Brandon Birgani this is the best stick for around 80$, if i have 80$ to spend, i will pick this one. Sometimes the other 2 goes on sale for around 50$. If the drone is 50, i will buy the drone, but they raised the price, so its not as a good value
The F300 was the first fightstick I ever bought, and I got it to learn on and so I could mod it if I wanted to. I learned so much on that thing, and I still have it. It's great that Mayflash is giving people the option to do it both ways. You're awesome for showing them some love!
I bought this stick after watching your review and am very happy with it. So much better playing arcade games with this than what I was using before. Thank you! Your channel has some of the best arcade stick reviews I've come across.
I’ve watch all your videos. I just bought this f300 elite at a good price from eBay. I plan to give this to my nephew as a beginners joystick since he is starting to beat me in SFV. Thank you Sir for all that you do.
I bought the F500 Elite after being out of the fighting community since early 360/ps3 and I'm really impressed with the quality for the price. With the most recent firmware update and the Magic-Pro wireless adapter, I am able to play MK11 & SF5 on my PS5. Very happy with the purchase.
@@JoystickNY Sort of... They are still working on getting around the lock out on the PS5 controller. You can use a PS4 controller when playing those PS4 games on PS5, though. Also, with the Magic Pro you can use any Xbox/PS/Switch controller on each console. No more trying to play Blazblue with the terrible(for me) stock Switch D-pad! You can check out the firmware updates for anybody interested at www.mayflash.com
Thanks for reviewing this and the normal F300. I was tossing back and forth which I should get, but ultimately got the base F300 because I found a well priced bundle that came with the Mayflash USB thumbsticks so I don't need to plug in a controller (which I really wanted), wanted to save on the initial cost, and I figured I'll just upgrade the buttons myself at a later date as I already repair and modify my own tech. Was also getting a separate stick for Wii, Wii U, and GC so I can have a stick that works with nearly everything I own. It should be in by the end of this week. Can't wait to try it out. I've been tossing back and forth getting an arcade stick over 20 years now but never did as I'm not a hardcore fighting game player and I was perfectly fine with a controller, however, after a thumb injury that makes it hard to use a controller, specifically pressing the face buttons, I figured now's the time to finally get it. I'll probably test it out in Dragon Marked for Death or Streets of Rage 4.
jotaroxtreme the f300 is a great choice,m right now , its good to pay the least just to see what ps5 have installed for us, incase there is something u like, 👍🕹
Thank you my friend, just ordered my F300 Elite. I play MK9-11, Tekken 7, Dragonball Fighterz, SFV, USF4, Third Strike, and UMvC3, so I know I will get alot of mileage out of this stick. Excellent review. Cheers!

I brought the f300 elite due to your excellent review and I thank you..It is amazing and can now play beat em ups the way I use to in the arcades. Keep up the good work and brilliant videos. 🙏
I bought a F300 Elite after watching your review video. Mine comes with an USB type-C OTG, an USB cable, optional rubber legs, and a restrict gate for the Sanwa stick.
Great video review. Thanks to you for making aware of the mayflash brand arcade sticks I now own both the f300 and the f300 elite with sanwa octagonal gate. Will be purchasing the f500 elite with sanwa octagonal gate as well. Didn't want to buy a $270.00 arcade stick the mayflash brand is budget friendly. Thanks again.
@@JoystickNY It's simply that I've made a retropies loaded with mame and fba games for my lady to enjoy old school arcade that she loves so much as well for myself. She gets the standard mayflash arcade sticks I myself the elite versions lol.
Bought my F300 Elite a week ago and it feels amazing and the case is surprisingly bigger than I thought. I've never used hayabusa/seimitsu/other brand parts tho so I can't really compare them but I can finally korean backdash consistently lol. I used to play with a shitty knockoff arcade stick before and it was horrible lmao. One thing that I discovered though, my left wrist hurts after playing for a long period of time but I might get used to it later. Overall, A very good arcade stick for it's humble price. An absolute steal imo.
I bought a used F300 Elite earlier this year. I don't really have any comparison, but I like it. I might mod it with silent buttons, my downstairs neighbour once complained when I was playing late. (Or I could just fix my sleeping rythm ;) ) I think I would like it more if the lever and buttons were farther apart, but when I look at photos of bigger arcade sticks, it looks like they just add more empty space left and right.
Hey man, I also just got a used F300 Elite too. I would've maybe rather gotten something larger for my lap, like a Hori RAP, but they seem to be very hard to find in Europe at least. Also for the price of 75 dollars I couldn't say no to it, liking it so far. Even if I get something else later, 75 was probably worth it for the parts alone. Also thanks to JoyStickNY for the thorough review, helped me make my choice.
