It’s so upsetting because Gidle was thriving, things have never been easy for them but since debut they worked so hard breaking records and being a self produced girl group with no precedent all the members of Gidle are so important and Soojin’s presence will always be missed. I hope Soojin will one day find justice and as soon as possible because she does not deserve to go through this. I also hope the best for Gidle their solo promotions have been very successful and the girls always surprised me I hope once again they’ll prove they’re still standing strong and I wish them even more success.

G-idle was my gateway to kpop, i remember how i discovered them through K/DA and ever since I started listening to them, I fell In Love back in 2018. And the fact that we wont be able to attend a tour with Soojin, makes me cry..
They could have been the biggest 4th Gen group ever… and Cube probably destroyed all of it. My heart still wants to believe, that Soojin will come back and have a new album with them. It was the first group I really staned from the beginning and it would hurt a lot to miss out on such talented people. Lets all hope for the best

Last year despite the loss, they still managed to successfully conduct their solo activities. I believe in the girls potential, they will be back like a blazing fire and they will rise up again. i’m so sick of people acting like they fell off. yuqi, minnie and soyeon were booked back to back last year. yuqi had hectic schedules in china, miyeon did osts, mcing and her radio show. soyeon is doing my teenage girl and she had a solo comeback with beam beam. the girls are doing fine, yes soojin’s scandal definitely hurt the group but the girls are not falling off. they have been hinting at having a comeback, so i’m not sure why people keep trying to act like the group fell off. it’s just weird, they’ve been on hiatus for a year but the girls have been booked. they literally just performed two weeks ago in dubai and there were so many fans there. anyway i just want to say that they aren’t falling off.. y’all are just being negative
Ikr! Yuqi is doing great and she just came back recently. Soyeon doing well with her programs aswell as featuring in songs (recently in Ravi's song) and miyeon doing good aswell. Shuhua not much but she is active in social media I think. They have never fell off and is always respected by people.

A lot of people think Shuhua has no hope of lifting her career off the floor if the group splits up, meanwhile everyone already has their own individual activities even packed schedules which should be relatively easy to do. Basically a lot of toxics view Shuhua as useless, they also don't think she's good vocally or at dance. An added plus, they bodyshame her plenty.

I’m not worried about Gidle. They will be fine. Yuqi’s solo Bonnie & Clyde had zero promotion and still got 15 million MV views. Minnie just participated in a cover performance for “Fiction” and her fancam got nearly 700k views. Gidle is doing just fine, no matter how long they disappear. Because the talent speaks for itself. I can listen to the Hwaa album 10 years from now, because it’s not your average “fast food” pop songs. Gidle’s music is genuinely good, timeless music.

Soyeon is still on MTG, I don't think She would have time to prepare for a comeback until after the show is over so probably we won't have a comeback until March. Idk if I would call it a "disappearing", like yeah, it's been more than a year since their had a comeback, but they were still active during the hiatus. Girls opened their private instagram accounts, Soyeon released her solo album which got 2 wins and now is a mentor in a survival show, Miyeon was active all the time as MC and acted in a drama, Yuqi was doing her solo activities in China as well as Minnie in Thailand + she acted in "So not worth it" on Netflix, Shuhua also left Korea, but was active in social media. Recently they all performed together for the first time since Soojin left and they are rumored to have a comeback soon. I was following all their activies all the time and from what I saw Soyeon pretty much confirmed it's not over yet and even revealed a possible name of their future album while saying "You all thought we were gonna die, right? But never, I never" in one of her performances while (G)I_DLE's song Oh my god was playing, which is obvious since all their albums have the "I [...]" name (I am, I made, I trust, I burn). Not to mention the fact that Soyeon constantly mentioned her group during the solo promotions, for example in the lyrics she wrote for "New vision" there's a line saying "Idle is my masterpiece" or smaller thing like during the Beam beam stage doing "Latata" choreo. She's strong and being the backbone of Idle, she won't give up that easily. Honestly I don't know what Cube will do with Soojin, she's still under the company and recently we even got a first update ever since her departure saying that the police is still investigating or something like that, but at the same time Cube is cutting out a part of the vlive where Shuhua almost said Soojin's name. I just know for sure it isn't over yet.

