You always have to spend more than $75 to get a deal on anything. Vitamin Shoppe is way better. I wish the Doc would have made a deal through them instead.

If you want an impartial opinion from someone who used to use pre-JYM but stopped due to financial reasons and knows a bit of what's going on, you should read here. When I first got into fitness I read all of Jims stuff. I used his products when they were first released and followed his programs. I then however got into powerlifting and began studying nutrition in college, and as a college student couldn't afford his line anymore. I began making my own pre-workout and I asked him if what I had was okay for what I could afford. I said I tried including all of the critical ingredients. He told me I was still missing a lot of the essential ingredients, which I knew was horseshit. There are quite a few ingredients in pre-JYM that aren't essential and he knows that. That's when I realized he turned into a business man, and his main concern was pushing his product and not about helping the people like it used to be. But now on to the lawsuit. I remember watching a Layne Norton vlog where he said he was never going to make supplements due to the hassle, but bodybuilding.com offered to manufacture and distribute so he could formulate, be the endorser, and take the cut and not have to deal with the business side. I'm ASSUMING Jim had a similar deal. However, when the line blew up Jim wanted full ownership, there were some misunderstandings in the agreement, and there was a falling out. However, if Jim truly and legally owned the company then he wouldn't have had to change it to 2.0 and he wouldn't have had to change flavors, which is a bit shady and confusing to me. Kaged muscle doesn't distribute solely through BB.com, due to Kris owning the company, and thus if he had a falling out with BB.com his products wouldn't change at all. At this point I don't think that either side is right or wrong, I don't think Jim realized he was selling his soul when he partnered up with BB.com, unlike Layne who knew what he was getting himself into. The takeaway from this is that the products from BB.com and the new ones are pretty much the same. They're good products, but not necessary for results and are only worth it if you have the money to spend. If he did then the product on GNC would be packaged and taste the same as what has been on BB, and it'd be BB having to go and reformulate new flavors with new packaging and not, in Stoppani's own words, "continue to manufacture and distribute" the Jym products. Pretty sure if Gethin had a BB falling out KM would still be on his site, amazon, etc. Super sketched by this about something I consume the way he did this.

Jym’s program was the only programs I followed on bodybuilding about 5 years ago. The only one who could thoroughly back his shit with science lab results and statistics. I do not take supplements, if I were to it would be his, not gnc, beach body or other shit. But no point unless you got you workout and more importantly your meals / “diet” on lock down and IF you are missing some essential vitamins and minerals for pre or post recovery or growth.

Canadian Food safety are the British Food Standard. I know a company director overseeing the building of a food plant in Canada and he told me everything is strictly British Food Standards. And Jim's products are sold through uk.bodybuilding.com and therefore passed as ok in the UK.. I am guessing those sold via GNC will have to be reassessed. Those through Bodybuilding.com in the states will have no trouble in Canada since they're already passed in the UK.
I really don't care who formulates the product or what name is on the label, I just want ingredients that are safe, effective and at the right dosages and if I'm not mistaken Jim always wanted the same, but as with every company, it's all about the money and Jim sold his soul.... I also feel that Jim, isn't the old Jim anymore, since he came up with the brand and all these products, things went downhill, but that might be just my opinion. After reading about this awhile back and following the FB group for JYM Army, I definitely feel as though there are a lot of smoke and mirrors with this dude. Jim Stopanni's Encyclopedia of Muscle & Strength is an incredible book! His supplement line is also well put together. The guy is legit. Not sure what is up with some of the hate in the comment section.
My point is that Jim wasn't just doing supplements. He was also writing programs for them and connecting his supplement line to them as they are the reccomended supplements to use for the programs he has written. On top of that, I distinctly remember him writing artcles for the site as well and having a fitness 360 profile on his life. It just seems kind of strange to act like people haven't found Jim through his programs or articles on bb.com and that he only used them as a retailer
So I go over to GNC today looking for some more creatine and what do I find? None other than a big ol ProJym! Let's see how many gains I'll make with this new supplement

Jym’s program was the only programs I followed on bodybuilding about 5 years ago. The only one who could thoroughly back his shit with science lab results and statistics. I do not take supplements, if I were to it would be his, not gnc, beach body or other shit. But no point unless you got you workout and more importantly your meals / “diet” on lock down and IF you are missing some essential vitamins and minerals for pre or post recovery or growth.

Hi Doc, I support you through and through. Question for you: I literally bought pre and post jym last week in bb. The label is the same as it's been since launch, and it has your picture in the back on both. Does this mean it's TRUE ingredients? PS. I have not opened it yet...

I could be wrong but what I think he's trying to say here without actually coming out and saying it is the original product is still being sold at bodybuilding.com so for him to try screw them he came out with possibly the same identical product except it says 2.0 by it saying that and it being a new product he gets all the commission which he should.... I would actually have to look at the bottles side-by-side the to see if they're the same but that's why I think he stresses that his photo has to be on the back of the new bottle and that it says 2.0...

I just talked to a GNC rep up here and he told me that it could be anywhere from six month to six years because of Health Canada regulations.
Canadian Food safety are the British Food Standard. I know a company director overseeing the building of a food plant in Canada and he told me everything is strictly British Food Standards.
And Jim's products are sold through uk.bodybuilding.com and therefore passed as ok in the UK..
I am guessing those sold via GNC will have to be reassessed. Those through Bodybuilding.com in the states will have no trouble in Canada since they're already passed in the UK.
I really don't care who formulates the product or what name is on the label, I just want ingredients that are safe, effective and at the right dosages and if I'm not mistaken Jim always wanted the same, but as with every company, it's all about the money and Jim sold his soul.... I also feel that Jim, isn't the old Jim anymore, since he came up with the brand and all these products, things went downhill, but that might be just my opinion. I won't support his "new" Jym brand and try to go with other options that provide what I'm looking for, or maybe I'll just mix my own pre- workout. I hope bodybuilding.com wins this lawsuit because right now, I'm on their side because I believe the story more that what Jim has to say about this....

After reading about this awhile back and following the FB group for JYM Army, I definitely feel as though there are a lot of smoke and mirrors with this dude. But, having said that, I used the Pre-Jym and think it is excellent. I just don't really trust much that this dude says now. Some people blindly follow this guy and everything he says, which is sad.

My point is that Jim wasn't just doing supplements. He was also writing programs for them and connecting his supplement line to them as they are the reccomended supplements to use for the programs he has written. On top of that, I distinctly remember him writing artcles for the site as well and having a fitness 360 profile on his life. It just seems kind of strange to act like people haven't found Jim through his programs or articles on bb.com and that he only used them as a retailer

Read the active ingredients on the label - they are identical. Only difference (other than flavors) is buying from GNC financially benefits Jim; buying from bb.com doesn't. bb.com has been manufacturing Jym products for 3 years, no reason to believe anything will change unless you're seriously paranoid.
