I used to be a Catholic just like you, but now I am converting to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I may not be a Mormon however as a Christian who loves God and is grateful for salvation through Jesus Christ I do see extreme beauty and elegance in the temple architecture and I hope and pray that everyone who does not yet know God will be saved.

Interestingly enough, the thing that impressed me most about this video was the comments they made about the "Bride's Room." (A dressing room for the bride.) Basically they pointed out that every bride is a loved daughter of God, and regardless of her financial background she is given a princess wedding. I love that we are all equal in the eyes of God. I love that He loves each of us individually and cares about our personal happiness.

It's sometimes easier for a person who has very little to return to God, then those who have, well, more then they need in life. It's easy to be blinded by the success and worldly things, and harder to focus on what's really important.
In other words, at times, it's more of a blessing to just get by.
Returning to the Salt Lake Temple after a 14 year hiatus and happy to attend. Lost my way for a while but have found it again.

That isamazing good news. There are so many people from the church living on the street in jail from drugs. I hope the same thing that gets new members off would bring drug addict members back or prevent them from doing drugs.

I am so thankful for the House of the LORD . After 62 years I was sealed to my Mother and Father and I was so blessed and Happy and my heart was filled with the LOVE Of JESUS CHRIST for the sealing ordinates to be sealed to my parents for time and all eternity.
I'm a member of the church. I have been to this temple. What a beautiful temple and ask yourself, "Wonder if its true?" Wonder if what they say is truly real. I testify that it is. As the Savior said, "Come follow me"

I love to see the temple. How I would love to one day visit this temple. I am happy however to have my temple recommend back. As an older single sister its hard to sit in a church full of families, but I know I will find peace and joy in my heart to let go of me and serve another. Thank you so much for sharing
The House of the Lord is not a secret place, but a very sacred place. This video does a great job of showing non-members what it’s like in there and explaining it so it makes sense. I love this church and I love Jesus Christ with all my heart.

After the passing off my parents and my husband I have had reassurances over and over that because of our family is sealed in the Temple of our God that I will see and be with my family forever

Elder Rasband seems so humble... Just like any man you would know as your neighbor. I love to hear Elder Bednar's voice... Especially his recorded, narrator's voice. So soothing and yet totally firm and immovable. I noticed Sister Bednar's outfit matched the Bride's room. THAT was an amazing room! Thank you for pointing out that even apostles and wives can disagree sometimes Sister Bednar. President Nelson! So meek and yet a heart surgeon. Practically impossible to be a meek doctor, let alone a surgeon. He exudes love! Great video. Now if we can just get rid of this Covid issue we can go back to the temples!
When I entered the temple with my family, the rest of the world ceased to exist. All my problems, issues, and worries just faded, and my mind was completely focused on my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Heaven on earth and I am grateful for the gospel and the sealing of my family for time and all eternity.

Exactly! My large home was built similar to many rooms of the Rome Temple. I had built a celestial room on the step rest area on the staircase which is 10 X 12 where also I have pure white baby grand - piano surrounded with many large windows sooo when people drive-by or walk- by they see the luxurious beauty of the white piano with walnut wood staircase and 2 inch white wool carpeting and a huge crystal chandelier and all surrounded with white beveled - glass windows🎉!
I've never seen anything so holy it's so beautiful I love that are dedicated in christ their faith is amazing its strong I'm working on making my life right and I hope one day I can make it in the temple

You do NOT "live" the Gospel. You have been deceived. The Gospel is found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. When the Mormons tell you they "restored" it, they are misleading you. Please, read the GOSPEL for yourself (there is NOT a single temple ordinance in the TRUE GOSPEL).

The Holy Bible is the true word of God as far as it's been translated correctly, it's similar to the other Holy Bible translations like the new world and other Bibles. Only in the Book of Revelation it says not to add to or take away from this book of revelation . It would been nice if they would have put the Book of Enoch in the Bible but they would not. So they only put a couple things in Genesis. The Book of Mormon is the true word of God and the Holy Bible it is another Testament of Jesus Christ just like the Book of Mormon. If you only limit yourself to one book that's only halfway because the word of the Lord Jesus Christ will never end or never stop. So don't put a limit on your research if you do that's as far as you can go.

