Just went to the open house earlier today. The temple is crafted beautifully and it is impressive. My only complaint is that I didn't take the tour twice
Thank you for sharing! I'm originally from Salem, Utah but recently moved to NY for work and was so sad that I was going to miss the open house for this beautiful temple! Everyday I am reminded of how wonderful modern day technology can be!
So beautiful! Es uno de mis Templos favoritos, tiene la apariencia de una casa encantada en donde se puede registrar un hermoso cuento de hadas de nunca acabar...una princesa destinada a convertirse en reina por toda la eternidad.
Yes, they finally approved three of them! Still working on the other 30+, and not sure how long that will take, but at least there is some progress. Lots of red tape to go through to be approved. Still working on it.
Question: At the end of the video, it says that all the photos are from MormonNewsroom.org. However, there are definitely photos in this video that I haven't seen on that site. Where did you get them from?

I don't know why but this is my favorite temple and there's something in my heart about this temple and don't know exactly what it is. Maybe this'd be the place for me to get married someday..
I see what you are saying. You are referring to the general public. I don't know the ins and outs of the process, but as far as I am aware pictures inside aren't open to the general public. I live close to the Payson temple, and one of the workers doing tile work (He came to my house so I could repair his trailer) in the temple didn't even take pictures. He had artist renderings to go off of in order to know what his work should look like, but that is it as far as I am aware.
Even if I were still a true believer of the LDS church, it would be hard for me to reconcile the opulent expenses incurred in the building of extravagant temples, while there is still so much suffering and starvation in the world. As a multi-billion dollar corporation, the LDS church gives much less, as a percentage, than the average major corporation does toward charities that alleviate human suffering. Yet here is this very expensive temple in which millions of man hours will be spent doing pointless and false ceremonies. It is a huge misallocation of resources.
Hi Daniel, the Church donates millions of dollars annually for humanitarian causes. What do YOU do? I'd guess that you don't donate any more, and probably not nearly as much as most members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. And if that's true, you can't argue that we're not doing enough. To me and millions like me, temples are Houses of God on earth. I would hope and expect that we don't sacrifice enough to build the Lord a lean-to. If you are no longer a believer, you wouldn't understand how important these ordinances are to us. But suffice it to say, they are NOT pointless. They are NOT false ceremonies. They are places of sacred worship, of covenant-making, of revelatory experiences and of peace. You don't have to agree with us but really, it's up to us what we do with our own money. Can we agree on that?
A beautiful video. I just did endowments there yesterday. It is so elegant and beautiful. Thanks for the video.
Carolyn Phillips Glad you enjoyed the video!

***** If you download the B-roll with still photos, it has more photos of the interior.
Messages of Christ Gotcha. I had downloaded the video but didn't look all the way through it because I assumed all the photos were the same. Thanks!

What is this song called?
It's very beautiful.
The song is called "Stand in Holy Places" by Jenny Frogley
Thanks
Why are we "not allowed" to have cameras in the temple? I know it's a sacred place, but if MNR allows us to have copies of their photos, then, um...?
+MaxxFordham These photos are taken before the actual dedication occurs. Once it is dedicated they aren't allowed.
No, John Harmon - Cold Creek Works, because they're already not allowed during the openhouses too. What then?

My dad's even a sealer there and he's not even more sure than you are about it.
That's all the world needs, another temple!

Only in America.
I think the money would be better spent saving starving children instead of saving people a 15 minute drive to the one in provo