Why doesn't anyone ever talk about how that actress seo shinae at one point admitted she didn't know forsure if soojin said anything about her. She literally said she just assumed she was apart of it because she knew those girls. And shinae is literally the reason netizens started believing Soojin could be a bully. Before shinaes shady post nobody even believed soojins accuser because she had no solid proof and her story wasn't adding up, especially when people that weren't her friends started coming out and saying soojin never bullied anyone. None of these big channels that makes these videos ever talk about this and just leave it at soojin being kicked out. So frustrating.
(G)I-DLE is one of the most interesting kpop group I have seen in a while especially with the tag of being a self produced female kpop group , and with their genre bending music. They have tried to not box themselves in a theme or genre and always try to do different in every comeback which felt refreshing. And not to mention the unique different vocal colours of each member which sounds so different from everything i listen to. Everything about this group is unique from its inception. And they were on the track to do something big. But then came the big truck ramming through everything they worked so hard to built. On that fateful , there were so many accusations but sadly Soojin was caught in the crossfire and fell victim. The accusations get muddier as more times passes by , short gist of it which i saw was the accusation was she cursed her so called friend when she failed to return the money she owed soojin for a long time and this happened when she was 12 years old and for this the victim's elder sister claimed that she got a genetic disease because of that 🤨. Then for this which everyone seemed to ignore was the victim's elder sister threatened the then 12 year old Soojin that she will choke her. 👏👏. And to make this more absurd the victim in the midst of the bullying accusations danced to DUMDI DUMDI live on Instagram. This is all fun for them to ruin person's life who worked so hard to get where she is. But all this thing hit the roof when the actress seo shin ae indirectly accused soojin without naming her because she is too clever for that. She knows she can be sued for that. The accusations were extending from making her feel outcast to her hearing them saying ' she is not that pretty .. how did she become an actress etc?' and recently she even confessed to a fan on insta that she is not even sure that if Soojin was involved is this. While Soojin clearly admits what she did like smoking and denies every bullying anyone or even knowing seo shin ae at that time but she is ostatcized for it like why she didn't just apologies. The korea netizens are relentless when it comes accusations of any sort on kpop idol , they are willing to look over any other people. I really hope Soojins name is cleared and she comes back to (G) I-DLE. Coz other than her amazing talent, she meants so much to the members, she was known as the mother of the group because she looked after other members especially Shuhua who was really close to Soojin. FYI their first full album was just announced and comes out in march. They are gonna be just fine. The group needed to take it easy after Soojin left and it was nice that Soyeon and Yuqi got to do so much solo work in 2021. Girls are back.
Oooh it's nice to see a RUclipsr with positive coverage of (G)I-DLE! I feel like the past year has been pretty tough on the fans but even more so on the members themselves, with quite a few of them speaking of the anxieties they have now and for the future. I feel like this might be unpopular, but I think it's too soon to write them off as one of kpop's "what if" scenario! Even though they have been inactive as a group for over a year, the members have been working their asses off for the past year and have even gained quite a lot of fans in their respective countries. Yuqi took over China, Minnie took over Thailand, Miyeon and Soyeon over Korea, and Shuhua who took over the dance studio! (Not to mention her Record Breaking variety show appearance in Taiwan as well) So one year from Hwaa, all the members are in Korea and are preparing for a comeback. All of the members are practicing like crazy and the hype is real. As a Neverland, I know how weird it is to see (G)I-DLE as 5, how it feels wrong to move forward leaving Soojin behind, but I really wish both fans and non-fans look forward to their upcoming comeback. Please support them because our anxieties and our sadness is nothing to that of the members, who watched a friend leave and their future become uncertain. I never would thought to see the day to see where is gidle on your channel when I found your channel when gidle just debuted... it feels so unreal on what is happening and honestly the group feels incomplete without soojin. Seeing them grow as a group and promote themselves only for that to be taken away because of cube's horrible descions is awful. I've followed the situation with soojin as well and it's heartbreaking on what has come out; personally I think she was in the wrong crowd but isn't as horrible as she was made out to be, even seo shine didn't know if she was apart of the "bullying group" with what a person asked. The group that got me into k-pop…knew basically nothing about it until I randomly heard K/DA (not a League player, but a gamer) and discovered Soyeon and Miyeon. Those tracks slap, and Soyeon’s rapping blew me away. Jumped to I-DLE from there and became a neverland and k-pop fan generally. Man, such, such a bummer. I reeeeeaaaally hope they can bounce back.