All I can say if you really want to be happy and see things through a different lens of joy. Only one thing stands in the way , that is called repentance. I had to find it the hard way. What a beautiful tour of the temple. The church leaders are being so open. Thank you. I love the temple. I know the church is true, I know that we have true living prophets of God on earth and that the Lord Jesus Christ lives, that the Temples are His Holy House on earth, were we can feel of his sacred presence and peace.
For any who might have heard from sources unfriendly to The Church that there are "secret" or "cultish" things happening in the temples, I would like to say that I have been there many, many times. This video is an accurate portrayal of the inside of a temple, and those things done in there are all calculated to make us better, kinder, more moral people, who strive to act as Christ taught. Bear in mind that the Lord came to redeem the imperfect, and we are all of us just that: imperfect. We strive to be less so all the time though, and going to the Temple of Jesus Christ is part of that process.
Keep digging my friend. God will answer you through simple faith in Christ once you leave the chruch. He did for me, he will for you!

I love the temples of the Lord. The Rome temple is easily one of the most beautiful edifices I've ever seen. Truly inspired by God for its design and beauty. The wonderful people of Rome and Italy must be so proud- they have a very long history of great artistic beauty.
I remember when this temple was announced. Many people thought it was a joke but I am glad to see it is not a joke.
In coming days we will see the true significance of this House of the Lord.
I had the gift to be in the temple of Rome on march 12 and be pressed for the dedication. It is a wonderfull and beautifull tempel. God gifs use wonderfull things in live. I feel blessed to have this wonderfull believe of God and Jezus Christ. The gospel is true and brings people together. If is is not on earth it will be in heaven. We have living apostles and a living Prophet. They show the light of Christ on to use and we further on to the world. One day my religion will bring me back to my Father above to live for ever and ever. Thanks God and thanks Jezus Christ to give this to me and all your childeren.
Being sealed to my wife in the Temple is one of the most spectacular moments of my life, the love that comes from such a sacred place can not be understated. May the Lords choicest blessings find you all.

I am on the periphery of diabetes and so have reduced my intake of sugar. One thing now is clear to me now is a lot of sugary things I ate in the past did not feed me. So it is with the world, we fill ourselves with things that we do not need. The Gospel of Jesus Christ provides a reality check, of how we are doing here on earth. A temple is a lovely tool in that process, John 4: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. Though this message does not have the pomp and ceremony of the World, it's reverence and peace has an impact on my soul. Thank You Oh Gracious JESUS CHRIST.

I am honored to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. His divine sacrifice for you and for me should not be taken lightly. He atoned for our sins so that if we live our lives in accordance to His commandments, we will be able to see him and live with him again. This tour of the Rome, Italy temple and the testimonies of these two Apostles of Jesus Christ have been another testament to me of His divinity.
Temples, and the work performed therein, are a beautiful witness of the love of our Heavenly Father.
I've been in this temple. Everything about it is beautiful and sacred. We need the temple. It's been over a month since I have been because of the quarantine and I miss it so much! I look forward to it being lifted just as Christ lifts our burdens and heals us as we turn to him.

@halseylover.8453, if you don't yet have your temple recommend, I'd like to encourage you to keep trying. It is worth every sacrifice. Prayer and fasting will help you prepare for the temple whether you have a recommend now or not. God blesses those who try. Being a God of mercy, He doesn't expect us to be perfect before we enter his Holy House. However, doing our best to prepare for the temple brings abundant blessings to us and many others. I am so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ , for temples, and for Apostles that love us and want us to live the plan of happiness. This is our probationary state. We are more than we can see and feel. We do have a purpose and reason for coming to this earth 🌏 I am so grateful to have been taught the truth of this life . There are so many things going on in the world , but the power that changes human nature and brings us happiness has never changed !