Torn on this or 8bitdo for first stick. Canada doesn't seem like it's super easy to get sanwa parts for cheap and this is about $30 more than 8bitdo, might have to get this.
@TheSnisel I had the f300 elite for a bit before I returned it because I wasn't sure how much I'd use it. I now have the f500 elite and it's great, but you can't go wrong with the 300 either. the 500 is just bigger and sturdier which I liked.
awesome video man, really helpful to be honest, now i'm planning to buy one fight stick but i'm very lost in the whole arrange of buttons/levers, i already knew sanwa but i didn't know this particular mayflash had it, you just got my sub and i'll be around watching a commenting your videos, keep it up!
It would be interesting to see ergonomic fight stick mods, like expanding base for your lap or adding weight in certain areas, or maybe even a gel wrist pad lol
@@JoystickNY ur doing rom infinite and that's a good fundamentals in mvc2.mvc2 community is dying right now.because of Evo issue 😂.I'm expecting more of this stuff on you.specially showcasing all of ur sticks 👍👌
I feel like i am missing a usb c cable from one of the box, possibly a return and they forgot to put the adaptor back in, when they return these stick, i dont think they check whats suppose to be inside. 😭
Amazing. I bought my first arcade stick only 5 days ago (MOPei PXN arcade stick) and already it's registering down corners incorrectly. I was being really delicate with it unlike you with this F300 but I'm returning the PXN for one of these. At least with the F300 I'll be able to upgrade parts if anything does fail on me.
@@JoystickNY Hi! Love your videos. Do you know Gate does the F300 elite come with by default (square, octagonal, etc). Also, is it cheaper to buy the regular f300+Sanwa parts, or just buying the f300 elite?
Paulo Penado it comes with a square gate, and it is 20$ cheaper to buy the elite in the usa, if you plan to upgrade it, i would recommend just buying the elite, save you some time n money, and u get a nicer body frame. 👍🕹
Great review! You mentioned the possibility of reversing the joystick layout for right-hand use in another video. I'm curious if there would be any issues with accidentally pressing the small buttons on the top panel on Myflash F300 Elite
I tend to make purchases first out of impulse and check reviews after the fact... maybe seems that in this case I might be alright. Can't wait to try this thing out on the MAME + 240p/480i CRT rig. Should come pretty damn close to perfect arcadi-ness. If I like it I will buy a 2nd, not because I have friends [I do not], but because I like dual-stick stuff.
after the firmware updates, it supports XBOX series X/S, XBOX One, XBOX 360, PS3, PS4, PS5, NeoGeo Switch, Sega MD/Genesis mini, and Sega AstroCity mini.
You should review the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo Wii U arcade sticks from Mad Catz and Hori. The Mad Catz ones are the Tatsunoko vs Capcom stick and the Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii U Edition Stick and the Hori ones are also the Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii U Edition and Fighting Stick Wii sticks. There's also the Arcade Fighter sticks from dreamGEAR.
Dustin Nunn you mean in tournament, in tournaments, they allow you to mod your stick, but in a way that does not give your self a advantage, meaning nothing humanly impossible or a general controller cant do, turbo is not allow, adding more buttons may not be allow, but the best way is to check with the tournament organizers
@@JoystickNY So, only turbo is illegal in tournaments because that is considered cheating? I hate turbo being used in fighting games because that takes the fun out of fighting games. I get a lot of turbo nerds on my end when I'm playing online on my Wii U and PS3.
Sorry about the confusion, in order to use the stick on the xbox, you have to connect the usb wire from the stick to a wired xbox controller; and then connect the stick to your xbox. Basically this stick have 2 wires, 1 goes to the console, 1 goes to the controller. What i meant to say is, you dont need the original xbox controller brand, u can use a cheap off brand, as long as its licensed form microsoft
@@JoystickNY gotchu. And I'm gonna need some help with my Mayflash F300. When I played Tekken 7 on PS4, the buttons were mixed up. Heck when I tried the PS4 menu, it doesn't work right except for somewhat Tekken 7
Hello, I see on my amazon right now this cost $160 (CAD) and looking at your video, it is cheaper than what you said when this vid was published.. I was wondering if this is still a good price to buy?
Does this stick work with the Brook Wingman SD converter?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I don't think it works on this converter, but cannot confirm
I've read online that this stick is of poor quality (e. g. for one person it has stopped working after a month or so). Some people also doubt the authenticity of its preinstalled Sanwa buttons. After using it for quite some time (if you still use it), can you tell whether it is working as intended? I am currently thinking of buying this one as my first stick and would appreciate your advice.