When soojin was accused I thought after sometime we will be back to normal. But suddenly everything changed. Our fandom was not too big but after all this we broke apart. What happened did a lot of damage to the group and having a year long hiatus didn't help either as there were other groups making comebacks and big companies debuting new groups. I think what helped held on to their popularity was the solo activities. But recently, the girls have been hinting a comeback. Soyeon and Yuqi saying their favorite song is their "next song." I think after BTOB finish promoting their comeback, Cube will announce (G)I-DLE's comeback. But its hard to say how successful their next comeback will be. All of the members are quite popular but the group hasn't done any activities together for nearly a year or released new music, causing their popularity to decrease a little (also including the bullying issue). Some "fans" left because of Soojin's departure and some has little motivation due to the fact that the group will be promoting as 5 from now on. I think if their next comeback does decent or very well in music charts (both in Korea and internationally), then they are able to rise back to their position before their hiatus and the bully issue broke out. I don't think they will be able to beat their achievements from HWAA era, but I think they'll do decent. I believe they are able to be the Kpop giants, they make great music and that's one thing that a lot of fans love about the group. It's going to be a slow recovery, but I know they can do it. They're a self-produced group ffs!

As long as soyeon is there, I am still hopeful for them, they are one of the best 4th gen group out there. I should not say this, but their comeback depends upon failure of lightsum to take off. I have been into kpop for the past 2 years, mainly I am from post BTS era. So outside of the big 3 and hybe, gidle was the first group that caught my attention. And if cube mess up gidle, they are cutting the branch they are sitting on. Because lightsum is getting major traction because of the popularity of gidle. They are not standing out on there own, I know it's too early but in kpop as far as I have observed, the first 2 comeback projects the next 1-1.5 years of your groups trajectory.
Imo Lightsum still hasnt showcase much unlike gidle when they got korea under their belt immediately after debut. The members of gidle are such powerhouses in their respective field that it is kind of hard to forget them
@Insider well I had a lot of content. Miyeon was working On new drama if I remember. Yuqi had a lot of promotion in China which I enjoyed + her debut as soloist. Soyeon being a mentor and released 2 songs + there is also her whole solo comeback. Minnie had a collaboration with Thailand artist. The only member who didn't do many things was Shuhua, but it's not because she didn't want to, just cube didn't want let her do what she wanted. This girl wanted create a youtube channel for us. If you think that you did not have content from them, it means that you simply did not follow them.

She was on a cooking show too, and Gossip Idle with Miyeon. Miyeon had 4 web dramas, 3 collaborations, several OSTs, 2 magazine covers, and she hosted a lot of shows. Minnie had the collaboration, was on a lot of variety shows, got a cf and had an insane number of magazine shoots. Yuqi was on Stage Boom, Keep Running and a lot of other shows in China, tons of endorsements, released her solo single album, performed at a festival and had a lot of magazine shoots too. Soyeon had her solo comeback, had a collab with Colde for Dolce & Gabbana, was a mentor, magazine shoots etc. They did a lot lmao

I believe (G)I-DLE is still a very successful group and still have great potential to grow even bigger. They recently had a performance in Dubai which means they are still relevant and each of the members have their own individual schedules that keep them busy. There’s also rumors that they’re currently working on a comeback. The pandemic and Cube mishandling Soojin’s Bullying scandal definitely hurt and slowed down the groups growth but I believe that they will make a strong bounce back. Soojin deserves justice and I hope she will be able to come back to the industry and shine again on stage. Wishful thinking would be her rejoining the group but I know that’s a very long stretch.
They didnt drop music for one year and you think they disapeared? Its completly normal to take Breaks, enjoy life and seek for Inspiration to make New music. Remember they are a self producing group, you cant and shouldnt drop music every half year, with Promotion, Shows and other Deals. The reason most groups in k-pop can do that, is cause they dont make thier own music. And even then its a lot of work and Stress. So relax guys and wait. The soojin thing is bad, but relax guys they will make music again.

Um true neverlands would know they didn’t disappear. They didn’t do much as a group for a year but they actually had so much sched than the past years as solos. Yuqi was so busy in China, Minnie debuted as an actress and was also busy in Thailand. Soyeon had her solo debut and she was a judge on a show and she appeared on a lot of shows too. Miyeon had a handful of acting job and was a host on MCountdown Shuhua was on rest but she practiced her dancing a lot and she pretty much also covered Soojin’s part so she probably practiced for that too. So they didn’t really disappeared..people just assumed that because of Soojin.
Seems like a conspiracy, but (G)I-DLE definitely made their mark and a pointed statement that female artists can go farther. (G)I-DLE whatever happens to them laid the foundation for this by being the example. Really the way they were swept up by this bullying reckoning is the worst thing that could have happened to anyone in the industry, and this group was just beginning when they got hit, and hard. Tragic.

