You should get the m18 HD 3.0 (54 watt hour) compact battery for your hoodie. The 9 is just silly. Or even just 3 or 4 m12 3.0 batteries at 36 watt hours each. I'm a sparky as well. I have 2nd gen jacket and the new m12 charger adapter. I also bought the m18 adapter for the jacket and 2 m18 compact 2.0 batteries. I tried wearing it and it's ok with the 2.0 battery but as soon as you got sit down the battery jabs you. Now I only use the m12 3.0 batteries 2 of them and the new charger. For the same reason you got it. I can charge my m12 battery anywhere without bringing a big full size charger.
Returning mine. I dont know just doesn’t feel that warm to me. I’m wearing it inside the house on high setting and I’m not even hot wearing it. I went outside. It’s like 30 and i was cold as hell. My heavy jacket works better

I was taught to keep your head and feet warm and the rest of you will follow. Which holds up until it is really hawking balls out.

My original has usb with it, but recomended to not charge and heat same time. Makes me wonder how long will last with 4 amp batt though

If you want USB-C, just buy the adapter on amazon. I got that on the milwaukee USB cable, works good.

Get a set of magnetic charger cables most come with a bunch of diffrent plug recivers now one cable fits all your devices

You probably got it too big. It needs to be snug on you.
Don’t know about the jacket but the hoodie does not get warm. Took it back.

No, but you can also buy a milwaulee (non heated) baseball hat for 30 freakin dollars
I just can't get on board with wearing any piece of clothing full of heating coils. No matter how safe they are it just makes me too nervous.
