I know you'd preferred if it was purple, but the blue snakeskin reminds me of the Far Beyond Driven album, so that's pretty badass.
Also, your first demo of the generator has one of my favorite metal tones ever, such a kickass amp.

I have one and that purple channel is a BEAST. The blue channel is the best clean I’ve ever heard and the red is voiced slightly different and it’s perfect for leads. Best amp ever

Amazing amp! Seems to have every type of the sound one can possibly need.
I like it a lot, it never oversaturated or lost clarity, and has a kind of a djenti high end.
It's not my sound by any means but MAN do I love Revv... They're so good at what they're doing. Beautiful.

@@antoniogonzalez4204 true! Not sure if I'll go all out and grab a Strymon one day or not, they all seem so badass though. I can't recall what, and i may be mistaken, but they used to go by another name before they were acquired by another company. It would be cool to track some of those down
This amp just sounds great.
Mesa rectifier has now become the 'softer' channel. What an age we live in.

Lighter gauge guitar strings in a high gain application are so cool, dude. I've started using lighter gauges when i play and it sounds so much more focused. It sounds tight!
Been squeezing those sounds out of my Line 6 Helix since before they even included the REVV in one of the updates 💯🖤

@@Max_94 it is quite good. But. The Badonk was guiding me through metal tone heaven long before its introduction, and tbh I still go back time and time again. The tonal characteristics of the REVV are slightly smoother, but it doesn't have the beans of the Badonk imo.

- Gonna take the minute to say that the Solar A2.7 FR LN i recently bought is super slick, love the guitar, love the content.
I saw a purple snakeskin powerball in a shop when I was 22, that is my dream amp in my fav color, and I didn't have the $. To this day I regret not playing it, I've yet to see another Engl in person six years later
Got to hear the revv and also learn a Haunted song. That second album was their best.

at 4:42 it's the money shot! channel 4 sounds very boogie rectumfrier. at 5:40 so good, i love the slow stuff, the fast mathy stuff is okay, but the groovey stuff is where it's at for a geezer like me, haha, just because it's so fun and heavy.

This sounds like a great amp for metal. When you review the 5150, please add an overdrive in the front.