Idle were clearly sabotaged due to being in the peak of their popularity after having their biggest comeback with HWAA, aswell as all the worldwide success and attention from League of Legends. Other 4th gen artists coming on the scene like Aespa, IVE, and likely JYP's new girlgroup are already stealing the spotlight domestically and internationally in a much shorter time - while Idle have been sitting ducks for over a year now. It really infuriates me that jealous childish haters wanna ruin talented peoples careers over something they ALLEGEDLY did when they were a CHILD.
Hopefully Soyeon can bring them back to the position they once were in, but with one of the most popular and strongest performers down...I dont have a whole lotta faith in their next comeback being nearly as successful as their previous discography.

It’s so upsetting because Gidle was thriving, things have never been easy for them but since debut they worked so hard breaking records and being a self produced girl group with no precedent all the members of Gidle are so important and Soojin’s presence will always be missed. I hope Soojin will one day find justice and as soon as possible because she does not deserve to go through this. I also hope the best for Gidle their solo promotions have been very successful and the girls always surprised me I hope once again they’ll prove they’re still standing strong and I wish them even more success.

Ikr! Yuqi is doing great and she just came back recently. Soyeon doing well with her programs aswell as featuring in songs (recently in Ravi's song) and miyeon doing good aswell. Shuhua not much but she is active in social media I think. They have never fell off and is always respected by people.

A lot of people think Shuhua has no hope of lifting her career off the floor if the group splits up, meanwhile everyone already has their own individual activities even packed schedules which should be relatively easy to do. Basically a lot of toxics view Shuhua as useless, they also don't think she's good vocally or at dance. An added plus, they bodyshame her plenty.

Idk if I would call it a "disappearing", like yeah, it's been more than a year since their had a comeback, but they were still active during the hiatus. Girls opened their private instagram accounts, Soyeon released her solo album which got 2 wins and now is a mentor in a survival show, Miyeon was active all the time as MC and acted in a drama, Yuqi was doing her solo activities in China as well as Minnie in Thailand + she acted in "So not worth it" on Netflix, Shuhua also left Korea, but was active in social media. Recently they all performed together for the first time since Soojin left and they are rumored to have a comeback soon. I was following all their activies all the time and from what I saw Soyeon pretty much confirmed it's not over yet and even revealed a possible name of their future album while saying "You all thought we were gonna die, right? But never, I never" in one of her performances while (G)I_DLE's song Oh my god was playing, which is obvious since all their albums have the "I [...]" name (I am, I made, I trust, I burn). Not to mention the fact that Soyeon constantly mentioned her group during the solo promotions, for example in the lyrics she wrote for "New vision" there's a line saying "Idle is my masterpiece" or smaller thing like during the Beam beam stage doing "Latata" choreo. She's strong and being the backbone of Idle, she won't give up that easily. Honestly I don't know what Cube will do with Soojin, she's still under the company and recently we even got a first update ever since her departure saying that the police is still investigating or something like that, but at the same time Cube is cutting out a part of the vlive where Shuhua almost said Soojin's name. I just know for sure it isn't over yet.

