn't use upgrades, on normal it will use some, on hard it can use all, and on brutal it should prioritize upgrading.

    How about adding cavalry? Could probably best be done as a unit that behaves like a tank i.e. continues to advance and doesn't enter trenches, but faster, cheaper, and weaker - better suited as an early game option or against an infantry-focused opponent. I wonder if unlike tanks it would be possible to let cavalry wait at base until ordered forward, to allow the player to build up the numbers for an effective charge?

      Cavalry is only effective in number, one single horseman would be destroyed by a line of riflemans.
      A good idea anyways.

    There are 12 things I would like to see:
    1: Strafing and Bombing runs from planes
    2: Engineers that build bard wire and fix’s the sandbags
    3: Medics that heal units
    4: Mortars that are like small artillery
    5: Cavalry charges that charge in with swords and revolvers and there are 5 in 1 charge
    6: More countries
    7: Armoured cars
    8: Infantry squares were infantry line up and fire like early ww1 and before
    9: Troop selection where you can select what troops go instead of all
    10: Veteran units where they are regular units but have better attack speed and survivability
    11: Have only America have shotguns
    12: The ability for Riflemen to stab each other with bayonets

    Three ideas
    First that each faction has his own advantages and disadvantages like the russians have more infantry production and more money generation but can't produce tanks or the germans have a regulated gameplay like standard
    The second idea is that the tanks when they die they have a explosion animation instead of just die
    The third idea is that you add a fog of war effect and you do not know the enemy defenses so you need to send airplane recoinesance and have air superiority, something like that.

    Morale effect , constantly sending your men into fights with small amount of forces and bad equipment lowers their morale , to make morale higher you can send bigger waves of infantry , support them with armored vehicles, give them beer (that fixes every problem trust me) or like add holidays that randomly happen in a match and you have the option to let your soldiers celebrate or not , celebrating a holiday reduces all stats and you can't attack but it increases morale by a lot , both sides can celebrate during a holiday and there will be a small period of truce

    I think you should add medics.Were the surrounding area of the medic heals the units near by and the medics have less health but more stamina.Also have a arm band or a diffrent helmet.

    French special unit idea:
    Foreign Legion: When you buy one, it’s spawns 3, they have a bit more health/can take more damage and can deal slightly more damage

    I suggest, the multiplayer mode and Austro-Hungarian, that will be defensive based Nation (for example, they would have a trench upgrade with dug-in Cannon or Machinę gum tank)

    If you want to add defences, why not make barbed wire be able to be bought infront of your trench, the more you upgrade it the more barbed wire you get

    Can you make the German trench machine gun an Mg-06 and maybe also retexture the French mobile machine gun to be a Chauchat?

    Increase the health of all tanks, currently in the end game the tanks are getting shredded by the infantry and it's hard to get any tanks in the early game which is when they are pretty useful. Alternatively, decrease damage dealt to tanks by infantry. As of now a heavy tank can get easily taken out by a few infantry units in a trench, which is in my opinion an absurd considering that it costs around 500 cash and a medal.

    What if some factions had passive buffs to certain units as well, like Germany gets cheaper unlocks for snipers and flamethrowers because they were the first to use them

    I think it be cool to have a engineer unit that increases the firing speed of machine gun turrets and tanks. And passively heals them.

    Something that slowes the enemy when crossing nomans land would be good for the artilary cause at this point there it is really hard to position artilary to effectivly strike moving units so you mainly use artilary at trenches, not really historically acurate

    Add it to when you take a trench, you're given a choice of how you want the layout to be, certain ones will increase Defense while another could increase Offense.
    Defensive Trenches are backed with Barbed Wire, Pillboxes, and a new Trench upgrade stage. (solid concrete)
    Offensive Trenches are backed with Mortars, Landmines, and Gas Barrels that can be used once, or a standard trench which the game already has.
    These new trenches would also have to be resupplied to use their abilities. (repair barbed wire, and resupply gas barrels)

      I don't think landmines would fit into the offensive trench, that would be more defensive. The mortars, and gas barrels are really cool though

    I think one good change could be making the normal infantry do very little damage to tanks and for countering tanks you can change the machine gun upgrade for the trenches be a machine gun or a field cannon that does high damage to tanks but low damage to infantry. an other thing you can add for countering tanks could be RPG troopers or making some troops have a anti tank grenade upgrade.

    I love hearing landmines as a potential thing coming. I mentioned them in my Steam review and the comments ( not saying im the reason they might be added) but they would make a nice defensive thing. Also with barbed wire would be cool

    2 Ideas here real quick
    1. Add smoke grenades, whether they are only for specific units, or they are researched off of normal grenades, they would be awesome. YOu can throw them out ahead of a fight to cover your movement or reduce the aim of the enemy units.
    2. Strafing runs. Would be similar to the artillery barrage, but would go horizontal across the screen and be machine gun fire from a plane. Would be a unique special attack as it would be going a long ways, I imagine it'd be most used for defending against an enemy push while they're in no mans land

    I suggest that you can select the people you want to attack with so you can choose to let half the Army attack so you keep a defence in the trench. Or you can move a part of the Army back so if a bomb land they wont all die.

