I like the simplicity of the videos, none of this silly music and overly required talk talk talk. Just the work, pure clean work. Highly accurate, deliberate and extremely effective. One of the few makers I watch straight away as soon as a video is released.
I enjoy your videos so much! You’re one of my favorite RUclipsrs; your videos are ALWAYS interesting and informative. I love the way you start by showing what it is and what it does, then how to build it. I wish more woodworking videos did that. I also really appreciate the excellent camera angles and the lack of annoying background music. Your designs are always elegant and excellent. As simple as they can be - but no simpler. When I build my shop, I’ll be utilizing MANY of your designs/tools. Thank you so much for the outstanding designs and content!
Great video! Love to see modular jigs like this. However, the best idea in the whole video is the remote for the dust collector attached to the hose. Genius!
Excelente idea, video y construcción de esta herramienta que facilita mucho los trabajos de carpintería. Gracias por compartirlo. Gracias a este genio, JSK "Intelligent Hands" Koubou.
Once again, you amaze me with your talent. I really enjoy your videos and have learned so much from you. May I ask how many teeth are on your circular saw? And that saw is very quiet compared to a corded saw. I just may have to buy one!!
The sticker can be placed without accuracy on the curve. Then the fence rail is set to 90 with a square. You then just glue the maker at the zero point of the gradation on the the fixed surface. It's much easier (accurate) to fix the smaller pointer on after the potentially longer scale.
@@BryanHancocks But the scale is only going to be accurate if the pivot point is in the right place, right? I’m with Sapele Steve; I don’t understand how the sticker was placed for accuracy.
@@donny_bahama He has it set to 90 degrees, he arbitrarily set the markup, and then he simply glued the mark with the pointer to "0", that's all. You try to do this and you will understand how simple everything is.
@@TK-dj7kr Those are just blank sticker sheets, they have one type for laser printers, and another type for inkjet printers, but you still have to design what gets printed on them.
I can see setting the 0 mark as easy but the layout for the miter angle label would be dependent on the arc cut out position and dimensions of the swivel part of the jig. My guess is he made the jig capable of 45 then using a protractor dialed in and marked the known 0 and 45 positions then created his label based on measurements of the locations of the stop marks on the piece.
Sir, what tape dispenser is that? Something available through amazon perhaps? I'm starting to use double sided tape a lot more, and that looks like a handy all-in-one tool
(It is not convenient to hold such a template. You have to hold with one finger at 0:13. The saw is driven by the motor over almost the entire width of the fence. And it will not work to fix this template with a clamp. On the left, in the area of your left hand at 0:13, a branch of this template is needed to fix it with a clamp. This will press the workpiece itself against the table and the template against the workpiece.)
good day sir, im from philippines, My name is arnel, I like this jig so much but i dont have the tools on making it, Can you teache how? Or can you send me the measurement of where to put a hole
I like several of you projects. Do the plans include a list of hardware needed (bearing blocks, steel tubes...) needed and a source for purchasing them?

What really makes this jig stand out, is the simplicity. Very nicely put together.

Where would this silent master be without his everlasting roll of double sided tape? I think I need to buy some myself.
I was thinking the exact same thing 😂😂
The secret ingredient is double sided tape!!
Once you start using it you find you can use it for everything. I wouldn't be without a roll in my shop for a minute!

may i know what model of makita cordless circular saw he used in this vid? is that a metal cutting circular saw?
How do you manage to work and keep the workshop so clean? I admire your work.
I assume that after every drilling, sawing or anything that causes a mess he cleans it up right away and stores everything at it's proper place.
This guy 👆🏼: Let me show you how to make a tool with....these other tools I made. Absolutely amazing

Very useful jig . Thank you.

JSK - I find your videos very enjoyable to watch. What model of Mikita saw is that?
I love your videos and how your shop is kept clean! Where do you get your aluminum extrusions? Everywhere I look is very expensive.
Isnt that Makita circular saw a version to cut metal with plastic housing for metal particles?

Very nicely made jigs JSK! I am curious as to how you knew where to set the "0" mark on the jig when you attached that 0-45 degree sticker? 👍👍😉😉