Vasily Chernukha to give you my best opinion, i own the mayflash f300, and f300 elite, so far i havent gotten any problems with them yet, could also be that i mainly use my hori rap4 most of the time. I dont have that many hours on the mayflash, i mainly purchase them because i was curious to see how good they are for the price, for 50$ i think its a very good deal for a entry lvl stick to get your feet wet, and just with most things are; the more money you spend, it will be high quality, but if you dont play fighting games too much, and dont plan to get serious on it; it would he okay to use it, if your goal is to be serious and get to a higher level, then maybe invest in a 100$ price range; hope that helps
I have the F500 Elite which is just a bigger version of the F300 Elite and I can safely say that the buttons are authentic Sanwa buttons. Same with joystick as well. The only issue this fightstick has is that the inputs a couple of milliseconds slower than most sticks. It doesn't make a difference to most people but I thought I'd tell you.
Swatti great info 👍 thank you for that, if i see it on sale, i ll pick one up to try it, i hope to do speed test in the future if i can get some equipments someday ❤️🙏
Hey! Amazing video! Also whole your channel is incredible and helpful. I'm divided between F300 Elite and F500 Elite. For now without mods, after few months I'm planning to swap for Seimitsu LS-40, is there enough space for that? And what's the difference between those two arcade sticks? I used to play on moded MadCatz Street Fighter TE - loved that one but it's a bit too big for me (travelling a lot and have to save some space ^^).
Id like to get this stick but I'm concerned about the small size... Did you feel comfortable playing with it? (Great video BTW keep up the good work 🔥🔥)
For the price and value, is great stick becuz there is no stick on the market that is around 80. Your right, when it comes to comfort, not so much comfortable compared to other longer and bigger stick. That is the con of this stick. A bigger premium part stick, will be around 120-150$
JT, great video! What do you think about the F500? Picked it up after watching this video. Needed a stick that would cover most of my consoles, storage can be challenging for these. Thanks again for all your hard work!! Happy New Year!
If you want A universal and a bigger stick ,The f500 is probably the one, U can go for 300 elite, but it will he a bit smaller, once u swap out the parts on ur 500, it will basically be a 500 elite 👍
This video is a little old now but I'm just now getting into fight stick play myself. I used a friend's F300 Elite to see if I would want a stick rather than pad and that's definitely the case. After a lot of research (and your channel, really great tutorials and reviews for beginners), I decided on the Mayflash F500 Elite. I mainly went for the 500 Elite because it is slightly bigger and the 300 made me cramp up due to having to keep my arms and hands close together. Since you haven't reviewed the F500 elite yet I was wondering if you think this is a wise decision? Money wasn't too much an issue but I'm definitely unable to buy a higher end stick right now (250-350 range), and Mayflash makes very good sticks on the lower end of the price range from what I've seen. But do you know of any distinct difference between the F500 Elite vs the F300 Elite? Any issues that you have heard of? This channel is great and has really helped me up my gaming in the community, thanks for your hard work!
Asimo G thank you, btw if you are considering the f500 elite, i would recommend looking into the madcarz tes+, its slightly cheaper, and you get a madcatz brand stick, the pro of the mayflash is you can use it for many diff systems, the con is you have to connect a ps or xbox controller when u use the stick, which can be annoying sometimes, the madcatz is only ps3 ps4 and pc tho. And i think the major difference btw the f500 and elite is just the sanwa parts. And appearance Everything else pretty much the same.
JoyStickNY wouldnt the magic boot resolve this issue? I have also been looking to invest into a beginner fightstick and ive been looking at the f500. The fact that i have to connect the controller to the stick seems so awkward and annoying. Would a magic boot fix this problem? I believe it was made specifically for the mayflash to avoid the extra wiring that would come from plugging a controller
Fundamentals _ i am actually not sure, i havent used a magic boot before, but i seen some videos online where people use it and it look like it works, but i am a simple guy, i try not to buy something extra if it already works, i would just plug it in to the ps4 controller ❤️🙏
I’ve played fighting games on pad for years and I’m thinking of finally getting a fightstick, but can’t seem to decide on what one to buy. Would you recommend the f300 first to see if I like using a fightstick first, then upgrade? Or would it be better to just get the f300 elite? I’ve also been looking at the hori rap V but the sale ended and the price shot back up.
Sabnova3415 if you play alot of fighting game, i would say jump straight to the elite, if you dont like fighting game, and just want to have a stick, get the cheaper one to see how you feel. And then you can upgrade it if you actually like it, its a smaller risk ❤️🙏
@@JoystickNY Thanks for the reply! Ya I play plenty of fighting games. I used to mostly play MK growing up, but I am playing SFV and DB Fighterz a lot. I think I'll def. go with the better stick then. Appreciate the help!