    Idea: Semi-Automatic rifles global upgrade (global means for all factions). It would be one of the if not the most expansive upgrade in the tech tree but it would substantially increase both the firerate and accuracy of the rifleman.

    In stickman trenches you should add maybe a first person mode were you can be a unit of you choice like green army men maybe third person mode as well

    Idea: how about every hole in the ground from artillery can be used as temporary, also a early form of a bazookas was used at Aberdeen providing ground, but the project had to be put at a halt until ww2.

    I have been playing the game more, and while i have found it really quite fun. Two things I have found is, I rarely end up feeling like research is worth medals, and that maybe a separate rogue-like research tree would be better? Like what Bloons TD-6 has. Similarly, for replay value being able to switch out different troops or upgrade units into new units would add so much to the game. Like even a choice of conscript rifles, armoured rifles, marching rifles, sprinting rifles, scoped rifles, or elite rifles would make the game so much better. Each having slight different stats, respawn time and appearance. Each faction may also do better with certain rifle types, Britain may get large defensive buffs from using marching rifles, while Germany gets large offensive buffs from Elite rifles. France Elite rifles might repair tanks when close by.

    Idea: Add bridges. The bridges could be build by the player/enemy when both the trench before and after the river is controlled, some maps could start with bridges already build, a bridge could be destroyed using artillery. If an engineer unit is ever added it could be responsible for building bridges.

      Extending off this, perhaps tanks would move faster across trenches/rivers with bridges, or tanks would move slower across trenches/rivers without bridges, like how infantry move slower across water.

      Also, perhaps engineers could build connecting trenches to allow for faster and safer movement of troops to your frontline, and safer retreat; however, you can't connect trenches if a river is between them. Engineers could also maybe build sap post allowing you to detect if the enemy is about to use artillery. Sap and connecting trenches could also be destroyed once the enemy takes the trench, like machine gun nests.

    I feel like the flamethrower tank should have slightly longer range. It would also be cool if the guns on the tanks or just all of the units in general actually aimed at the thing they're shooting at.

    Maybe add:
    -Tank traps that could slow down or even damage tanks
    -Mountain terrain this could be a defensive tile that slows troops and significantly slows down tanks
    -Gas mask 2 that can act a bit like body armour
    -A machete to act like a melee weapon

    Loved the video @Baron! Can't wait for the next video man! The New A7V Flammpanzer looks so cool on the Battlefield, although I wouldn't just use the Stormtroopers with it or the Normal Tanks. I'd have the Stormtroopers mixed in with the Riflemen, Machine Gunners and Officers so that there is a High Possibility of the Charge (or Trench Raid) is Successful. If I can hold out for a Few Waves, I'll go ahead and Send in some Tanks if I've got them and the Funds to do so and let the Grenades and K-Bullets fly until the Tanks get to the Frontlines, at which point I'll let them take the Lead in a Nice Sized Push for the Enemy HQ.
    As for some future Update Ideas, I have 3 which I mentioned in the last video.
    • You should be able to get More Money (and the Occasional Medals Crate) the More you Upgrade your Base. So if you make it a Level 2, you'll be bringing in more than what you'd make if it was Level 1.
    • The Germans (and Everyone Else) could probably be able to use "Captured" Tanks. When a Tank is "Destroyed", there is a Chance that it can be Used against the Nation of it's origin. The only thing to Balance that out would be not only would you be Limited to how many you have "Captured", but they can't be used Immediately upon Capture but can be used starting in the next game.
    • For New Factions, we could have the United States of America come in (after the Germans sunk the Lusitania, even though they did warn the General Public not to board her since she was carrying War Material to Europe) and be the Economy Focused Nation with the Marines as their Elite Units and the Russian Empire as the Mass Conscription Faction with Cossacks (Cavalry) as Their Elite Units.

    How about adding something that can make you repair your trench, because I always see that when the enemy hit an artillery on the trench, sand bags come missing and you can't really do anything about it.

    Perhaps you could add a mode where you could create the trenches? Like in the early war, the trenches weren’t already there, so maybe the player could order units to dig in.

    I think that buffing the tanks would be better. The tanks were really good in ww1 and i think that it should reflect that in game. The dps of trenches is just too much for tanks to handle, so i suggest that the tanks should recive a bullet resistance. Making it a triangle of Artillery beats tank, tank beats infantry, and infantry beats artillery.

