I've been listening to your mixes on here for little while now, and I love how you do mix the Power 106 sounders in with the music. Definitely puts me into the frame of mind of how the station would've sounded back in the late '80s/early '90s. Back when radio stations had people busting their humps to give us the listeners a quality product. It's certainly a forgotten art. Keep up the awesome job on these.

Why did Power 106 died ? Oh thanks to that new so called hip hop crap like little boosie and all those new so called hip hop artists that you don't even know what the heck they are singing about yet this new generation calls them artists , really ? The real artists are the ones from the 80s 90s and early 2000s . After Snoop Dogg the rest of the artists suck until now that's why no one listens to Power 106 anymore . Now KOLA 99.9 FM has the crown. Power 106 sucks .
Power 106 died when the music and artists put out songs with no substance. Those days of real good music is gone but videos like this from @ornique, @music_treasure and @djspeedyk are re-living the best time for music in SoCal.
