    Let me know what we’re your favorite finds!
    Thanks for watching.

  • @theresellinghusband

    I've been Reselling for 3 years, 1 year part-time and the last 2 full-time and I truly believe more people should be watching your videos. 3 years ago I was watching the same 2 or 3 RUclipsr's just because their videos were fire but since they're making 90% of their income from RUclips their Thrifting videos have gone to Sh*t. I've seen them pick up shoes for more money than I have mine listed for. All they care about is content to put out a video. It's gotten really sad. But your videos are great and I'm glad I ran across your channel.

    • @TaylorExchange
      @TaylorExchange  Год назад +10

      Hey Theresellinghusband, we are about the Reselling age.
      I was a big fan of Lot of Josh and Daily Refinements. Reselling has definitely changed my outlook on life and what is possible running a business.
      I do not make much on RUclips currently but it is hard to knock the guys that are making $100-$1000 on a video the first day they publish it.
      This video took about 5 hours not including the filming of it and I’ll likely make $50 unless it goes viral. Reselling for 5 hours makes me closer to $150.
      The scale-ability of RUclips is kind of bonkers. But I do not really want to mail in any videos for the sake of posting. I’m doing my best to make the videos informative and watchable.

    • @theresellinghusband
      @theresellinghusband Год назад +4

      @Taylor Exchange I'm not knocking the RUclips videos making people money I'm just knocking that alot of people who get big on RUclips and make thousands their Reselling and Sourcing videos are garbage. Most of the ones I watched were just like your videos but once they got big their videos aren't that good and the message they're sending to possible new Resellers is horrible. I know people have to pay up for items depending on where they source and where they live but buying a pair of shoes for $30 at the flea market that I currently have or had listed for $30 isn't a good pickup but it's giving them 30 seconds of content to add to their video for people to watch. And flashing around a 100k car and a new 400-500k house is sending the wrong signal to people who are new to this. I quit a 16 year career making over 60k as my base salary before any OT but was also working 12+ hour days and the weekends at times. 9 more years I would have gotten a minimum of 3k per month retirement but I love the freedom and my Wife has a great job so any money I make Reselling is just fun money.

    • @TaylorExchange
      @TaylorExchange  Год назад +8

      @@theresellinghusband Ah I gotcha. Well I’ll keep it authentic. You will not see me paying $30 for shoes, unless I plan on wearing them.

      So I wash some but now all. I only thrift from the racks not the bins. The items usually smell like my clothes or better but if I notice anything I make a pile and run one to two loads of washes a week.
      eBay says it all has to be washed but they also say no items with stains can be listed but plenty are on the platform.
      The other thing is if an items sits in inventory for a year is it still considered clean? Anyway best advise is to wash all but I wash some.

It’s always rougher with him. Went out to get 15 items and came up with 10 but scored on a Prada men’s polo and some Diesel jeans! The other stuff was just bread and butter. I pick up Peter Millar polos and have yet to come across Scotty Cameron. So jealous! I did pick up one Peter Millar polo that had like a feather embroidery and I didn’t know the name of the course and it sold within minutes of listing to another reseller. I got the money I wanted out of it though, but definitely could have gotten a little more for it had I been an expert.
