your the best wood working ,, i like wood working to much.... i wish i built my shop same your elegant shop...👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏 by the way i came from philippines... pure pilipino😍😍😍i alway watching your video upload....tank s to share ...
thank you very much for sharing, you saved me of the nightmare of attaching my saw to the base plate with screws and un attaching it every time . good job and thank you .
Perfect. I'd been looking at buying a track saw for my new wood shop, but the price for a decent brand is too much. This build is the best I've seen, easy to remove the saw, simple, can be built with leftover ply. I think I'd use a router to cut the groove though, and possibly a plastic runner.
For that dado, why not use a router? Seems like you have more than a sufficient shop… Either way, dope video, great tunes, and a solid inspiration to do this myself with that saw I’ve had my eye on for a while!
Thanks for sharing. I think I will just use the zero clearance base plate idea you have and for me that alone I think will help with tear out on the top side of a cut. And if only using the base plate you only lose maybe 1/8” depth of cut. I also like your push stick you used on the table saw. Off to see if you posted a video of that now!
Very nice! Combines several feature of other DIY track saws that I've seen and I particularly like that the saw is not attached to the base plate, so it's easily removed for other functions. I think I would eliminate the handle on the track in favour of a hand-hole cut out just to keep the bulk down and ease of storage.
5:20 how you can eyeball it to be square with blade ? you need the blade be exactly 90 degree with slider... how you can just doit by hand ? you need atleast a square to be sure its 90degree... else the blade will be binding when cutting.
If you’re making things out of large sheets of plywood, a track saw comes in handy for handling long precise cuts. If you could have a way to have a HUGE table for the table saw, sure, you COULD do that. It’d still be difficult to do sanely. A mitre saw is of no value for a large sheet of plywood.
First of all, I am ashamed to admit I was nodding along a little to the funky background track... But seriously, this is quite the nice build. I already see the version 2 video link up there, but I might give this one a go (although I have a DeWalt and not a Milwaukee, so there's probably some sort of rivalry there or something, hehe ....) *Edit:* I failed to read that correctly. The "Version 2" link above is from a year ago. I think this is your latest.
Awesome job, going to make this, but where did he get that dust adapter for the saw? I have the 7 1/2 I didn't get one with the saw. See some on Amazon, but not sure it will fit.
Dekay- only super glue on the saw tray, or did you brad nail as well? Also, I liked the viewing holes in your earlier design. This one is simpler, but diy seems like you could lose track of your mark.
Well done. Some great innovation. I just made a steel mft table. It's very heavy. I still need to somehow install fence and another on the opposite side so I can make true square cuts. On my mft table despite spending time squaring I still make cuts that were not a true square. The fence on the mft table is not rigid enough so there is movement. The time it takes to set true and square seems to be only successful when cutting ply. When cutting hardwoods the accuracy diminishes somewhat. Making a steel mft table will accomodate the mft table so I can set them side my side to carry full sheets.

The music and pace made this fun to watch. The belt sander at 3:07 was really getting into it.

Thanks for this! What do you call the black lining you put under the guide?

Very clever, why don't Milwaukee make a track saw?
Хорошо получилось, и подошву дырявить не понадобилось. 👍
super bonne idée merci de France
Your work is perfect
What kind of black ruler, for angles do you have, from which company?

ok, i'll make this one...good job, very usefull 👍👍👍
이런영상 보면서 답답한게 플런지쏘가 가격이 원형톱가격이면 이런일 안해도 되잖아요. 원형톱보다 플런지소가 더 안전하고 이런저런 용도에도 맞는데 구지 비싸게 내놓아서 다들 이런거 만들게 하는지... 답답할 따름... 영상 잘봤어요. 작업하시는게 모두 예술입니다. ^^;
How is this track saw design performing in 2021. Any improvements you made on it?

would have been alot cooler if you had made the entire thing with the circular saw and nothing else.
Quelle est ce genre de colle que vous mettez pour coller ???
Merci et bonne continuation 🤙👍⚒
Great video! Definitely going to make one. One of the easier designs to make!