I hit on the Amazon link to check out the Elite. Do you notice the pictures, on the box it says MayFlash. But on the stick itself, the name was printed as MayLash ...I wonder why 🤔
Oh yeah, wayyy better, the f300 elite has premium sanwa parts, the neogeo pro prob have some cheap unbranded parts. I might pick one up later on for a review. Looks interesting, i cant comment too much on it yet 🙏😊
Reviewing elite F300 and MVC2??? Bro...you read my mind. I'm serching for a good stick, not so fancy, but solid and semi pro. My game is mvc2 and this will me my first arcade stick ever, so i need to be sure if worth it or not. I think this video help me a lot with all my doubs, but i have to ask you 1 thing, hope you can help me with that. What i need to use this stick in my PC? just plug and play or like in playstation or xbox i need a joystick? or you done thaty only for wireless?? i miss that part. Well thank you very much and cheers from Argentina!!
What do you thinkof the MAYFLASH Arcade Stick F500 Elite with Sanwa VS The Hori Pro 4 Kai. I am freshly brand new to a fight stick and haven't played on an arcade since I was a teenager and I am now 32 wanting to hop back onto a fight stick and hoping to make sure I have something lightening fast and responsive for when I play Tekken 7. I am an inch away of going for the Hori Pro 4 Kai especially since I found it for $120.00 locally. Please let me know, thanks.
I would say go with the hori rap 4, that is a really popular stick, and amazing stick. It is also 1 of my favorite stick, as you see me demo-ing with it in most of my videos. But just keep in mind u are going with hayabusa parts, i love them, but sanwa is more popular
would you recommend this stick for being level players on pc? i have been wanting to get into fighting games and as of now I have been using my keyboard. I have been debating on this one or the 8bitdo.
Nice vid man deserve 1 sub! Will this be the best for starter? I was playing fighting games since forever using pad and are planning to upgrade to stick
Yota Ke i think the best starter stick right now is the qanba drone, u can get one off qanba official website for 49$ flat free shipping. For pc and ps4 🙏thank you for the support
I'm living in Europe right now so there aren't any place beside amazon selling qanba drone which already cost 100€ haha, so i'm thinking about getting this one
Yota Ke you know, i hear a lot of my viewer saying is hard to find a stick in where they live, sometimes I wonder if i can do something like start a system where i buy the stick and ship it to them for the usa price, but i dont know how shipping international is going to work and it may not even make sense if its too expensive
Today I got my Mayflash F300 Elite. I just need to get a magic boot for it, a sticker... If it's possible and if it's legal a Street Fighter themed sticker printed the original Mayflash XBOX-Playstation layout on it and then i just need to replace the stick with 8 way sanwa joystick I bought. Oh and JoyStickNY... It came with USB-C to USB cable. Though it's really short. Because it only some centimeter long. Like a max 10 centimeter or maybe less. But it's not a problem for it because I won't use it anyway since I don't have Neogeo mini and I don't plan to get one either.
@@JoystickNY I dunno where to find any that fits this fight stick since both the F300 and F500 are bigger. Also I cannot use the photoshop so I cannot edit the template to get the original Mayflash Playstation/XBOX layout on it. Anyway the stick is good just I need to replace the joystick on it to the 8 way joystick I bought for it. I order the Magic boots and the 5 pin adapter cable yesterday.
Great channel. I wanted to ask, if you're using it on PS4 do you need to plug the micro USB into the Dual Shock 4? Or is this only required when using it on Xbox?
I recently got this as my main stick for the Xbox Series X, the f500 version, and i love the size of the enclosure and weight. Do you know if it can fit a Seimitsu LS-32 or LS-40 stick without mods or soldering? I'm used to Sanwa and Hori stickn buttons, but i wanna try. a Seimitsu stick as well.
@joystickny I just got my F300 Elite delivered. But I am unable to configure it with my raspberry pi and retro pi console. Please let me know how I get this to work
elton Chisholm sorry i am not familiar with the two platform, i know for sure it works on switch, pc, ps and xbox, but i never tried or know if it supports those 2 platform, let me check online and see if i can find any info
Daniel Madrid Garate definitely this one, because the F500 does not have premium parts. The advantage of the f500 is You get a bigger body, a headphone jack and you can change artwork. The f300 elite have a smaller body, no headphone jack, but you get premium parts. They are the same price. If you get the f500, you are looking to spend another 40$ on parts down the road.
