      Taking a bunch of like 30 second exposures and stacking them together to lower camera noise and increase details, exposure is how much a camera sensor stays open collecting light

    I'm thinking of getting one of these, it would be my first telescope. I've never even looked through one before. Say I'm looking at Saturn, how would it look when I'm looking with my eyes? Kind of the same as these images we see here? Maybe a dumb question, but I have no idea. I primarily wanna be able to see Jupiter and Saturn.

    • @universewonders1
      @universewonders1 День назад

      @@adarob92 its a good starting telescope, planets will appear small but you can use a barlow 2x or 3x to enlarge them, saturn and jupiter look very good when the atmosphere conditions are stable, but dont expect to see a very large planet, the maximum magnification this telescope can achieve the most details out of is about 300x

    • @universewonders1
      @universewonders1 3 дня назад

      @@jamesbondaygee no you dont judge a collimation by the position of the reflection from the secondary, only with the position of the circle when looking from a collimation cap, on another hand the secondary rarely needs to be collimated, only after cleaning many times
