Is your view of the moon really that close through your eyepiece? 😮 Amazing. What kind of magnification or lenses would I need for that? Thanks for the vid!
Hey, I love your videos and photographs! They are super impressive. I did have a question though. I also have the Skywatcher Virtuoso 150p. I see that you sometimes use the asi178mc. I have the asi224mc and have a lot of trouble focusing it on planets and stars, etc. I’ve only been able to achieve focus on the moon by moving in the struts and using a .5 focal reducer. Are the focal lengths of these two cameras different? Do you have any tips on achieving focus? Do I need to drops the 224 and switch to the 178mc? Thanks!
To acheieve focus you need to adjust the struts and focuser until stars are pintpoints, the amount is different for every camera and depending if using barlow/reducer or filters
@ Thanks so much! That’s helpful to hear. It’s how we got focus on the moon. I just wasn’t sure if we were barking up the wrong tree and if it was an issue with the camera or not. We’ll keep playing with it!
Another one please release again. We want like sounds!
Will do another video soon 😀
Ring tuned isn't like but others wise very well!

Yes they look like that with barlow lenses, 2x and 3x are good

@davebrubeckcommunismandfre5440 probably because the moon is much easier to focus on than stars, and with such a small sensor its never easy
The wonders of our God creation! Gob bless you!