If you want to get the f500 and then upgrade the parts, i recommend looking at other options, madcatz, hori and razer. I am actually working on a website for buying guide, i think it should be up in a month. I ll let u know when its up
James G that one i have not, i am usually not a big fan of wireless systems, even with mouse and keyboard i prefer wired lol, its a old habit of mine. 😊 thank you for dropping by
JoyStickNY do you think it would affect performance using the dongles vs wires? I just bought the f500 due to your video for my switch over the hori mini
James G James G there will be slight delay in response when ever you go wireless, i saw a video on the brooks wireless board vs wired, even big guys like brooks will have small delay, but its nothing to he worry about, becuz it is in the mili seconds. Too small to notice, The F500 is great, once you get comfortablec you can swap the parts and your stick will be premium. 👍🕹
Jim you mean you upgraded your qanba drone with sanwa part? If that is the case, then your qanba drone is much better. Because by default, the qanba drone doesn’t come with sanwa part. In that case, in that case, they are both the same in terms of effectiveness, if u play ps4, get the drone, if you play ps4+xbox get the mayflash ❤️🙏
I got the F300 and it worked instant on my PS4 Slim without Problems but on my Xbox One X it did not work and that sucks because i got all the fighting games on the Xbox 😅
would you recommend this arcade stick for an intermediate/advanced player? or do you think there are better options around the same price? btw I mostly play on pc
Hello, I'm a SF6 controller player, diamond/low master. I'm trying to switch to arcade stick, I would to know: is this arcade stick "competitive"? Brings any disadvantage compared a controller or more expensive arcade sticks? Has it any lag input that requires to replace the chip inside? I'm not interested about art panel, colors, etc. But really need a competitive product. (thanks for your videos, very good).
While using it with X box one can we connect the USB cable to some other power source? Or it is required to connect with Console as i am planning to buy two of these, not sure how it will work.
@@JoystickNY Im not trying to force you to buy it. I realize now that my origonal comment might have implied that and for that, i sincerely apologize. I just meant to say that if u come across it, maybe try and review it. You may by all means do what you want but just a small suggestion. I still highly appreciate and enjoy your content regardless. Thank you for your time🙏🙏🙏 ❤️❤️❤️
I don't know if you can response on this question but if you put your headphone on the controller of ps4 while connecting to mayflash will the headphones work? I kinda looking for a decent stick with a headphone with reasonable price and i can only play with headphone because there are a lot of people busy doing stuff at home
Hi I know this is super late but do you think this one is better or the 8bitdo arcade stick? I’m leaning more towards this one because of the Sanwa parts but the 8bitdo is prettier and is a bit cheaper. I mainly play Tekken
your honest review means a lot for me! Im living in germany, this stick costs around 142$. should i buy it? ps. i have never owned a arcade stick, but the controller input/feeling/use is to unaccurate and F***TS me off hahaha

I bought a F300 Elite after watching your review video. Mine comes with an USB type-C OTG, an USB cable, optional rubber legs, and a restrict gate for the Sanwa stick.
Hope you like it, mine didnt come with extra stuff, i guess they update the packaging over time 🕹👍
Great video review.
Angel Flores thank you for watching, ❤️🙏🕹 by the way, how come you need to buy 3 sticks?
Your right, At the end of the day, all it matter is the buttons and the lever, it will get the job done
@@JoystickNY It's simply that I've made a retropies loaded with mame and fba games for my lady to enjoy old school arcade that she loves so much as well for myself. She gets the standard mayflash arcade sticks I myself the elite versions lol.
Angel Flores haha you better upgrade her to sanwa’s soon lol 😊😂👍🕹
Hi Sr, what do you recommend between F300 elite and my flesh F300. because I found F300 elite in lower price?
Bought my F300 Elite a week ago and it feels amazing and the case is surprisingly bigger than I thought. I've never used hayabusa/seimitsu/other brand parts tho so I can't really compare them but I can finally korean backdash consistently lol. I used to play with a shitty knockoff arcade stick before and it was horrible lmao.
One thing that I discovered though, my left wrist hurts after playing for a long period of time but I might get used to it later.
Overall, A very good arcade stick for it's humble price. An absolute steal imo.
Btw it seems to be able to connect to ps5 too after the 1.09 firmware update. I can't test it though as I don't own it.
I think so, mayflash confirms all 4 sticks will work on xbox and ps5
hey is 8 way gate or did it come with one?
Really diggin the videos. Hope you'll be reviewing the Mayflash F700. It looks pretty cool.
Glad I found your videos. Just ordered my Arcade Stick! Thanks for the reviews and the recommendations.