Why doesn't anyone ever talk about how that actress seo shinae at one point admitted she didn't know forsure if soojin said anything about her. She literally said she just assumed she was apart of it because she knew those girls. And shinae is literally the reason netizens started believing Soojin could be a bully. Before shinaes shady post nobody even believed soojins accuser because she had no solid proof and her story wasn't adding up, especially when people that weren't her friends started coming out and saying soojin never bullied anyone.
None of these big channels that makes these videos ever talk about this and just leave it at soojin being kicked out. So frustrating.
(G)I-DLE is one of the most interesting kpop group I have seen in a while especially with the tag of being a self produced female kpop group , and with their genre bending music. They have tried to not box themselves in a theme or genre and always try to do different in every comeback which felt refreshing. And not to mention the unique different vocal colours of each member which sounds so different from everything i listen to. Everything about this group is unique from its inception. And they were on the track to do something big. But then came the big truck ramming through everything they worked so hard to built. On that fateful , there were so many accusations but sadly Soojin was caught in the crossfire and fell victim. The accusations get muddier as more times passes by , short gist of it which i saw was the accusation was she cursed her so called friend when she failed to return the money she owed soojin for a long time and this happened when she was 12 years old and for this the victim's elder sister claimed that she got a genetic disease because of that 🤨. Then for this which everyone seemed to ignore was the victim's elder sister threatened the then 12 year old Soojin that she will choke her. 👏👏. And to make this more absurd the victim in the midst of the bullying accusations danced to DUMDI DUMDI live on Instagram. This is all fun for them to ruin person's life who worked so hard to get where she is. But all this thing hit the roof when the actress seo shin ae indirectly accused soojin without naming her because she is too clever for that. She knows she can be sued for that. The accusations were extending from making her feel outcast to her hearing them saying ' she is not that pretty .. how did she become an actress etc?' and recently she even confessed to a fan on insta that she is not even sure that if Soojin was involved is this. While Soojin clearly admits what she did like smoking and denies every bullying anyone or even knowing seo shin ae at that time but she is ostatcized for it like why she didn't just apologies. The korea netizens are relentless when it comes accusations of any sort on kpop idol , they are willing to look over any other people.
I really hope Soojins name is cleared and she comes back to (G) I-DLE. Coz other than her amazing talent, she meants so much to the members, she was known as the mother of the group because she looked after other members especially Shuhua who was really close to Soojin. It's unlikely but I am hoping for the best.

I feel like the past year has been pretty tough on the fans but even more so on the members themselves, with quite a few of them speaking of the anxieties they have now and for the future.
I feel like this might be unpopular, but I think it's too soon to write them off as one of kpop's "what if" scenario! Even though they have been inactive as a group for over a year, the members have been working their asses off for the past year and have even gained quite a lot of fans in their respective countries. Yuqi took over China, Minnie took over Thailand, Miyeon and Soyeon over Korea, and Shuhua who took over the dance studio! (Not to mention her Record Breaking variety show appearance in Taiwan as well)
So one year from Hwaa, all the members are in Korea and are preparing for a comeback. All of the members are practicing like crazy and the hype is real.
As a Neverland, I know how weird it is to see (G)I-DLE as 5, how it feels wrong to move forward leaving Soojin behind, but I really wish both fans and non-fans look forward to their upcoming comeback. Please support them because our anxieties and our sadness is nothing to that of the members, who watched a friend leave and their future become uncertain.

I never would thought to see the day to see where is gidle on your channel when I found your channel when gidle just debuted... it feels so unreal on what is happening and honestly the group feels incomplete without soojin. Seeing them grow as a group and promote themselves only for that to be taken away because of cube's horrible descions is awful. I've followed the situation with soojin as well and it's heartbreaking on what has come out; personally I think she was in the wrong crowd but isn't as horrible as she was made out to be, even seo shine didn't know if she was apart of the "bullying group" with what a person asked. She essentially she ruined soojin's career single handedly over nothing. The kneitz for throwing so much hate to soojin and has failed to see the evidence, so has cube. And who is suffering? Gidle
I actually dont feel bad for the actress when she started to get hate because her career isnt over and was never in so much danger as soojins. About your theory as to what may be the truth, I think very similar and I also will supprt soojin even if somehow it turns out she i fact was a bully because well ... she was and thats all it takes for me to accept her.
I still wish and hope that Cube take Soojin back into the group. She’s still under cube anyways and it was said she didn’t bully that girl, I see no reason to not get her back :(

The group that got me into k-pop…knew basically nothing about it until I randomly heard K/DA (not a League player, but a gamer) and discovered Soyeon and Miyeon. Those tracks slap, and Soyeon’s rapping blew me away. Jumped to I-DLE from there and became a neverland and k-pop fan generally.

