I find where I'm at small t own lower price but less to choose from I can drive to a larger city prices are higher but more choices figuring out when the cities are going to have a sale not so easy. They there's gas $ money and sure I could take a sack lunch but I'm human I want þo go out for lunch in the big city lol
@@_calebsells I’m outside of Chicago and I will say even our goodwills are not this high of price, Atleast by a good 3-4 dollars less expensive. We also have 2 bins locations relatively close driving distance which helps
I buy all good items year round. If I have more than what I need to list, I prioritize listing in season items. But I’m okay with listing any good item at any time 👍🏼
How do you determine the size comps on jeans when you're at the thrift? I find that 90% of the time or so that jeans are not the size on the tag. They're almost always smaller due to shrinkage. I always want to plug in the exact measurements when thrifting jeans to determine sell through, but I know that the size on the tag is irrelevant.
Yeah that can happen. I mostly hold the pants up to see if they’ve been shortened. If not, I go by tag size for sell through and make the listing appropriately. Typically a size 34 won’t have a huge STR different from a 32 or 36. But the inseam will change in drastically. I try not to pick up jeans over 36W
@@_calebsells you're awesome. Thanks for the reply. That helps a lot. I also got this pocket retractable tape measure that I may start bringing with me to take actual measurements in store.
I really appreciate the rapid information on so many items ive Learned alot about mens items.....so many different names to learn 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Glad it was helpful!
When photographing pastels, light yellows or pinks any tips on getting the color to show accurately? I struggle with light colors and blacks
I have an app for my iPhone called “ProCam” where I can lock the white balance and color settings so the colors all show true
Great finds! Educational!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Learning a lot about men’s clothing from you.
Glad it’s helpful!!
Cleaning shoes does suck! Thank God for magic eraser. Thanks for the knowledge bro. Subd
Appreciate it! And yeah it’s rough lol
Idk where you’re at but you’re amazing and finding quick sell through good priced items. Because these buy costs are outrageousssss
I’m in Ohio. Are you saying your thrifts are higher?

I got super lucky with Oakley and Ralph recently at my local thrifts
Great! Some of their items can be great
Love your videos. I'm learning so much about men's brands.
Glad you like them!
Most thrift stores here price carhartt jeans for $19.99 so I don’t even look at them anymore.
I bring a Sharpie and write LOL on the price tag when thrift stores price things up stupidly. I'm a bad person.
Haha that’s hilarious
You’re not missing much on the jeans. Camo pants are amazing tho. Pay up for them!
definitely learned some new brands. thank you for cramming in some much-needed info.
Glad it was helpful!
Congrats on the Scottevest find! Great brand!
Thanks! Been on my bucket list for a while!
Great and awesome video. Thanks
Thank you for watching!
Do you list coats year round or save them for cool seasons? Or buy shorts in the winter to save for summer or list immediately?

Tha ks for the info. Out of curiosity how many items do u have i. Your store at any given time? Roughly.
1200-1500 currently
@@_calebsells Awesome. Thanks for all the great info.
That shirt jacket at the end was beautiful.
It really was! No way I was leaving it 😂
Great finds! What was the new thrift chain?
I tried red white and blue
Holy cow. Great finds! Where do you live? My thrifts never have these great brands. 😩
I’m in Ohio!
I just sold a Black Watch Polo for $70 profit. Definitely a good cop at $15.
Amazing!

That’s a good idea!
Do you have office space for your reselling business? I’m just curious because it looks like you’re in a commercial space.
Space I’m in is my garage. I also have a storage unit and a bedroom office
As a top 50 mens jeans seller, i do not pay $14 for 527s. Maybe im too cheap!
Those white oak selvedge should be 75-100.
Yeah probably overpaid on the 527s! A good reminder to check comps even when you think you know something.
FYI, Katin is pronounced Kay-tin, not Kah-tin. They are most famous for their canvas boardshorts.
I knew about the shorts but never knew how to pronounce it lol thank!
Oakley is overpriced at the thrift stores here. Most of their clothes are priced higher than eBay prices.
I’ve seen it both ways but I’m willing to pay up on good outerwear
Same here. It's been tough
Wow prices around you are crazy high. :/ I give you credit for trying to source
Gotta roll with the punches!
I was wandering how sucessful you are at finding the style of items using the codes found on tags. For me it doesn't seem to work that well.
Google lens can help if you can’t find the style code. Some brands it’s easy and others can be hard to find
🐐 🔥
thanks for watching!
@@_calebsells thanks for posting!!
There are resellers here who sit around at thrift stores all day just waiting for the new racks to come out.
Yeah it’s not a bad strategy but when do you list or ship or spend time with family? So not my method lol
💯 🔥