Thank you for watching and enjoy 🙏❤️🕹
I changed out the spring on this arcade stick to a 2lb and it fills much better. Also put a battop on this.
MikeTrack good stuff, i am used to the default sprint and ball top, but i like bat top on marvel vs capcom games ❤️🙏, thank you for dropping by
FYI you can update the firmware for both versions of the f300 sometimes. They do release them rarely on the official site
Thank you for the great info 🙏❤️
I bought a used F300 Elite earlier this year. I don't really have any comparison, but I like it. I might mod it with silent buttons, my downstairs neighbour once complained when I was playing late. (Or I could just fix my sleeping rythm ;) )
I think I would like it more if the lever and buttons were farther apart, but when I look at photos of bigger arcade sticks, it looks like they just add more empty space left and right.
Most of the layout is about the same, what you can do is a custom layout in the future
❤️🙏
Torn on this or 8bitdo for first stick. Canada doesn't seem like it's super easy to get sanwa parts for cheap and this is about $30 more than 8bitdo, might have to get this.
Start small for now, take it slow. Maybe buy 1 if u ever on vacation
Hi, I’m in the same predicament. I’m either gonna buy this stick or the 8bitdo one, which one do you recommend? I play tekken mainly
@TheSnisel I had the f300 elite for a bit before I returned it because I wasn't sure how much I'd use it. I now have the f500 elite and it's great, but you can't go wrong with the 300 either. the 500 is just bigger and sturdier which I liked.
awesome video man, really helpful to be honest, now i'm planning to buy one fight stick but i'm very lost in the whole arrange of buttons/levers, i already knew sanwa but i didn't know this particular mayflash had it, you just got my sub and i'll be around watching a commenting your videos, keep it up!
cesar romero thank you so much ❤️🙏
Thanks for the review. I just bought this arcade stick.
Thank you for watching 🙏❤️
It would be interesting to see ergonomic fight stick mods, like expanding base for your lap or adding weight in certain areas, or maybe even a gel wrist pad lol
Great advice, would love to make them in the future
I never knew that ur mvc2 player also.ive been watching ur videos for a year now 🔥
I appreciate you ♥️i try to play as much diff fighting game as i can lol
@@JoystickNY ur doing rom infinite and that's a good fundamentals in mvc2.mvc2 community is dying right now.because of Evo issue 😂.I'm expecting more of this stuff on you.specially showcasing all of ur sticks 👍👌
"i really wish the security sticker was here" *opens box* "and like that, nothing but bricks in here"
I feel like i am missing a usb c cable from one of the box, possibly a return and they forgot to put the adaptor back in, when they return these stick, i dont think they check whats suppose to be inside. 😭
Thx for the video . I just ordered one it will be my first fight stick seems good
Yea return it for sure, i think the pxn is abit too pricey, you have alot more option at that price range, the f300 elite is a good value. ❤️🙏
This review was very helpful and well done. Thank you very much. I subscribed
thank you for the support 🙏❤️
Just bought the MayFlash f300
Guess I need to buy this one too
You dont, your stick is good enough, and you can upgrade it, i have a video on that
after the firmware updates, it supports XBOX series X/S, XBOX One, XBOX 360, PS3, PS4, PS5, NeoGeo Switch, Sega MD/Genesis mini, and Sega AstroCity mini.
Thank you for the great info ❤️🙏
Got me sold on this, can't wait to try some Guilty Gear AC R & Street Fighter V
Enjoy, thank you for watching 🙏❤️

Tripcore u were trying to ship it somewhere else ?
@@JoystickNY *ship
Apex OMG, i just realized my typo or auto correct, good catch 🙏🙏🙏, sorry tripcore, it was suppose to be ship*.
What’s the difference between the f300 elite vs the f500 elite?
You should review the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo Wii U arcade sticks from Mad Catz and Hori. The Mad Catz ones are the Tatsunoko vs Capcom stick and the Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii U Edition Stick and the Hori ones are also the Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii U Edition and Fighting Stick Wii sticks. There's also the Arcade Fighter sticks from dreamGEAR.
Thank you, i will add those to my list, slowly one at a time, 🙏🕹👍
@@JoystickNY Is it illegal to modify an arcade stick or is it legal to modify an arcade stick?
Dustin Nunn you mean in tournament, in tournaments, they allow you to mod your stick, but in a way that does not give your self a advantage, meaning nothing humanly impossible or a general controller cant do, turbo is not allow, adding more buttons may not be allow, but the best way is to check with the tournament organizers
@@JoystickNY So, only turbo is illegal in tournaments because that is considered cheating? I hate turbo being used in fighting games because that takes the fun out of fighting games. I get a lot of turbo nerds on my end when I'm playing online on my Wii U and PS3.