    What about a massive pvp mode in the future, there would be a "clan/alliance (ideas are open)" capital where you would passively produce resources like wood, stone and gold. This would also be the main research centre. There would be pre-existing villages, quarries, lumberyards ect which would produce their respective resources. In villages you could build barracks, tank plants, chemical compounds, artillery factories ect.

    I for sure think the game could benefit from something like grenadiers and light infantry, also functional bayonets, that could definitely create some better charges for sure

    New unit idea for all countries: cavalry, the cavalry uses a spear but you can upgrade it to use either a pistol or a rifle, it’s the fastest unit in the game and can’t capture trenches

    UPDATE IDEA : so this is my first comment on your videos and my idea is . Since in WW1 thay would contact there trenchs to one another by carrier trenchs to move treachs and letters come one treach to the other without the risk of being shot so what if whenever you take another treanch then a carrier treach will aper for that side and when it is retaken the carrier treachs desapers and moves to the other side depending on witch team holds the treanch

    I dont know if you'll see this but I thought adding trenchfoot so if units stay too long in trenches they start taking damage over time and the boots upgrade can stop/slow it and trench upgrades can aswell because they add planks and concrete to concrete on so the mud and frost doesn't affect their feet.

    Ad wind into the game the wind can effect the speed of troops and can send poisonous gas back on your own trenches or can hit multiple of the enemy trenches also ad a weather prediction upgrade into the tech tree and make it so the time of day and weather can change throughout the game.

    Hey, I think I have an idea. What if there is a tactics tech tree so you can stop your troops in no man's land, etc., and maybe a tech tree for defense, for example, you Research tiers for your trenches and base, etc.? I'm just saying I get it is hard to make work Making games is hard in general.

    What if there was a russian faction? Here's my proposal:
    Pistol unit:
    They have low health and a Makarov for weaponry, yet are the fastest unit and are spammable and only cost ~50 bucks.
    Passive:
    15% faster unit cooldowns
    Tech tree:
    T1 - 10% faster cooldowns "Strength In Numbers"
    T2 - 5% chance to dodge bullet
    T3 - Pistol spawns twice

    Unlock cost: 10 medals
    Price per unit: 5 medals
    Upgrades: Can carry stormtroopers (only germany), Can be upgraded to go through water
    Survivability: 4x the health of heavy tank, normal bullets do 0 damage, grenades do 50% damage as well as artillery and cannons.
    Weapons: 1 cannon on a turret that does the same damage as a direct artillery hit, 2 normal casemate cannons, 3 machine guns.
    Other: Carries 5 soldiers, can be upgraded by the germans to use stormtroopers.
    Weaknesses: 1/4th the speed of a heavy tank, gas can kill the internal troops, flames can burn the tracks and stop it from moving for 5 seconds,
    Cannot move at all in water unless upgraded to.
    Hope this ain't too OP.

    Something which I think would be interesting to add is…
    Maybe some cool animations with the back line artillery so like when you call an artillery, it shows the stick men in a animation, loading the artillery and firing it

    New country idea: the United States, its special ability is lazy dog air strikes (little spikes dropped from a plane) it would be devastating against infantry and do little damage to tanks, it can’t damage upgraded trenches, its passive could be the units could cost less stars

    Ok what about adding usa? And some more ideas ill list:
    Fast rifleman and shotgunner spawn rate (since they had alot of manpower) research tree that unlocks a melee charge at the enemy .
    Shell shock:
    Example:creeping barrage has a 20% chance to shell shock units and artillery barrage has a 9% chance of making a troop shell shocked (this only applies If the bombard misses the troop).
    Shell shock would make a troop slower and has a 5% chance that the troop refuses to charge when ordered, activating a scared animation and would also have an research tree to increase shell shock resistance
    Trench defenses.
    An option to make bunkers to defend against artillery or something.
    Campaings or historical battles that would have cutscenes like the hundred days offensive or the spring offensive, the battle of verdun, battle of the somme, and many others.
    Thats all the ideas i have!

    Add russian faction it would have 2 unique unit armored cars and train artillery because the russian in ww1 had some armored trains i think it wold fire really fast and a lot of (not acurate and low damage) projectiles and the passive if u want will be that will have more reduction to gas damage because in the charge of the deads (a battle between germany and russia) they survived the gas using clot and actually won the battle scaring the germans that already had tough they won even if underequipped and hadd snow terraon pls ;)

    I think that is would be neat if the Germans had an exclusive upgrade where they could take cover from artillery before it hits. I think this would make sense because the Germans had better trenches during WW1.

    hey maybe you can make a extra long map with on each side 2 trenches just out of range of each other and that in that map you can make these little machine gun nests in no-man's-land.