i hate that the stupid scandal happened right when idle was at their peak, they had gotten their first number #1 in korean charts and then that stupid scandal came and ruined their reputation, its as if the "victim" planned it all just to ruin them :( like seriously why should i care about something soojin "did" when she was a child, ill definitely still support idle and soojin but it will for sure be different from now on
What happened did a lot of damage to the group and having a year long hiatus didn't help either as there were other groups making comebacks and big companies debuting new groups. I think what helped held on to their popularity was the solo activities. But recently, the girls have been hinting a comeback. Soyeon and Yuqi saying their favorite song is their "next song." I think after BTOB finish promoting their comeback, Cube will announce (G)I-DLE's comeback. But its hard to say how successful their next comeback will be. All of the members are quite popular but the group hasn't done any activities together for nearly a year or released new music, causing their popularity to decrease a little (also including the bullying issue). Some "fans" left because of Soojin's departure and some has little motivation due to the fact that the group will be promoting as 5 from now on. I think if their next comeback does decent or very well in music charts (both in Korea and internationally), then they are able to rise back to their position before their hiatus and the bully issue broke out. I don't think they will be able to beat their achievements from HWAA era, but I think they'll do decent. I believe they are able to be the Kpop giants, they make great music and that's one thing that a lot of fans love about the group. It's going to be a slow recovery, but I know they can do it. They're a self-produced group ffs!
I think we tested it During Soyeon Solo Album Beam Beam got 2 Wins even tho the timing wasn't really right and Soojin case is still happening~~ so that gives me hope that if Soyeon solo can get 2wins while soojin controversy is going on why would it affect their group comeback?
(G)I-dle is well established within the Kpop industry, specially Soyeon, so I believe they will only grow stronger...and I also believe they will do anything they can to help Soojin

I should not say this, but their comeback depends upon failure of lightsum to take off.
I have been into kpop for the past 2 years, mainly I am from post BTS era. So outside of the big 3 and hybe, gidle was the first group that caught my attention. And if cube mess up gidle, they are cutting the branch they are sitting on. Because lightsum is getting major traction because of the popularity of gidle. They are not standing out on there own, I know it's too early but in kpop as far as I have observed, the first 2 comeback projects the next 1-1.5 years of your groups trajectory.
Imo Lightsum still hasnt showcase much unlike gidle when they got korea under their belt immediately after debut. The members of gidle are such powerhouses in their respective field that it is kind of hard to forget them

@Insider well I had a lot of content. Miyeon was working On new drama if I remember. Yuqi had a lot of promotion in China which I enjoyed + her debut as soloist. Soyeon being a mentor and released 2 songs + there is also her whole solo comeback. Minnie had a collaboration with Thailand artist. The only member who didn't do many things was Shuhua, but it's not because she didn't want to, just cube didn't want let her do what she wanted. This girl wanted create a youtube channel for us.

She was on a cooking show too, and Gossip Idle with Miyeon. Miyeon had 4 web dramas, 3 collaborations, several OSTs, 2 magazine covers, and she hosted a lot of shows. Minnie had the collaboration, was on a lot of variety shows, got a cf and had an insane number of magazine shoots. Yuqi was on Stage Boom, Keep Running and a lot of other shows in China, tons of endorsements, released her solo single album, performed at a festival and had a lot of magazine shoots too. Soyeon had her solo comeback, had a collab with Colde for Dolce & Gabbana, was a mentor, magazine shoots etc. They did a lot lmao

I believe (G)I-DLE is still a very successful group and still have great potential to grow even bigger. They recently had a performance in Dubai which means they are still relevant and each of the members have their own individual schedules that keep them busy. There’s also rumors that they’re currently working on a comeback. The pandemic and Cube mishandling Soojin’s Bullying scandal definitely hurt and slowed down the groups growth but I believe that they will make a strong bounce back. Soojin deserves justice and I hope she will be able to come back to the industry and shine again on stage. Wishful thinking would be her rejoining the group but I know that’s a very long stretch.

Um true neverlands would know they didn’t disappear. They didn’t do much as a group for a year but they actually had so much sched than the past years as solos. Yuqi was so busy in China, Minnie debuted as an actress and was also busy in Thailand. Soyeon had her solo debut and she was a judge on a show and she appeared on a lot of shows too. Miyeon had a handful of acting job and was a host on MCountdown Shuhua was on rest but she practiced her dancing a lot and she pretty much also covered Soojin’s part so she probably practiced for that too. So they didn’t really disappeared..people just assumed that because of Soojin.

Seems like a conspiracy, but (G)I-DLE definitely made their mark and a pointed statement that female artists can go farther. (G)I-DLE whatever happens to them laid the foundation for this by being the example. Really the way they were swept up by this bullying reckoning is the worst thing that could have happened to anyone in the industry, and this group was just beginning when they got hit, and hard. Tragic.
