@@Montra78 it’s pretty neat how all 3 of these series plus Fire Emblem Warriors and Mario Kart 8 with new content all got new releases and content in the same year twice, in both 2017 and 2022. And Splatoon 1, Xenoblade X, and vanilla Mario Kart 8’a 2nd DLC were in 2015
Bought a switch in 2020, then sold because I didn’t have the money to buy much games. but now I’m back 2022 with another one. This list of years was good since I’m looking to try other games then just animal crossing and Mario on the Switch.
2020 being the worst year for the Switch is just telling of how amazing the Switch has been throughout its entire life. That year still had a lot of stuff, and every other year is even better. I'm curious where you'd put 2023 because that year was absolutely insane with new games like Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Wonder, Pikmin 4, and Fire Emblem Engage; older games like Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, Advance Wars 1+2 Reboot Camp, and Super Mario RPG Remake; and DLC like Xenoblade 3 Future Redeemed and the 2nd half of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster course pass. And I know there's more which just adds to how to the insanity of that year's lineup for the Switch
Really suprised to see 2019 beat 2022, but i do somewhat understand the reasoning since 2019 did technically offer more content. I think I just value more the sheer amount of new games 2022 brought over 2019. And personally a lot of the new games I BOUGHT (Huge emphasis on I Bought) either disappointed me (like Yoshi's Crafted World) or i liked initially, but felt sour on over time (like Mario Maker 2 with how Nintendo just stopped supporting it) My personal Ranking 2022 > 2017 < 2021 < 2019 < 2018 < 2020
Personally 2022 and 2017 are my favourites. Both had Splatoon and Mario Rabbids come out whats not to love.
Same, and Xenoblade came out those years too. Those 3 games are all I need.

@@Montra78 ok I’ll try one of them after trying out Zelda and a Pokémon game. Do you have any other recommendations?

I’d honestly put 2023 at 2nd place rn
@@Montra78 I can definitely see why. Tears of the Kingdom, Mario Wonder, and Pikmin 4 only really add into that year being great for the Switch
Maybe I would switch 2019 with 2022, but I agree on everything else, really great video overall
Thank you!
2017 and 2021 win out. Really no real stinkers either year while the others… did.
so far i think 2023 will be my 2nd favourite and 1 is 2017 because in 2017 botw came out and in 2023 totk came out