    I just played the 1st map on hard difficulty... I won after more than 200minutes!
    The thing I found is that if you go full tanks (I played the French) the AI doesn't fortify much, they just produce lot of troops and shoot artillery to take out tanks.
    When you produce infantries, the AI fortify trenches.
    The biggest issue I had was that, the base fully upgraded can't fall with 3 tanks attacking head on and with 25 troops. It's a bit too OP in my opinion (especially the fact that the base health regenerate). It's so OP that even the AI knows it, I did kind of say "f*ck off, I'll let the AI destroy me, and barely do anything for 5 minutes" and the AI didn't attack my fully upgraded base with one fully upgraded machine gun with 1 infantry in my closest trench.

    Suggestion new death animations artillery hits and legs go flying probably no blood stickmen taking heavy shots from machine gunners get knocked back and flung a bit

    you should add fog of war which prevents artillery from attacking in the fog of war. it could also stop you seeing the enemies unit. you could add an officer research thing which shrinks the size of the fog of war from 1 trench away to 2 trenches away. also you could make it so that the machine gunner on the trenches moves up to the trench on the front line after it is secured

    One thing that you should really add is adding some more natural trenches and sandbags, currently the trenches go straight as an arrow and the sandbags have an obvious pattern. This in my opinion ruins the look a bit and can big fixed with some variety

    If you guys add Russia I think they should focus on mass infantry, while Germany has elite infantry Russia would just pour as many guys at the enemy as possible

    Ok I know this sounds ridiculous, but what if you add an Italy faction. And in said Italy faction, you have the "Arditi", heavily armored units that could storm through the battlefield with heavy machine guns and steel plate. Slow but devastating troops that can take a beating, but take a while to traverse the landscape. In the Italian's special tree, you can upgrade these units and choose different paths. You can either downgrade their armor in replacement for a heavier firing machine gun, or you can upgrade their armor, but they would move even slower. I also think that you could potentially add planes to other factions that would occasionally dive down and blast both sides of the battlefield. (Speaking of battlefield, I got the "Arditi" from battlefield 1, I just think their cool & would be a neat little gimmick for the Italian faction, just think of them as a super light version of a tank xd)

    You should add " The Swiss Bank " which gives you medals and Stars, but next time you play the bank takes the amount of stars/medals you took due to interest rate.

    Idea:
    When the tank gets destroyed there could be an animation where the crew jumps out the back and heads back to base however the enemy snipers can kill them while they are running across no man’s land.

    You should be able to have multiple different types of Trenches for example so you could have a tank repair station at one view trenches

    have trench combat so normal units storm the trench and do mealy combat but chosen units hold back and provide support .
    also have different Countries have deferent units and stats.
    as in
    only the Americans had shot guns and they had great small arms so make them better at Assaulting.
    only the Germans had flamethrowers butt they only had a few tanks so make them more expensive.
    the British had the best bolt action rifle of ww1 and they had lots of tanks so make infantry fire faster and tanks cheaper for them.
    the French had bad mgs and tanks butt were the best at defending so take that into consideration.
    the Russa had lots of men so Maby cheap infantry.
    also please have reparable trenches and tone down artillery.
    PS read sid mieirs memoir the creator of the civilization games he has a lot of good advice for fellow game creators like you.
    PPS The French historically actually had with the excepetion of the renult the worst tanks of ww1 look it up.

    Baron, please, this is my 5th time asking for medics! Let me explain, When a soldier is hit badly they have a chance to live or die, if they do live they start to crawl on the ground. If you have a medic in your trench, the medic will go out, drag the wounded troop back to the trench, and heal him. If a soldier is left too long, they die. The medics cannot be killed for it is a war crime. There can be an upgrade for the medics so that when you get 2 medics out, they form into one and make a stretcher. Stretchers are faster than normal medics. Another upgrade might be better medical supplies, you can upgrade how long it takes for troops to be healed so that you can get more troops out. Also, you could try to add the Ottoman Empire, Russia and Austria/Hungary. Please add them, it’s my 5th time asking.

    how about you ad moral?? for instance when you capture a enemy trench your units get a buff but if the enemy capture
    your trench you get a debuff

    You can add like a special difficulty where the player can make some ajustements like no cool-downs or infinite money etc…

    Hey buddy! 3 ideas:
    1.for all factions new class of infantry:
    Heavy infantry! There should be an exchange button right near the 5th infantry section and when pressed it will unlock the menu of the heavy infantry pressing again takes it back to normal infantry! Heavy infantry are these that I could think:
    Mini gunner,rocketeer and shield guy (you name it I just said it shield guy)
    2.French medium tank must be named heavy and CHAR2C (please tell if did write it correctly) must be named super heavy
    3.CHAR2C must cost 1000/2 and it must have WAAAAAAAAAAY higher health and it’s back side machine gun could turn front and fire when on fight

    Make jeeps so when you spawn an officer has a 80% chance to spawn with a squad and then a 20% chance to spawn a Hmg on there car.

    You should add bunkers to the trench that spawn troops every 30 seconds