Dustin Nunn your are right, its not allowed becuz its not humanly possible.
Mad 3rd strike skills dude
Cyb3rn4t0r thank you 🕹🙏❤️
I am confused about the required controller connection. Is this a different system to what other universal sticks use?
Sorry about the confusion, in order to use the stick on the xbox, you have to connect the usb wire from the stick to a wired xbox controller; and then connect the stick to your xbox. Basically this stick have 2 wires, 1 goes to the console, 1 goes to the controller. What i meant to say is, you dont need the original xbox controller brand, u can use a cheap off brand, as long as its licensed form microsoft
I really like your videos!
thank you for the support 🙏❤️
I NOW KNOW WHAT IM GONNA GET FOR MY FIRST ARCADE STICK WHEN I PLAY SMASH, MK, SF, AND TEKKEN
Smash is abit tough on a stick 🤣
@@JoystickNY have you tried it?
Ya, very hard, i am not used to jump being a button, very awkard on a stick
@@JoystickNY gotchu. And I'm gonna need some help with my Mayflash F300. When I played Tekken 7 on PS4, the buttons were mixed up.
Heck when I tried the PS4 menu, it doesn't work right except for somewhat Tekken 7
You won't be able to play smash on this dude
Hello, I see on my amazon right now this cost $160 (CAD) and looking at your video, it is cheaper than what you said when this vid was published.. I was wondering if this is still a good price to buy?
160 its kinda over price, how much is qanba obsidian in your city
You need a lapel mic. The audio is really hard to hear.
Thank you for the feedback, i upgraded the mic, i think is slightly better now
Does this stick work with the Brook Wingman SD converter?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I don't think it works on this converter, but cannot confirm
please do for
Mayflash F500
Mayflash F500 Elite
Pretty sure they're the exact same, f300 vs f500 is just a size difference
500 is basically a bigger 300
500 elite is basically a bigger 300 elite
If i see a sale, i can pick 1 up
@@JoystickNY Pick F500 elite ?
@@JoystickNY Thanks a lot, that helps!
@@Swattii Thanks for sharing!
Swatti great info 👍 thank you for that, if i see it on sale, i ll pick one up to try it, i hope to do speed test in the future if i can get some equipments someday ❤️🙏
11:25 yo this combo was godlike
Thank you 🙏❤️
There should be enough space on the mayflashes, the seitmitsu is going to feel tigher.
I bought the f300 and mod it have it over 7 months now it’s awesome 😎
mr cool Dublin great choice 👍❤️🕹
I am surprised he didn’t do a 360 rotation for the foam
Thank you for watching 🙏❤️
JT, great video! What do you think about the F500? Picked it up after watching this video. Needed a stick that would cover most of my consoles, storage can be challenging for these. Thanks again for all your hard work!! Happy New Year!
If you want A universal and a bigger stick ,The f500 is probably the one,
U can go for 300 elite, but it will he a bit smaller, once u swap out the parts on ur 500, it will basically be a 500 elite 👍
@@JoystickNY Awesome! Thanks, I will probably do just that! Appreciate the reply!
You have good eyes 👍😉
Thanks a lot for this video!
I was wondering, do you know there is a big difference between the Mayflash F300 Elite et Mayflash F500 Elite?
To my understanding, is just a bigger size difference, the internal parts are same sanwa parts. ❤️🕹🙏
@@JoystickNY I see! Thanks a lot for this info! 😊🙏🏻
I think the Mayflash F300 elite is better than the NeoGeo arcade Stick.
Marcolubus you mean the new neogeo pro?
@@JoystickNY yes

For pc is plug and play,
For xbox and playstation you need to connect a extra wire to a controller
I'd really love to get the elite but it's not available in Germany sadly. Got the normal one instead. I'll upgrade it after a year or so.
No worries, u can always swap the parts and you have alot of options 🕹👍
Thanks for the great enjoyable vids, thank you👍👌
ThefunkMaster thank you, appreciate the love ❤️🙏 and support
For a person with large hands is the same or better f500 that has more space between the stick and the edge okay?
Large casing will be more comfortable on lap and for hand 🙏
would you recommend this stick for being level players on pc? i have been wanting to get into fighting games and as of now I have been using my keyboard. I have been debating on this one or the 8bitdo.
Get the 8bitdo
awesome review for fights sticks and a pro or might say Elite fighting games gamer.
