great job on a huge thrift haul! I would be so overwhelmed with all that. I wouldnt know which to list first because I would see possible $$ for all of them and want to list them ALL at once! As far as material/fabric tags-- what does the tag of shorts say that are "chino" ? also if a tag says "100% acrylic" what is what?

I know you've done videos on your photography process (which are excellent!) but could you have randi do a video on how she does it? I think about it when I'm trying to lay my items flat and take pictures one handed and all that lol
Hello, welcome and great question. In 2019 I would go to the 2 local thrift stores and look up every brand I came across manually to see how many were listed and sold in that size and style. After years of doing this I learned which ones to pick up. I still do it today if I see a new brand. You can accomplish this faster by doing the leg work on a computer before going to the thrift store.
I enjoyed watching all of the things that you picked up. However it would have been very helpful if you had shown the labels clearly. I know you went through a lot of clothes and we're trying to do it pretty fast but the labels are very important to be able to see so they stick in your head. Also, on every item maybe a suggestion of what you might sell them for. I know you did it on some but just on very few. I know time is always an issue and I do appreciate the time you do take to do what you do do. Linda
I hear you, I have done that in the past and found it takes forever and it ends up costing me with the time investment. I'd suggest having an eBay tab open while the video is going to search the item. My video coming out tomorrow is me listing some items and I show what prices I'm listing at.
Hi Sean. I started reselling men and women's clothes on ebay with my wife a couple of months ago. Are there any places for sourcing that you know of near Austin? So far we've gone to the 2 bins there, a few regular goodwills, some garage sales, and the Kyle Flea Market. Thanks!
The line is holding, impressions are still high. I have been listing a lot less and sales are still good. The store is shrinking so I'd say in 6-12 months things will probably level out.
I used spreadsheets in the beginning about 4 months but now everything is tracked via Quickbooks and Found Banking Service. My credit card has a rule so those softwares log the purchases in the correct category. I’ll be working on some videos to help explain this part of the business.
Randi works two 5 hour shifts a week. The items in this video will probably take her 1.5 days to process. I sometimes have her help with pulling items for shipping. I don't pay too close attention. She is free to take breaks, phone calls, ect.

Wish I could see what the labels looked like, it’s hard to see idk if it’s not focusing or it’s too far away. Either way appreciate the info!!

Bad, no.
I'm the same way with the clothes. I want to keep some that fit me, but I don't deserve nice things cuz I always get stains on them lol
😂 Yup
Are you able to get a number or something off the tag, to help you get info for your listing.
Their is an rn number on tags but sometimes it's difficult to find info about the style from that.