After the closure of temples in 2019, there is great anticipation of their reopening, and excitement for the building of many more all over the world. I am especially thankful for the newly announced temple in Casper, Wyoming, USA. I thank God, my Heavenly Father, for loving His children enough to give us commandments, covenants and continuing revelation. All of these elements are found in His holy temple.
The day I was baptized at the Temple of Los Yoses, Costa Rica, is the most profound experience, feeling how the Lord Jesus Christ called me like Lazarus from the tomb of darkness towards the renewal of my life to the resurrection of the Savor and atonement of my life to his eternal life. Although in my search for his love I had already been baptized twice in other congregations, now I know and understand from my heart and mind how important is to share to every one every where I go this glorious miracle of salvation.
We are so very blessed by the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm thankful for the Savior and all that He's done for my family and me. May the Lord bless and guide us all back to Him.
For those of us with anxiety this is helpful to see each of the rooms and have them explained.

My dream was to attend the Rome temple. My sister and her husband provided that gift to me in September 2019 and the has served to strengthen me every day of my life. I love the peace I get attending my local temple in Reno Nevada.

Visiting the temples are a wonderful experience. Being baptized in one and baptizing others of the dead was one of the most exciting experiences I had. I know Jesus is real our Lord and savior AMEN!😇

My wife and i havent been to church in years since it would have been a long road to get married in the temple. However i have always kept my beliefs and hope we can make our way there someday.
Hope you can. My guess is that it feels farther away than it actually is.
I don’t know your specific situation, but as someone who has gone through the repentance process, I can say that it is a loving gift from our Heavenly Father. When you do make it to the temple, I think you will say, “I don’t know why I waited so long.” We’re all on this journey together. Regardless of what your path looks like to this point, what matters most is where your path goes toward. Don’t punish yourself by limiting the blessings Heavenly Father desires to give you and your family. God bless you. ❤️

I have been there, I touched the christus, save your money and go visit, see The Window. Everyone go see the beauty, and feel the spirit. The lord Jesus Christ rules and reigns!

Prophet/President Nelson's testimony in the intro is absolutely striking and powerful. The Spirit is so incredibly strong when he speaks.
What a blessing it is to live in this day and age. I am so grateful for the restoration, and especially for these magnificent temples. May we all so live as to partake of the blessings to be found therein often.

Whenever the Lord has had the fullness of his gospel on the earth there have always been temples. Moses had the tabernacle. Solomon built a temple. Nephi built a temple in the Book of Mormon. It is such a blessing to have the temple restored in our day.
Im excited for the members of the church in Rome. What a beautiful temple. Like all temples, I love how each is unique but the ordinances and covenants are the same. I hope all the people of Rome will take the opportunity to tour the temple during the open house time and in anyway walk away feeling like they have had a glimpse of heaven.

The Apostle.Bernard sound Familiar. I was raced Catholic in other Countries. And as a young Girl. My Parents always taught me to Love God. Later on when I moved to Southern CA I attend different Christians Congregations. And accepted Jesus Christ as my personal saviour. All my wonderful Pastors taught me how to grow spiritual. And to never give up on God. We living in an imperfect world. But when we read pur Bibles Every day! We asked God to help us the things we can not change. God is our wonderful Father. He Loves all his children. Even when we feel discourage & dissappointed about this world. Our Dear Heavenly Father give us courage to trust in him. 2 Nephi 9

I love the Temple! This and all Temples that have been built in this dispensation, are beautiful, and each one has it's own ,almost living ,or life like individual characteristics. I have been to many of them,and in each one,something stands out about them ,but again they and all similar in beauty and peace. I love our Savior ,Jesus Christ, of the New Testament, Jehovah of the Old. He is my Savior and redeemer. I love my Eternal Father IN Heaven, end I am grateful for the Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints, and Temples.

Glad to see this open tour. Such a beautiful temple and happy and excited for the people of Italy and the region. I hope this temple may help inform those who do not know about temples or have questions about what people of my faith do inside. The temple helps me to try to be a better man each day, love all, and live a more Christ-centered life. I am thankful for Jesus Christ and have come to know that He loves you, me, and is the light of the world. I encourage all to find greater peace and joy by living what He taught.

This is simply the BEST video discussing the Temple, what we do there, the covenants that we make, and the WHY behind it all! I'm so grateful that the Lord restored the doctrine of Temples, the Priesthood authority to perform binding ordinances therein, and that He has provided (and continues to provide) so many Temples around the world to give as many of God's children as possible the opportunity to come, make covenants, and receive wonderful blessings.