Thank you for the kind words 🙏❤️
I'm considering getting a Mayflash 500 Elite, would the same sort of things from this review apply?
Yes, but i would recommend other sticks, only becuz the price is so high that you have alot of options, unless you really need a universal stick
Yota Ke you know, i hear a lot of my viewer saying is hard to find a stick in where they live, sometimes
I wonder if i can do something like start a system where i buy the stick and ship it to them for the usa price, but i dont know how shipping international is going to work and it may not even make sense if its too expensive
Thank you for the reply xD but yeah, world-wide shipping is definitely not an easy task since you may struggle with tax and stuff D:
Yota Ke oh yea and tax , your right, 👍 totally forgot that, i am going to do some research down the road, thank you
Today I got my Mayflash F300 Elite.
I think if you print it your self for personal use; it should be good. I hope you are enjoying the stick 🕹👍
Vay Ung yes your right, when using ps4 and xbox 360, i have to plug in to the controller 👍😊
Does it have to be a wired controller? I have an xbox one with wireless and I would like to play non fighting games with it. Is this a good option?
Hey, thanks for the great video.
Which one would be a better option between this one and the F500 ?
Again, great video.
I ll let u know when its up
Actually the f500 elite would be a great choice too, its 119 with sanwa parts and a nice build
@@JoystickNY is you website up already?
Vasily Chernukha its up, but i have a lot of work to do on it 🤣
Have you tried using the magic boot dongles for wireless gaming with xbox and playstation?
What's the difference between this and the f500 elite model?
Mainly just bigger, internals are all the same sanwa parts, the 300 elite would be a better value 🕹👍
Save 20$ on the f500 elite by replacing the buttons and stick on the f500. Save 10 by buying the 300 elite over the 300.
Thank u for this video ✊🏿
phill thank you for watching🙏❤️
how would you compare this to the qanba drone with sanwa parts
Jim you mean you upgraded your qanba drone with sanwa part? If that is the case, then your qanba drone is much better. Because by default, the qanba drone doesn’t come with sanwa part. In that case, in that case, they are both the same in terms of effectiveness, if u play ps4, get the drone, if you play ps4+xbox get the mayflash ❤️🙏
I got the F300 and it worked instant on my PS4 Slim without Problems but on my Xbox One X it did not work and that sucks because i got all the fighting games on the Xbox 😅
Hmm, that is strange, double check and make sure all the settles are correct for xbox, check the manual inside
I wanted to get this but I'm super confused, it says it's a 4 way joystick? doesn't that mean you can't do diagnal jump? am I missing something?
where is the comparison video of the f300 vs f300 elite? "coming soon" 1 year later...
Sorry for the delay, got so much on hand, as my video output is very slow due to full time job 🙏❤️
Is it possible to connect an arcade usb spinner with the Mayflash 300 Elite or 500 Elite via the USB port on this arcade stick?

I think this stick went up in price,
I recommend getting the 8bitdo and swap out the parts

Hello, I'm a SF6 controller player, diamond/low master. I'm trying to switch to arcade stick, I would to know: is this arcade stick "competitive"? Brings any disadvantage compared a controller or more expensive arcade sticks? Has it any lag input that requires to replace the chip inside? I'm not interested about art panel, colors, etc. But really need a competitive product. (thanks for your videos, very good).
While using it with X box one can we connect the USB cable to some other power source? Or it is required to connect with Console as i am planning to buy two of these, not sure how it will work.
Karan Relhan the main usb cable goes to the xbox, it comes with a loose cable, usb to mini usb, that connect the mayflash to your xbox controller
If you can, could you please do a review of the Sparkfox universal fightstick? I havent seen any good reviews of it and I really enjoy your vids.

I don't know if you can response on this question but if you put your headphone on the controller of ps4 while connecting to mayflash will the headphones work? Hi I know this is super late but do you think this one is better or the 8bitdo arcade stick? I’m leaning more towards this one because of the Sanwa parts but the 8bitdo is prettier and is a bit cheaper. I mainly play Tekken
So what's the deal with needing a Pad is that for all generations of consoles/Xboxes?
your honest review means a lot for me! Im living in germany, this stick costs around 142$. should i buy it?

At first I've tried the Hori RAP 4 Kai (also 150€) but the Sanwa party on the Dajia are waaaay better!! for the same prise! In germany i do not have many options, but Im very happy with this fight stick! :) It feels so much better as Hori!
Glad you enjoy it, now is time to practice before project L comes out
@@JoystickNY NEVER heard about this game! BUT IT LOOKS NEAT!
What stick would you recommend for someone with big hands? Saw a lot of comments on f300 saying it’s too small
